Chapter 77

The Next morning, Sid took me to the airport.

A week and a half or so, later I came home from work. Sidney was lying on.

"hey hot stuff, your home."

"hey sweet stuff" he got up and kissed me.

"what are you doing tomorrow?"

"nothing, why?"

"I'm off, wanna go tell my parents."

"sure"

"okay. I'm gonna go call my mom."

"okay"

Later that night, Sid was on his laptop. i was cooking dinner. his phone rang.

"hello" he picked it up. "mmmm we're going to her parents" he said "thanks man, yeah
she was........yeah not till late....sorry." he said "yupp bye." he hung up. "that
was Marc he wanted to know what we were doing tomorrow."

"oh"

The next day we were on our way to my parents. I turned my ring around so the
diamond wasn''t showing.

"what you do that for?" he asked

"so they won't see it, i want to tell them before they guess."

"okay"

We knocked on the door, Mom answered the door.

"Brittany" she said

"hi. mom" she hugged me.

"Sidney"

"hi, Anne"

"where's Dad?"

"in the living room"

"Britt"

"Adam" Is aid, giving him hug.

"nows everything going?"

"everything good."

"hows Abby?"

"she good, she getting bigger."

"good" I laughed

"is Aimee here?"

"yeah, in the living room too."

"okay, lets go in the living room." I said, I grabbed Sid's hand.

"Sidney" my dad said

"Dan" Sid let go of my hand and shook my dad's.

"dad" I said

"sorry sweetie" he hugged me.

We were sitting down.

"Okay, well mmmm.....we have something we went to tell you." I said putting my hands
together, and feeling the diamond ring on my finger. "mmm...we're.....mmmm...we're
engaged" i said turning the ring back around, and put it out little.

"oh my" my mom said, dad smiled. Aimee mouth dropped, and Adam smiled my mom grabbed
my hand, and looked at it, and she lifted my hand i got up with it. and she hugged
me, I saw Sidney stand up and shook my dad hand, and Adam hugged him. I hugged
Aimee, then my dad, Adam hugged me.

"my baby sister getting married before me."

"well, your having a baby, your one person ahead of me." i laughed them walked
beside Sid.
my dad was smiling at me.

"what?" I asked

"nothing" he said looking Sidney who was also smiling.

"what?" I asked again.

"I knew" dad said

"huh?"

"He knew" Sid said "the day he went to practice with me, i asked him what he
thought." I looked at him, and smiled.

"you've had this, that long."

"I had the idea, that long."

"you knew" mom said "why didn't you tell me?"

"I wanted her to tell you." he said

"anyways, when this happened last night."

"well, no, it happen about two weeks ago."

"and i just hearing about it now?"

"mom, I didn't want to tell you on the phone."

"but weeks"

"I wanted to wait until Sidney was home, so we could tell you together."

"Okay.....Okay I'm happy for you."

"anyways, you two staying for dinner?" dad asked changing the subject.

"yes" Sid said

After Dinner, we went straight home, around six we were walking up the steps.

"i can't believe my dad knew, I can't believe you talked to him about it."

"well, yeah---"

"Sid did you leave the sink light on?" I asked cutting him off.

"no, why?" he turned around, the little light was one above the sink was on. "did
you?" he asked

"no"

"let me go first." he said, putting his arm in front of me, and unlocked the door. I
followed right behind him. he turned on the lights on.

"Surprise!" a bunch of people yelled. I jumping holding on to Sid's arm. he jumped
too.

"what the hell." he said

"Congratulations" Marc said, and Max, Vero, Staaly and more guys and their
girlfriends.

"Brittany" V said pulling me in for a hug.

"what" I said

"its a engagement party." she said

i didn't know what to say but "thank you"

"its no problem" she said "I can't believe you and Sidney are getting married." she
said "let me see"

"oh" I said, and stuck out my hand she grabbed my hand.

"its beautiful."

"thanks" I smiled and looked at Sidney, he winked at me.

"no, they got us both." he put his hand on my back. I smiled

I was having one of the best times of my life.

"another round of shots" staaly girlfriend yelled. i stood at the counter, and I
stood at the counter, and I was feeling a buzz. I picked up the glass. I looked
by side me and Sid about to take a shot.

"what" he smiled. I drink the shot.

"nothing handsome." he took a drink then I kissed him. he laughed. the night I got
about the most drunk i have ever. i couldn't even walk straight.

The next morning i woke up.

"oh" I said with the biggest headache.

"Sidney" I said putting my arm on the other side of the bed. he wasn't there.

I swig my legs over the side og the bed, and sat there for a few mintres with my
head down, with my eyes shut. rubbing my temples. I stood up, i didn't feel dizzy
until i started walking. i was walking out of the bedroom, i had to brace myself by
putting my hand on the door, which made it hit the wall.

"oh, that was loud." I said, i walked into the living room. Sidney was passed out on
the couch with one leg and one arm off the couch, and the other arm over his face.
I sat in the chair and grabbed the small blanket off the back of it. and just laid
there for a few mitntures. I saw Sidney starting to move.

"oh." he said

"mmmm...huh" i said

"oh my god" he sat up on the couch. "you feeling a hung over too?"

"yeah"

"do you have work today?"

"oh shit, work what time is it?"

"little after 8:30" he said putting his head back down.

"I was supposed to be there at 8:30" i said getting up, and the headache just hit me.

"oh"

"maybe you should call off." I heard him mummble

"I can't" i siad in the bedroom getting dress. i had to slow down, because the
headache was horriable.

"I got to go" I said leaning down to sidney.

"don't yell" he yelled, with me right next to me.

"you don't yell" I said "i'm right next to you."

"oh, sorry"

"can I have a kiss?" he lifted his head up, ad I kissed him.

i was at work feeling better, I din't really get in trouble.

Then, this older lady cam in, she comes in the same day every week and orders the
same thing.

"hi, beth" I said

"hi, honey"

"the same"

"yeah, but instead of coffee can i have Orange juice."

"yupp." I put her order in/

"how you doing?" I asked her.

"i'm good, you look like you don't feel good."

"yeah, i didn't sleep that good, ans got up late this morning."

"having too much fun last night"

"yeah, I did our friends throw me and my boy -- fiance a party" i said it was the
first time i said it and it brought a smile to my face.

"Fiance"

"yeah" i said showing her the ring.

"Congratulations" she said "i want to meet this boy."

"well you never know when he will come in." I said and went to check on her food.

I got home that night, got a shower, cooked dinner, and sat in all night with Sidney.
