Chapter 75
The next morning, Sid still had the cup. i woke up went downstairs. i was walking down the stairs. i heard Sidney.

"shit" he said

I come into the living room, He was in ther with his parents, and taylor.

"whats wrong?" i asked

"nothing" he said "we got to get ready?"

"okay" he been acting werid for a couple of days now.

we went upstairs, i was coming out of the bathroom he was going around in the top of
the dresser.

"what are you doing?"

"nothing" he said

"are you okay, you been acting werid, for a couple days."

"i'm fine"

"okay"

"are you ready?"

"yupp"

We went to this measum they had an area of Sid it had old pictures, awards,
jersey, and even his mom's dyer.

After that we went to am these different places around cole hobour like his school.

Then later we went back to his house. I came out of the house.

"where's Sid?" I asked one of the carmera men.

"he want around there."

"okay, thanks" I want around the bend.

"what are you doing?" i laughed

"I going to wash it."

"your going to wash the stanley cup."

"yeah"

"why?"

"because. i have it , I might as well wash it."

"okay"

"okay" he points the hores at me.

"don't even" he quickly let water out "no" I run away amd he laughed.

the rest of the day, Sidney did interviews.

That night Sid had a party.

I was sitting on Sidney lap, on the patio. His arm was on my legs. We were talking
some his friends.

Later that night, I got away from everybody. I went to the dock.

Sid's POV

I come of the house. i saw Brittany was walking to the dock. I took a deep breath
and put my hand into pockey, and pulled out a little box opened it up. i looked at
it.

"I got to do this" I said to myself.

"hey dude" Max said putting his arm around me. "is that a--"

"shhhhhh..." I grabbed him, and move to the side.

"Sorry, but are you going to---"

"yeah"

"well it about time."

"i know, I had it long enough."

"how long have you had it?"

"for a couple months, well i brought aa couple months ago."

"you nervous?"

"hell yes."

"you'll be fine." he said "when are you going to do it?"

"now" I said looking down at the dock Brittany was now sitting on the dock,

"oh, dude, go"

I put it back in my pocket, I walked down the docks. she looked at me.

"hey, handsome"

"hey beautiful" I said sitting behind her, wrapping my lags around her. she put her
hands on my legs.

"what are you doing down here all by yourself?"

"I love it down here."

"i know"

"and, i;m not by myself anymore."

"yeah, your not." I said wrapping my arms around her . and kissing her neck.

"I love you" she said

"i love you too." I was trying to get in my pocket.

"what are you doing?"

"nothing"

"you been doing a lot of nothing lately."

"come here"

"what?" she asked. i stood up.

"come here"

"where we going?" she asked, standing up.

"no where"

I grabbed her hand started walking to end of the dock.

"Brittany?"

"yeah." she said turning towards me.

"okay,mmmm I love you."

"no, I love you, and I haven't felt thins way about any other girl. your the same
and some what different in a good way since, I met you, and you'd changed me, you
showed me that there is more to love the hockey" I smiled. "I just" I said "what i'm
trying to said is ..." I said, pulling out the ring and gettig down on one knee I open it. Her hand went to her mouth and her eyes started to tear up. "Brittany, Beautiful........." I took a deep breath. "will you marry me?"
she looked me "sidney" she whisper, she smiled she started crying.

"Britt" I grabbed her hand, as I looked up at her.

she started nodding her head "yes............yes"

"yes" I said

"yes" she said pulling me up, and hugging me.

"here" I broke away from her and grabbed her hand and put the ring on her finger.

"is this the nothing?" she asked

"yeah"

"well this looks like a whole a lot of something."

"well yeah, but I didn't want you to know."

"trust me, I didn't know anything?" she said

"good" I kissed her.

"so who all up there knows?"

"my mom, dad, taylor my grandmothers, and max." she just smiledd at me, she stared to cry again.

"don't cry" I said

"i'm happy" she laughed

"you want to goes up, and tell everybody."

she nodded, wipping off her eyes.

We got up there, i got the mic off the DJ.

"hey everybody." I said "i want to thank everybody for coming out and sharing this
day with me but, I something esle to tell you me and Brittanu are..." I looked at
Brittany . she smiled "are getting married." I smiled everyone started clapping. i
saw Max hug Brittany. i put the mic down . my dad hugged me. I made my way to
brittany I saw mom hugging her.

"Sidney" my mom said, and hugged me. then I grabbed Brittany, i put are arm around
her, and she put her arms around me. she smiled up at me. I tighten my girp around
her.
