Chapter 76

The next morning the cup was gone. i got woke up by Brittany shaking me.

"Sid"

"what?" i asked rubbing my eyes.

"why didn't you tell me, this said this."

"oh, you finally found that. I want see how long it took you." I said, on the inside
of the band said 'love you beautiful'

"love you handsome" she said. i smiled. she kissed me.

We went downstairs, made breakfast, we were eating.

"when are you going to tell you parents"

"you forgot?"

"yeah"

"are you going to call them?"

"I don't want to do it over the phone. "

"why not?"

"because that not something you call up your parents and say hey mom, dad guess
what, i got engaged last" I said putting my fingers up to my ear like a phone.

Sid laughed, I smiled.

"are you going to tell them when you get back?"

"can we do it when you come back/"

"sure."

All day we spent it together, we went out to lunch, and spent the day outside. i
cooked dinner.

The next morning, i went downstairs. Sid was on the phone. i smiled at him, and sat
at the counter. he put his hand on my shoulder, rubbing it.

"yeah, i think we can make it." he said "okay, bye" then hung up.

"morning beautiful"

"morning, handsome" I said "where we going?" I asked

"Nanny wants us to come over for lunch today."

"okay"

"Okay, i'm going to get shower." he said

"really?" I asked standing up, and putting my hand on his chest.

"i'm thinking you want to join." he said

"why, not?"

"come on." he kissed me, and leaded me upstairs. we got to the bathroom. He put his
arms around me kissed my neck, i laughed and he shut the door.

We got to he's grandmothers, she hugged sid.

"hello, Miss. Crosby" I said

"no, call me Nanny, your apart of the family" she hugged me

We went in the dining room, and sat down.

"i'm just so happy, that he getting married, that you two are."

I smiled and looked at Sidney, he put his hand on my knee.

"were you susprize?" She asked me.

"oh, yes I had no idea." i said "but he was acting kinda werid all week and I didn't
think anything of it."

"i'll get the food." she said

"i'll help" I said getting up.

"no, sweetie......Sidney come help me." she said

"but she --"

"go" I said

"okay"

Sid's POV

I walked in the kitchen.

"okay, what do I get?"

"I like her, Sidney"

"thanks"

"and i love to see you so happy"

"but, i do have a question"

"what is it?"

"she hasn't told her parents yet, she wants to wait until i'm back, so we go
together."

"yeah"

"well, she hasn't told them, she waiting, should I be worried, maybe she doesn't
want to tell them."

"I don't think thats it, she just wants you there, with her." she said "ask her."

"okay"

"lets get back there."

We walked back in there, after we were done, we were leaveing.

"Sidney, when are you leaveing?" she asked

"in about a week in a half, i;ll come see before I leave."

"are you leaveing with him?" she asked her.

"no, i'm leaveing in two day."

"well i'll see you."

"yeah, thanks for lunch it was geart."

"anytime"

"thanks" I hugged her "nanny"

"bye, miss--" Brittany Said

"uh no"

"bye, nanny" she said

"thats better" nanny hugged her.

we were on our way back home.

"she likes you" I said

She smiled.

"Britt"

"huh?"

"why.......why haven't you told your parents?"

"I told you I want to wait so we can go together. "

"okay, but not because you don't want to tell them." I said turning onto the road
where the house is.

"no, Sidney i just rather have you there."

"its just most girls, call her mom right away."

"well, i'm not like most girls."

"true." I said parking the car.

The next day, she was standing at the door.

"what are you doing?" I asked

"thinking"

"about what?" I asked wrapping my arms around her.

"the wedding"

"already"

"they say start early."

"well are you thinking?"

"I want it here."

"what?"

"unless you don't want to, but I want it here, at the house."

"no, it fine, I just thought you would want it in pittsburgh."

"I want it here."

"thats fine, but don't you think we need to figure out when?"

"yeah" she said, then I let go of her and got my phone out of my pocket.

"next year?" i asked

"yes" she smiled

"fall, spring, winter summer?"

"well I thought summer, you that good."

"perfect"

"what month?" she asked me.

I scolled to july in my phone.

"July 17?" I asked she looked at me.

"yes"

"well, thats it July 17, 2010 you will become Miss. Sidney Crosby." I said. she
kissed me.
