Chapter 74
The next morning, i was sitting on the couch waiting for sid. A little bit later , he walked in the apartment.

"hey, hotstuff"

"hey, beautiful" he said, and sat down in the chair.

"you had fun last night."

"yeah, i did" he said "did you have fun?"

"yeah, i had a great time."

"i'm going get a shower."

"okay" he stood up and started walking towards the bedroom.

"are you lumping?"

"yeah"

"do you need any help?"

"no, i'll be good."

The next fews days went by the guys had partys, and parade, and enjoying the cup
together.

Then teh couple weeks later, Sid went home to Nova Soctia.

Couple months later, and a week before his got the cup. his was getting on his
birthday. i was in Nova Soctia. We were at his house. his parents jsut got here.

"Mom, i got to go pick something up?"

"Okay, will be here when you get back."

"i'll go with you." i said

"no"

"okay" I said sitting back down.

"i mean, it not going to take that long."

"okay"

He was gone for a long time. Weh he got home, he run right upstairs, later that
night when we went to bed. I was lying in bed, he got in and happend his arm around
me.

"Sid"

"yeah?"

"what did you have to get today?"

"oh, it's nothing"

"your not going to tell me are you?"

"nope"

"Okay" I laughed, rolled over and gave him a kiss then I put my hand on his chest.

"i'm not going to change me mind."

"really?"

"really." he said "but i like where this is going." he turned me over on my back. i
laughed.

A week later, it was the day Sid got the cup we were up at six in the morning.

"are you sure you don't want to come on the helicoper with us?" Sid asked

"i'm positive" I said "I'll meet you there, i'll go with your mom and taylor."

"okay"

"oh Happy Birthday"

"thanks"

We met him, his Dad and Max. After the mailitary, then we went to the childern
hospital. All the kids were cheering for him, He went around to all the kids, they
were so happy to see him. He loved to see them. Then it was time for the parade. i
sat in a car with taylor, then in the next car the his grandmothers, then his
parents the max with the price of whales. Then lasts was Sidney in this bid old fire truck, with the stanley cup. At the end of the parade/ He got up on stage he tanked his fans.

"Some poeple that are here, and that have been here for Max Talbot he been and great teammate and a great friend." Max run up there with him. Sid laughed.

"I love cole houbor." Max yelled i laughed.

"and my girlfriend Brittany, she been right there for everything for the last almost
two years." he said looking at me, he winked. I smiled.

"and also my two grandmothers and mom, dad, and taylor thanks for being there for
me , and all of them early morning pactices, and everything."

After he was done on stage he walked over to us, i put my hand on his shoulder. He
put his hand on the small of my back.

"i love you" I said

"i love you too" he said "I gotts go get ready."

"okay, Good luck"

"thanks babe" he smiled

I giggled. he went to go get ready for the street hockey game with his buddys.

Me , his parents, and his sister, watched along the fince with a couple other of his
family member. He played goalie.

After the game, and later the night. we were at the dock on a boat, poeple were
talking pictures with the cup and sid. I was talking to his mom.

"Britt" sid said

"yeah"

"let take a picture."

"kay"

"mom can you?" he asked

"Sure" we walked up to the cup he whisper in my ear.

"I didn't forget about you?"

"i know you didn't, your having fun."

"but i haven't talk to you all night." he said

"i know, it's okay"

"are you...having fun?" he asked

"yeah"

We took a few pictures, Later when we were home, we were getting ready for bed.

"that is not lying on the bed with us." I told sid.

"why not?" he asked smiling.

"because i just want you in bed."

he laughed "it wasn't going in the bed."

"okay" i smiled.
