We took off our coats.

"hi baby" my mom said

"mom this is Sidney, Sidney this is my mom Karen"

"Hello Miss Taylor" he said

"its nice to meet you, and please call me Karen." she said hugging him.

"okay"

"hi" my dad said behind me.

"hi dad, dad I would like you to meet Sidney, Sidney this my dad Dan."

"hello Mr. Taylor" he said shaking his hand

"nice to meet you, you got skills on that ice."

"thank you sir."

"oh my god" Aimee said. I looked at her, and grinned

"Sidney this is my sister Aimee" I said grabbing his arm. "and Aimee is Sidney boyfriend"

"So really do have a boyfriend?" she said

"yes I do, like I told you I did." I said getting mad.

"I have a question, why didn't you believe me."

"Brittany" my mom said

"why?"

"Because you haven't had a boyfriend, since you know when."

"shut up" I said moving towards her.

"okay girls" my mo said coming between us, Sidney grabbed my arm, pulled me back Aimee went upstairs.

"hey everyone." my brother said coming
in the house.

I looked back at him with a mean, look.

"why do you look so pissed off?"

"what do you think?"

"oh what she do now?" he said coming up to me. He looked who was standing next to me, he did a double take.

"Dude, your Sidney Crosby."

"yeah"

"I'm Adam, I'm a huge fan."

"thanks man"

"what are you doing here?" he asked looking at me.

I laughed

"he's with me." I said

"really?"

I nodded.

Around 2:00 we all were sitting in the living room, minus Aimee. Me and Sidney were sitting on the couch. My hand was on his lap and his hand was on my hand. Adam was sitting on the other side of me.

"he treating you okay?"

"yes"

"I'm going to check on dinner" my mom said

"I'll help" I said


SID'S POV

I was having a great time with Brittany's family. Brittany went to help her mother.

"we weren't sure if you coming" he father said

"why?"

"because Karen had to call Brittany a couple time, to see if she asked you."

"she didn't want me to come or something."

"i don't know"

"but there is something i want to tell you." Adam said

"what?"

"you better treat her right."

"I will, I promise. I really like your sister."

"she hasn't had alot of Boyfriends, and she problem opening up to people if you haven't noticed."

"I've noticed"

"So you got to be patient with her you can't force her to do anything she doesn't want to do."

"trust me, I don't plan on doing anything with her, if she doesn't want to. I really care about her."

"thanks man, Just don't let anything happend to her."

"I won't"

I went out to the kitchen, to see Brittany and her mom were sitting at the table.

"hey" Brittany said

"hey"

"can I talk yo you...alone" I whisper in her ear.

she nodded, she grabbed my hand and took me into a back room.

"what wrong?" asked

"I was talking to you dad and brother"

"yeah" she looked at me worried

"and your brother is very protect."

"I told you" she wrapped her around me. "what's up" she asked

"your dad told me your mom had to ask you a couple times to ask me to come."

"he did."

"you didn;t want me to come." I said, she let go of me.

"no I wanted you to, its just."

"what, what is it Brittany."

"meeting a family is a big step, Sidney"

"I know, but how else are you going to move on with relationship.

"I know Sid, its just hard."

"why is it hard, I don't want to push you its just." i turned around,

"when I was 17."

"what" I turned back around, she had a sad look on her face.
