Chapter 54
Britt's POV
The day Sidney was leaving. I haven't stop thinking about him. Vero came over.
"Can I ask you something?"
"yeah"
"do you love him?"
I nodded "yeah"
"do you think he loves you?"
"yeah"
"do you really think he would do something like that?"
"thats one of the things i've been thinking about, no i don't."
"do you turly love him?"
"yes"
"then get to that airport before it to late, most likely when you see him again it
will ne at the end of the summer. and who knows he will be with, if he is with
anybody."
"how do you know he is at the airport?"
"marc, talk to him today and i asked him to ask sid when he was catching his plane."
"so you have a plan."
"yeah"
I looked at my keys.
"go tell him" she said "go Brittany"
I got up put on my shoes on and grabbed my keys.
I drove to the airport. i parked my car, got out and run in. there was a hell of a
lot of people. how i'm i going to find him. i stood on top of the bench. I couldn't
find him. then I find him walking with him back towards me with his bag on his shoulder.
I jumped off the bench started running.
"excuse me, excuse me, Okay that its move, move."
"where's he go" i said to myself the I saw him.
"Sid" I wishper. I was going to do this and he might kill me.
"Sidney!!!" I yelled
People stared at me . Sid turned around. his eyes got big. I run after him,
"Sidney.. Sid..Sid." i said tears coming down my face. I grabbed his arm.
"Brittany" he moved us over to th side. his eyes glazed over.
I put my hands on the side of his face. "i love you"
"Britt, I have to tell you she kissed me. I would never hurt like that. I would
never hurt you at all. I love you and I will alway love you." he wipped teh tears from my cheeks.
"Sidney...Sid...sid...sid" people started yelling.
"you really had to yell my name?"
"I didn't want you to get any futher."
he smiled.
"will you go bacj to being my girlfriend?"
"the question is will you go back to being my boyfriend?"
"yes" he said. I smiled. He kissed me. the best kiss I ever had. we broke apart. he
looked at me.
" i love you"

"now lets gets back to your place."
"what about your plane?"
"I'll just tell my parents i'm coming next week."
"are you sure?"
"yeah, I want to be with you right now."
I hugged him.
We made our way back to my place. we walked in.
"Vero, your still here?"
"yeah, i want to see what happen but I can see." she said looking at sid.
"you guys okay now?"
"yeah" I said looking at sidney .
She was walking out i turned to her. "thank you"
"anytime."
The last week went great me and Sidney talked and spent, time together. I put the shirt on an dmy hair up into a ponytail.

I saw Sid and Nikki kissing Sidney pushed Nikki away and looked at me.
"Brittany"
"no.....no" I turned arouind and walked throught the crowed of people. i could feel the tears coming to my eyes started walking faster. I walk past Vero.
"Britt"
"Brittany" sid yelled
I got outside, now tears falling out of my eyes.
"Britt" he said
"what" I yelled turning around.
"it's not what you think"
"oh really"
"yeah really"
"you were kissing her." i yelled

"it didn't look that way."
"well, it was"
"how could you?"
"i didn't"
"i saw it sidney"

we even got together. i remember that day like it was yetesday, tears start to go
down my cheek. it all smelled like him. i missed him so much. it hurt.
Around three there was a knock at the door.
"hey"
"hey Marc, Vero."
"there his stuff"
"how you doing?" V asked

Marc picked up the box.
"wait" i said. I went into my room. i grabbed the bracelace and necklace. He gave me. I went back in the living room, and put them in the box.

We got to my place.
"so are you staying the night?" I asked
He gave me a grin. "what the hell."
He jumped out of the car. i closed the door. He stood in front of me. i smiled.
"hold on" he said, and locked the his car. I laughed. Then started to run to the door.
"no, you don't " Sid said grabbing me and swigging me around I laughed.
"put me down" he did i stood in front of him, with my back towards my apartment.
"so" he said taking a step towards me.
"so, what?" he kept taking steps towards me.
"this" he kissed me kept kissing. then I felt my back against the door.
"keys" Sid said in between kisses. I went in my pocket grabbed my keys. I put them in his hand then I put my arms around his neck. He opened the door, put his hands on my hips and walked through the door. shut the door with her foot. I locked the door. I pushed him against the door i looked at him took his hat off that he was trying to keep on the while time. he smiled. I grabbed the end of his shirt and pulled it over his head, and through it, next to hinm. i run my hands along his chest. he put his hands under the back of my shirt. we started to the bedroom. he took off my shirt. he lefted me up. I wrapped my legs around him. he walked into the bedroom, he putted me down on my feet. i buttoned his pants. i pushed on on his chest.
"hold on" he said and walked over to the night stand, then turned around.
"are you ready?" I asked
"are you?" he asked.
I pushed him on the bed.
The next morning i woke up, i rolled over my face pressed into Sidney chest.
"Britt" Sidney said
"yeah" i said
"I just wanted to know if you were up"
"I am"I wrapped my arm arounf him. He wrapped his arms around me. We just laid there
for a while. then he got upputting the covers around his waist, and I got up and put the sheets around mee. he started picking up jis clothes. I walked out into the living room. i start picked up mine and his clothes he came out of the bedroom.
"this is the first time, we've had clothes all over the place."
"yeah" he laughed
"i'm gonna get a shower."

The day of max's party.

"how was it at the arena?" dad asked me.
"it was good, still a little depressing"
"I bet" he said
"I like Brittany" Tay said
"you do?"
"yeah, she's pretty, and she doesn't seem like a girly girl."
"oh, trust the she not." i laughed
"are you and her serious abojut eachother?" mom asked
"i'm about her, i think i have brought her out of her shell so much, since i met her. Mom wjen i firat met her, she wouldn't look me in the eyes."
"how did you meet her?" tay asked
"at the beach last summer when I went with the guys. we were playing volleyball, and I hit the ball ant it went backwards, and it hit her, and it made her water go everywhere."
"oh Sidney" Mom said
"i know, i felt so bad then later the day. i run into her and she almost fell."
"but you didn't let her fell." dad said
"no, i didn't"
"so, how do think she feels about you?"
"the same, with the past she has i'm glad, she let me in and told me thing told anybody."
"Could she be the one?"

the front seat. i got in and looked at sidney. He was stareing at me.

Chapter 50
Sorry it took so long. but here it is chapter 50!!!! please comment.
We walked out of the arena, we kissed eachother and went to our cars. When I got home I could not stop thinking about sidney, I was so worried about him, I watched some TV for a little bit. But I still couldn't stop thinking about him. So I grabbed my keys I drove intil I got to mario's place hoping people were still up, there were light on but I was nervous. I came for Sidney. I parked my car, got out and walked up to the door, and knocked on it. Mario answer it.
"Brittany?"
"Hi, i know it's late but is Sidney here"
he smiled and Sidney "yeah, he's up in his room I think He'll be happy to see you."
"thanks"
I walked in and went to his room. All the lights were off in his wing I opened the door to his room. I saw him in bed.
"Sidney" I wishper
"huh?" he mummlbed I kicked my shoes off and lifted up the covers ans slild in with him. He was laying on his side. i put my hand around him, and grabbed his hand.
"Brittany?" he wishper
"yeah" I wishper back. He turned around and kissed me.
"I know, you mostly want to be alone but i'm worried, about you."
"no babe, it's okay, I'm glad your here."
He put his arms around me, and pressed are bodies against eachother, and fell asleep.
Sid's POV
I woke up the next morning, I felted better still couldn't believe teh season was over. Brittany was still sleeping. I was standing up, getting out of bed. When my door flew open.
"Sidney" my mom said
"shhh" I said "Brittany still sleeping"
"sorry"

I woke up I didn't relize were I was at first, but when I did I got up went to the bathroom. i grbbed my shoed, and walked downstairs, When I came down, Sid, Taylor, and his parents were down there.

We walked out of the arena, we kissed eachother and went to our cars. When I got home I could not stop thinking about sidney, I was so worried about him, I watched some TV for a little bit. But I still couldn't stop thinking about him. So I grabbed my keys I drove intil I got to mario's place hoping people were still up, there were light on but I was nervous. I came for Sidney. I parked my car, got out and walked up to the door, and knocked on it. Mario answer it.
"Brittany?"
"Hi, i know it's late but is Sidney here"
he smiled and Sidney "yeah, he's up in his room I think He'll be happy to see you."

I walked in and went to his room. All the lights were off in his wing I opened the door to his room. I saw him in bed.

He put his arms around me, and pressed are bodies against eachother, and fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning, I felted better still couldn't believe teh season was over. Brittany was still sleeping. I was standing up, getting out of bed. When my door flew open.

Chapter 49
I'm so sorry it been so long, school been crazy and Christmas is coming. But when Christmas brake comes i will update alot more. so here it is Chapter 49. Comment please.
The next morning I woke like any other morning. Went to work. Around three, I got off, and text Sidney.
"Good Luck =)"
"Thanks Babe ;)"
I got home, got a shower and got dressed and made my way up to the arena. When I got there I made my way to the box where his parents and his sister were.
"Hi, Brittany" his mom said
"hi how are you?"
"good, how are you, we heard what happened"
"I'm good now"
"Hello" Troy said
"Hi"
"well that's good" she said
"Sidney was really helpful with all that."
"he cares about you"
"yea--"
"Hi, I'm Taylor you must be Brittany."
"Hi, its great to finally meet you."
"Really?"
"Yeah, Sidney talks about you all the time, he said that you really wanted to meet me."
"Yeah, I wanted to see if he really had a girlfriend, and say it's about time."
I laughed.
In the first period Detroit, scored a power play goal. Then in the second period Detroit scored again, then Geno scored a power play goal Sid and Hossa got the assits, then in the third Detroit got another goal. then Marian Hossa gets a power play goal, assited by Gonchar and Geno. the last play of the game with shot the puck and it slide right along the goal line, and it didn't go in. They lost the game 3-2.
After the game was over, his parents, Taylor and I went to the lounge, When he was done with media, His parents went to go see him. i waited til they were done to go see him. As I waited in the lounge. i felt so bad for him, He wanted this so bad. I was thinking about what would say to him. Then his parents came out of the locker room. his mom gave me a little quick smile. Then I walked into the locker room. there was some media in there but it was still very quiet. the I seen Sid sitting in his stall still fully dress, skates and all, and hat. With his head down. I walked over to him and sat down next to him. He didn't look at me. I didn't what to say. To let him know I was there. I locked my arm with his and interwinded our hands. He sreezed my hand tight then kissed it.
"We almost did it, we were so close." He said I could tell that he was holding back tears. I could only imagin what he was feeling. His dream was out on that they'll ice, and a different teamm, and a different group of guys were out there carring it around, on their ice.

Two Days Later
Me and Jessica went to the game together. They won the series four games to one.
The series is against the flyers. On one of there days off me, Jess, Sid, and Max had dinner. We were sitting around the table.
"hopefully this time were all together no one will leave in tears like last time." Jessica Said
"Jess" I said
"What that supposed to mean?"
"It's means--"
"Both of you stop it." I said "why is it every time you two are in a room together you two either don't talk or your at each other throat." I said looking back and froth between Sidney and Jessica.
"I just don't like him"
"why?" I asked
"I don't know, just the way he is."
"Why thank you" Sid Said
"Sid" I said "what you don't like her either?"
"No, I don't, She got smart ass comments all the time."
"Jessica, I thought you liked him."
"I like him for you, i like the way he treats you, but him as a person. I don't like him."
"Why and when did this start?"
"I just don't, and since you two started dating."
"Well, all I have to say when your around each other, don't talk to each other."
"well, that's what I 've been trying to do but-"
"Sidney"
"Okay, I'm done."
"Oh my go-"

Sidney took me home. We walked into my apartment.
"I can't believe you and Jessica hate each other." I said throwing my keys on the counter. He didn;t say anything at first.
"I'm sorry"

"I know Jessica your Best friend and all but--"
"Oh, don't worry about it, there so many times Jessica has boyfriend that I haven't liked and she blows me off." I said "anyways are you staying here or what?"
"Are you trying to get rid of me." He said getting really close to me.
"No, I just wanted to know."
"But no really, I got to get going."
I laughed "Okay"
"I love you" He said putting his hands on my waist.
"I love you more" i said putting my arms around his neck.
"That's no possible."
I smiled, He kissed me.

The next day, I watched Sid take a picture with the prince of whales trophy. After they all went into the locker room. We made our way down there. After Sid was done with the media. I went up to him.
"You guys did it. Your going to the Stanley Cup Finals"
"Yes we are Baby" I laughed and kissed him.
They were playing Detroit in the finals, you could tell Sid was getting nervous but a little happy for this, he is playing for something that he dreamed about his whole life. but now they are down two games, and Sid was getting really worried, but he still thinks they can do this. In game three they won. Then Detiot won game four. In game five Pittsburgh won 4-3 in three overtimes. And now the night before game six. Sid came over, if they didn't win this game Detroit was going to win the Stanley Cup.
Sid was sitting on the couch, not saying anything.
"here baby" I handed him a drink
"thanks"
"you okay?" I asked sitting down next to him, putting my hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah, just thinking about tomorrow" He said, then his phone, He looked at it.
"it's my mom" i nodded, he answer it, and kitchen talking. A little later, he walked back into the living room. Putting his phone in his packet.

Few weeks later
Playoffs were starting. I was doing a lot better. Me and Sidney are great. i still didn't have a job until now.
I got a job in the city not that far from were i live at a little cafe, that pays really good.
Half way through the next series against the rangers. Sid got a day off He come over.
"I feel like I haven't seen you forever." I said to him.
"I know playoffs have been crazy"
"but it wroth it."
"if we win in the end."
"i think you guys have a really good shot."
"thanks babe." he kissed me then looked at me, i kissed him, and put my hand on his face, and laughed when he went for another kiss.

"your facial hair."
"i know it's horrible everybody already told me."

"yeah" I said he started rubbing his face on mine and tickling me. I was laughing he started to laugh. I was lying on the couch and his was on top of me, tickling me.

"Okay thanks" I signed then got dressed and Adam took mr home.
I text Sid when I got home.

I went to the Kitchen
"Adam, do you went something to eat?"
"I don't think so" he said grabbing my waist and moving me in the living room. "take it easy and relax."
"hey" said said coming in the door.

"she wants to cook dinner"
"we'll cook dinner" Sid said
I sat on the couch.
"we'll cook, you mean we'll pick up a phone and press some buttons" Adam said
"We'll I can cook but, yeah." Sid laughed, they walked into the kitchen, and lefted me on the couch. I got up and went into the kitchen.
"hey" i said to Sid
"hey, what are you doing?"
"I wanted to say hey, and do this." I kissed him
"come on, you two" Adam Said
"Oh, all I did was gave him a peck."
"but still." he laughed
"so anywhere, what did you guys order."

I laughed
The next night I went to Sid's game with Adam. Sidney thought it would be a good idea if he came with me. We went up were Vero was.
"hey, V"
"Britt, how are you doing?" she hugged me.
"I'm doing good"

Penguins won 7-1 after the game, and after seeing Sidney. Adam went home and Sid took me home.
"are you sure your okay by yourself tonight?" Sid asked

He lefted, it's the first time. I've been alone in weeks.
He'll be gone gone for a week and a half.
About three days later, There was a knock at the door. I opened the door.
"you don't even ask who is it, before you open it."

"your going to your doctor appoiment?" mom asked
"yes, I had one yesterday."
"what did he say?"
"everything looks good, i could be back to work in two weeks."

"yeah" mom said "so we were in the city, to do some stuff we wanted to know if you want to go to dinner."

We went to the restaurant bar place sat there and ate, and my dad went to the bathroom.
"so you and Sidney?" mom asked
"yeah, what about us?"
"could this boy be the one?"
"i think, so"
"so was he your first?"
"mom" I was shocked
"mom need to know these things"

"I just want to know if your being safe."

The day Sidney got back, we were meeting for lunch. I came into the restaurant, Sid was waiting at a table.
"hey babe" I said, and he stood up and hugging each other, and sat down.
"when did you start driving again?"
"well hello to you too"
"sorry hi, your moving a lot better" he reach across the table and gave me a kiss.
"about two days ago, yeah i am, and I'm sorry being late i was on the with my boss, and your never gonna believe this."
"what?"
"I loss my job"
"what? how?"
"what I was out they hired a new girl and didn't tell her that i would back so they fired me."
"I don't know how they could fired you but you can get a better job."
"how with no college degree."
"why didn't you ever go to college."

Chapter 45
Sid's POV
After practice was over, I went right back to then hospital
When I got there Britt was still out. Her mom told me that she went to get some stuff. I Bent over and kissed Brittany forehead.
"please baby wake up." I said into her forehead, "I want to see those beautiful blue eyes again."
I sat down in a chair next to her bed, and turned on the TV i was talking to her like she was awake, hoping she could hear me. A few nurses came in check on her, they didn't say anything.
"sorry, I had to call Dan, and everybody, anything?"
I shook my head "no" and looked at Brittany.
"her brother coming over tomorrow."
I nodded
a couple hours later
"I'm going to get something to drink, do you want anything?"
"no thanks, I'm good."
She nodded and went out of the room.
Britt's Pov
I carefully opened my eyes, not knowing where I am, or what I'm doing. I looked over, and I saw Sidney was sitting next to me. I lift my hand to put it on his, which was on the edge of the bed.
"Sidney" someone gasped his name. he jumped up, when he did he hit my hand. I watched his every mover, he looked down at me.
"Brittany!" he kissed my forehead.
"what happened?" I asked
"you passed out, don't you remember."
"the last thing I remember is I was on the phone with someone."
"me" i looked over and seen my mom.
"mom"
"yeah, your going to be fine." mom said
"I do remember you yelling my name." I said to Sidney
"I'm going to get the doctor." mom said
"you scared me again" Sid said
"sorry"
"it's okay"
"your gonna be okay"
"did you bring me to the hospital?"
"yeah"
"what would I do without you?"
"i love you Brittany"
"i love you too"
few minutes
"so when can I go home?"
"I want to keep you over night but tomorrow."

"Sidney, do you mind if I talk to Brittany alone." mom said

"what would you do without him?"

"I'm just glad you found someone who is good gor you."
"me too, i think that what i need, someone to start bringing, me out of my shell." I said "then all this happened, he doesn't need this, and he could do so much better then me."
"if her want someone else, I don't think he would stay here with you."

"well anyways tomorrow your brother coming by then were taking you home."

The Next morning I woke up, and rolled over Brittany wasn't in bed. I got up. She was sitting on the couch wrapped in a blanket, watching TV. I went to laid on the couch, then she pulled the blankets back, I climbed in with her. She took my arms and wrapped them around her. She kissed the top of my head.
"how'd you sleep?"
"good, you?"
"Okay, I tossed and turned a little."
"yeah"
"did I woke you up?"
"no"
Britt's POV
We were just lying there. I felt like crap I didn't want him to know that though. I had a headache, I was tired. I was really, really sore. I was running my fingers though his hair. When my phone rang. I got up and look at it.
"who is it?" Sid asked
"my mother"
"you better answer that" he said
I took a deep breath
"hello"
"where are you, are you Okay?"
"mom, I'm fine"
"why do you sound so tired?"
"oh, i don't know maybe because it's 8 in the morning."

"I don't know, but I think I'm just going to get my stuff and come back here."

I waited for about an hour, then the doctor came out.
"are you Mr. Crosby, who brought Brittany in?"
"yes, is she okay?" When I asked, her mom was coming up the hallway.
"hello I'm Brittany's mom, how is she?" she asked
"Okay, she's still unconscious, but has she been light headed, or been under any stress"
"no not that I know of." Anne said
I put my head "yes"
"sorry?"
"she been feeling light headed, when we were walking out of the arena last night, and she got light headed she said it been happening a lot lately and I think she been under stress because people keep trying yo help her and she doesn't want it, and all she wants to do is come back to her place."
"that explains it" the doctors said
"but, she going to be okay" I asked
"yes, she gonna be fine."
"can we see her?" Anne asked
"yes, she the third door on the right"

Brittany went into her room, to get ready to get a shower. I am really worried about her. her getting light headed like that. I went into her room her. room her back wa towards me. She had her shirt in her hand, When she heard me come in. She put her hands, and the shirt around he stomach, and sides, As she was hiding something. I was thinking it was busies. I walked up behind her.

"Brittany" she walked out of the room into the bathroom.
I walk out of her room. I heard the water turn on. I don't know who's taking this harder me or her. I hate seeing her like this. She barely talks to me anymore unless its about hockey Its like were back to square one.
I walked into the bathroom, slowly shut the door behind me. I took my clothes off and got into the shower with her. Her hands stopped as there were going though her hair.
"it's me, babe" her hands start to go to her stomach.
"please don't" I grabbed her arms as water run down our bodies. i looked down to her side, there were busies all the way up her side. i run my fingers up her side. I run my fingers up her side. She jumped a little."sorry" she tiled her head little. I kissed her neck, she turned around, put her arms around me. I couldn't bring myself to really touch her. I put my hands lightly around her upper back. She put her hands on my chest.
When we were done I got out put a towel around me, she got I handed her a towel and she put it around her.
"you feel better, after a long shower."

We went into her room and got changed.

We were walkin g out to his car he grabbed hold of my hand. We got to the passager door, he let go of my hand I went to open the door he put his hand on mine. I looked at him, He run his fingers down the side of my face.
"the busies all clearing up nicely" he siad
"they still there."
"but you look more beautiful as ever."
I did a small smile, kissed me on the cheek, Then he opened the door for me, I got in.
"you Okay?"
"yeah."he went around got in the driver seat.
"do you want to get some luch?"
"yeah, but do you think we can go somewhere quiet."

We went to this cafe, there was like two other people in there. we order, and we were eating.

After dinner everyone went to bed but me. I went in the living room, pulled out my phone to call Sidney. i called him, but he didn't pick up. It was odd he always picks up. I just left it, and turned on the TV. About Five minutes later my phone rang.

"no. i was in the shower, are you okay?"

"I'm feeling Okay, I'm sore, and no i didn't get any sleep i can't get comfortable, It hurts to lay down."

Later the doctor checked on me again gave me a slip to get some medication. I got checked out They wheeled me out to the car. i slowly got into the car. I went home and packed my begs. We were getting ready to leave.
"Mom, Dad, do you think we can go to the arena, So I can see him before I leave?"

We got to the arena, I was walking down the stand making sure I didn't fall. Then I heard clapping, I look down at the ice, All the guys were clapping. I smiled, out my head down, and when I got to the bottom Sidney was there.
"what are you doing here?"
"I wanted to see you before I lefted." I said "Sidney, I don't wan to go home."

"I'll be fine by myself"
"no you won't be, Brittany, you can barely walk."
I rolled my eyes, and took a deep breath.

I got a little sleep last night. I just laid in bed with my eye close. I was in so much pain, every time. I move or breathe.
After hours of just lying there, I picked up my head, and looked at the clock it was 6:00 am I looked over at Sidney, who was lying on the couch with his back towards m. I put my head back down and I fall asleep for like an hour.
I got up at like 7:00am. I got up really slowly trying not to move my mid section to much. I looked over at the couch. Sid was gone my mom walked in the room.
“hey sweet heart.”
“hi mom”
“how‘d you sleep?” she asked
“not good, I only got like a hour of sleep.”
“maybe tonight, you‘ll get some sleep.”
“I hope” I said “mom? Where‘d Sidney go.”
“he still here, I think he went to just a cup of coffee.”

“Sidney, what did I tell you to call me?”

When I got there, I called her parents. I was going nuts, i was walking back and froth.

When I got there, I called her parents. I was going nuts, i was walking back and froth.

He covered my mouth again. I screamed into his hand and bit him. he moved his hand.
"bitch" I took off running. but he grabbed me, and throw me up against the wall by my neck.

"let go" he started to unbutton my shirt. I hit him, and kept pushing him away. i tarted to cry.
"Stop it" I said he punch me across the face. I fall to the ground.

"now" he kicked me and then again. I stayed there, trying to catch my breath.
"fine, you want it that way" he said getting on the ground, gabbing me to put me up straight. i screamed when he touch me.

"shut up" he hit. I was crying my eyes out.

"I said shut up" he said slapping her, that when I grabbed him by the shirt off of her. i slammed him into a wall.
"what the hell is wrong with you?" I yelled
I looked down at Brittany who was trying to lift her head and open her eyes, it broke my heart to see her like that. the I looked at him, the back at her, then back at him.
"your kyle" he nodded I punch him, again, and again
"hows it feel to get punched by someone bigger than you huh?" he punched me then i punched him. I kept punching him when someone grabbed my arm and Geno and Jordan held Kyle back.

When the game was over. We went to the locker room. Vero went up to find Marc, I just was standing there looking losted, thinking what should I do, maybe I should just leave. I turned around, I stood there still not knowing what to do. When I felt someone grab my shoulder. i turned around. It was Sid.

Chapter 35
Sid’s POV
I went to the rink, after I left the café. The last thing wanted to do was fight with Brittany, but she could have been hurt, if it was him, and if she can’t tell me something that important, how are we supposed to be together. I am mad at her.
I was shooting pucks, skating around, I could be back in the game in a week. I was doing laps trying to get my mind off of Brittany, but it wasn’t working. I turned the bends when I saw Max coming out of the locker room.
“hey” he said
“hey, how‘d you know I was here.”
“you were upset, I kinda though you‘d be shooting pucks”
“I‘m not upset”
“yeah, right”
“did you talk to her?”
“no, but I saw her, she was crying.”
I didn’t want her to cry, but how could she not tell me.
“dude, I don‘t know who this Kyle dude is but I don’t think she would have cheated on you.”
“what! You think she cheated on me, no dude no it was something else…. I can’t tell you.”

“where is she now?”
“her place, you going to see her?”

Here was a game that night I went. I asked Brittany to came earlier that day. I kinda figured she wouldn’t come , but I didn’t blame her. Then heard I light knock. I looked at the doorway. Brittany was standing there. You could tell she been crying. I waved for her to come in. She sat down next to me. I was still upset with her, but I do love her.
“Sidney, I‘m sor--”

“I don’t‘ want to talk about it right now.”
“Then when”
“I don‘t know, but not now”
We sat there the whole game, we barely talked when the game was over, we just stood there.
“I should get going” she said

I got home I couldn’t stop thinking about Sidney. I get why he’s mad at me, but we sat through that whole game, not even talking, and it took me everything to go.
That night I hardly got any sleep. I was tossing , and turning.
Two days later, Sidney was in his first game back. He did text me the day before. That all we heard from each other. I sent him a text before a game like I’ve been doing for months I said good luck all he said was “thanks”, he always say “thank babe”.
I sat at home, and watched the game by myself.
A week later, we were still barely talking, and its killing me. I haven’y seen him in days. Tonight was a home game, and I’m going I was sitting with Vero.
“you and Sidney talking yet?”
“no…………I don‘t know what I‘m even doing here.”
“well you love him, he’s your boyfriend”
“but we haven‘t talked in a week”
“you guys are gonna be fine.”
The team got on the ice. Sidney looked up at us. He waved, I waved back.

Two weeks later me and Vero went to the mall to do some shopping.

The next morning, I woke up to Brittany mumbling something into my chest.

"then today I was thinking to the rink, to try some skating, do you want to come?"

I took her home so she could get ready for work.
Sid's POV
The next morning, I woke up to Brittany mumbling something into my chest.
"what?" I mumbled
"nothing" she said into my chest "I'm so cold" she said pressing her face into my chest. I grabbed the covers and covered her back up and put my arms around her.
"I can't go back to sleep" she said

We just laid there talking about anything.
"how did the doctors go?"
"oh, good he said I could be on the ice with in a week."
"that great Sid"
"I know i was thinking, do you work today?"
"yeah the late shift again."
"then today I was thinking to the rink, to try some skating, do you want to come?"
"yeah"
"okay, we need to leave okay."
"okay" we got up we were getting dress.
"oh, Brittany"
"yeah?" she turned around
"Happy Valentines Day" I grabbed her, and kissed her. she laughed.
"your forgot, huh?"
"I didn't forget." I gave her a look
"okay, maybe i forgot, happy valentines day." she laughed. i kissed her.
When we got to the arena. I got all geared up. i came out Brittany was sitting on the bench.
"how's it feel?"
"pretty good" I was shooting pucks.I went to the runway opened the door, and grabbed a pair of skates.
"what are them for?"

"I'm going to make a fool of myself."
"no your not, it's just going to be me and you out there."

"oh come on let me put these on you."
"okay" i put them on her. we both got on the ice, she was holding on to both of my hands. she almost fell. I put a arm around her to hold her up.
"I gotcha" I said
"I can skate, i just have to get used to it again."

She laughed and let go of one of my hands. i pulled her towards me. she lost her footing and she fell into me, when she did I fell, and she landed on top of me.
We both laughed

Chapter 32
Sid's POV
Her arms were around me. I looked down and she was sleeping, and not to much longer I was sleeping.
When I woke up, I rolled over, Brittany wasn't in bed. I got up and found Brittany in the kitchen with my shirt and a pair of Short on. She was cooking. I put my arms around her. she laughed I kissed her neck.
"what are you doing?"
"well, you cooked dinner and now I'm cooking breakfast."
"okay" I kissed he again
"stop it, we don't want to happen what happen last night."
"come on"
"no"
After we were done, we were sitting on the couch.
"what are we doing today I have to work the late shift today." she asked
"the late shift" i said
"yeah"
"you never work the late shift."
"I know"
"Today, I got to the arena, I got to see the doctor today."
"okay, when?"
"here in a little"
"okay"
I went to see the doctor then that night we had a game I wasn't playing of course. I lefted the game during the second intermission, and went to the diner. there was like two other people in there. Brittany had her back towards me. I sat down. The other waitress come over.
"hi my name is Lexi, how may I help you?"
"I'll start with a water."
"okay"
I nodded, she walked beside Brittany. I can hear everything.
"guess who I just waited on."
"who?" Brittany said not looking up from what she was doing.
"Sidney Crosby"
"really?" Britt said, and turned around, and she smiled
"hey" I said
"what are you doing here, the game isn't even over yet." she asked pointing towards to TV.
"it was boring"
"boring?"

"here you go."
the other waitress came over with my water when she went to put in down, she dropped it. The water went everywhere. Brittany gasped. I jumped up before it got on me.
"oh my god, I'm so sorry"
"Lexi, go get something to clean this up with."
"Sid I'm sorry, she new."
"it's okay"
After it was all cleaned up, and he shift was over, me and Brittany Left together.
"I'll meet you at your place, I got to go home first."
"okay"
When we were both ar her place, we went right to bed.

Chapter 31
The beginning of the next month.
I was lying in bed at 8:00 a.m. still half a asleep. When my phone rang. I was Sidney.
"hello" I said
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" he yelled into the phone. I laughed
"thank you"
"did I wake you up?"
"no"
"okay, so what are we doing tonight" he asked
"i don't know"
"well it's your birthday, so we got to do something"
"i don't know, what to do think"
"you know what I'll be over at five, Okay"
"okay?"
Around five Sidney was at the door bags of food.
"what are you doing?" i asked him.
"I'm making you a Birthday dinner"
"what?" i said as kissed me on the cheek, and went into the kitchen.
"yeah. I'm cooking."
"okay. do you want some help?"
"nope, i got it, you go relax, watch TV, read a book, go do something."
"okay" i did I went to my book. but it was hard every five minutes he was aking where stuff was. the last time got up. went in the kitchen, there wasn't really a mess but it could have been cleaner.
"are you sure you don't need no help?" I walked up to him.
"no"
"are you sure?"
"yes"
"okay" i said walking around him, and i slipped in something on the floor. Sidney went to catch me, and i went to grab his hand we just went down together. he landed on top of me. i laughed
"are you okay?" he asked
"yeah" i laughed then he laughed. Then move a piece of hair from my face, and kissed me. I kissed him back. He moved his hands down my body. He picked me up. We were still kissing. He was moving towards the bedroom. he tooked my shirt off. i put my hands around his head in his hair. He reached for my bra, when he went put me on the bed.
"Sidney, hold on." I said
"umm" he kissed down my chest
"do you smell that?"
he lift his head
"Shit" he said jumping up. he run out of the room. i run after him.
There was smoke coming out of the stove. he opened the door. i picked up my shirt and put in back on.
"thank god, it was the rolls, and and the meat."
"yeah, thank god it didn't burn down my apartment."
"sorry"
"it's okay" I said coming up to him, putting my arms around his neck. "I can live without rolls"
he laughed "me too, now let me get back to what i was doing."
"you started kissing me."
"so."
"so, I didn't make you stop doing what you where doing."
"wait, didn't you fall?"
"I'm going back to reading my book."
He laughed and I walked away.
About 10 minutes later we were eating.
"Sidney, This is really good."

When we were done we were sitting at the table.
"I almost forgot." he said getting up and getting into his coat pocket.

I opened it, it was a nacklace with a Diamond heart on it.
"it beautiful, thank you" i hugged him

"can you help me pick it on?"
"yeah" he put it on me.
"I love it" I kissed him
"I'm glad"
after we were done with the dishes.
"so where did we leave off, when you made made me stop what I was doing."
"one i didn't make you stop anything, and I think we were here." I said taking off my shirt and putting his arm around me.
We were lying in bed he had his arms around my neck playing with my necklace. My arms were around.

"So Brittany what do you do?" his mom asked
"I'm a waitress"
"do you plan on doing that your whole life?"
"Dad!" Sid said under his breath.
"I don't really know"
"you don't plan on going to college."
"I.....college...it wasn't right....at the time."
"Dad" Sidney said again but not under his breath.
We watched the game. i sat next to Sid his mom was on the other side of him, and his dad next to her.
"your dad doesn't like me."
"gave him time."
I looked at him, and bit my bottom lip.
Sid's POV
During the 2nd intermission. Brittany went to bathroom. i pulled my dad off to the side.
"Dad, why don't you lay off Britt, and gave her a chance."
he looked at me.
"Dad, I really like her."
"Do you love her?" he asked
"yea, i do"
"Sidney, I just don't want to see you with one of--"
"she not one of them."
"You don't know that she seem quiet"
"Dad, she got a past, she can be quiet, but she independent, smart, funny, beautiful."
"She's got baggage, are you sure you--"
"it's not baggage, it's her life, it's apart of her."
"will you gave her a chance?" i asked him he wasn't saying anything. "Dad I love her."
"yes" he said
"thank you" I nodded and saw someone in the corner of my eye. i looked.
"Brittany" She put her head down. I went up to her.
"how much did you hear?"
"all of it"
"are you Okay?"

The game was over, and Sidney was going to walk me out.

I nodded, and walked over to the side.

A week went by Sidney was in a boot now, we've watched every game together so far.
I got out of the shower, and went to my room. I was getting my clothes out of my closet.
"Brittany, Brittany!!" A voice said. I run out of my room holding my towel up.
"Babe!"
"Sidney?, Sidney you shouldn't be on your ankle like that."
"forget about the ankle but.......sorry" he said looking at my towel. i smiled and held the top of the towel and shook my head.
"it's okay, whats up?"
"I would have gave you a heads up, but I didn't know."
"what?"
"my parents are in town."
"your parents?"
"yeah, they went to meet you."
"when?"
"tonight at the game."
I took a deep breath
"I know you nervous but it will be okay."
"what if they don't like me?"
"they'll like you?"
"how do you know?"
"because I like you."

"I said forget about my ankle."

I laid back down wrapped the covers around me more. when he was down I looked at him.
"that was my mom, I got to go."
"okay" I sat up he put he's hands on the bed and put his forehead on mine then kissed me.

A couple days later we got all the furniture in the apartment, now we were unpacking, it was kinda of late. We were in my bed room. i was putting things on the dresser.
"now this is hot, eh" i turned around and seen Sidney sitting on the bed , holding one of my bras.
"give me that" I reach for it, i grabbed it he still had it, and he pulles me towards him. he laid on the bed, I was on top of him, I put one arm around his neck, I put the another hand on his cheek and kissed him and kept kissing him. He run his hand up and down my back and legs. I run my hand down his chest. i tugged on his shirt, and pulled it over his head, he did the same to me, we rolled over. He kissed me down my neck. I reach for his belt. he stopped me.
"are you sure?" he asked

The next morning I woke up, I looked over at Brittany she was still sleeping with just a pair or underwear and my t-shirt on. I cover her up more, kissed her on the cheek. she pressed her face into the covers. i got up and got a shower. Britt's POV
About two week later. I was at a game, i was sitting with Vero, ever since Jessica left me and vero been hanging out alot. It was early in the first period, i watch Sid go into broads, I waiting for him to get up. He got up on the his knees, and got up very slowly, he went to the penguins runway. they helped him go down the runway. i stood up.
"he'll be okay" vero said
"i hope so"
I had to go through the whole game not knowing anything, when the game was over i went to the locker room, max was coming out.
"is he okay, is he in there?"
"okay calm down, they took him to the hospital, to get a m.r.i"

"yeah, you know where they-"

"just go home, and he'll call you when ever he can"
"okay" I went home I waited, waited, and waited. i did get some sleep.
The next morning, i got to get ready for work, and I thought about calling him, but he could be sleeping. i was getting to leave, my phone rang.

"I'll be okay, i got a high ankle Spain, I would have called you last night but they gave me something that knocked me out."

A couple days later we got all the furniture in the apartment, now we were unpacking, it was kinda of late. We were in my bed room. i was putting things on the dresser.
"now this is hot, eh" i turned around and seen Sidney sitting on the bed , holding one of my bras.
"give me that" I reach for it, i grabbed it he still had it, and he pulles me towards him. he laid on the bed, I was on top of him, I put one arm around his neck, I put the another hand on his cheek and kissed him and kept kissing him. He run his hand up and down my back and legs. I run my hand down his chest. i tugged on his shirt, and pulled it over his head, he did the same to me, we rolled over. He kissed me down my neck. I reach for his belt. he stopped me.
"are you sure?" he asked
I looked down and looked back at him.
"yes"
Sid's POV
The next morning I woke up, I looked over at Brittany she was still sleeping with just a pair or underwear and my t-shirt on. I cover her up more, kissed her on the cheek. she pressed her face into the covers. i got up and got a shower. When I out, i went into the bedroom. she was standing there with her back towards me, getting into the dressers.
"he beautiful" I wrapped my arms around her. she jumped. I laughed she turned around put her arms around my neck.
"well, hello" she said, then kissed me.
"Brittany"
"huh?"
"last night, I didn't push you, i did"
"if I didn't won't you to do anything I would have stopped you." i kissed her.
"I have a to get going, got a early game."
she nodded "i know"
"i love you"
"i love you too"
Britt's POV
About two week later. I was at a game, i was sitting with Vero, ever since Jessica left me and vero been hanging out alot. It was early in the first period, i watch Sid go into broads, I waiting for him to get up. He got up on the his knees, and got up very slowly, he went to the penguins runway. they helped him go down the runway. i stood up.
"he'll be okay" vero said
"i hope so"
I had to go through the whole game not knowing anything, when the game was over i went to the locker room, max was coming out.
"is he okay, is he in there?"
"okay calm down, they took him to the hospital, to get a m.r.i"
"m.r.i"
"yeah, you know where they-"
"I know what an m.r.i is."
"just go home, and he'll call you when ever he can"
"okay" I went home I waited, waited, and waited. i did get some sleep.
The next morning, i got to get ready for work, and I thought about calling him, but he could be sleeping. i was getting to leave, my phone rang.
"hello" I said
"hey babe"
"are you okay?" i asked
"I'll be okay, i got a high ankle Spain, I would have called you last night but they gave me something that knocked me out."
"it's okay, but your gonna be okay?"
"yeah"
"how long are you going to be out for?"
"they said about two months."
"wow"
"yeah, tell me about it, hey I heard you were scared."
"i wasn;t scared, I was worried"
"aww you were worried about me."
"yes I was, nut i got to get going I got work."
"okay, I'll call you. I don't if I can come over today, but I'll call you."
"okay, love you "
"love you too."
