After dinner everyone went to bed but me. I went in the living room, pulled out my phone to call Sidney. i called him, but he didn't pick up. It was odd he always picks up. I just left it, and turned on the TV. About Five minutes later my phone rang.
"hello"
"hey babe, sorry i missed your call."
"it's Okay, were you sleeping."
"no. i was in the shower, are you okay?"
"yeah, I'm fine"
"how you feeling, did you get any sleep?"
"I'm feeling Okay, I'm sore, and no i didn't get any sleep i can't get comfortable, It hurts to lay down."
"babe, you need to get some sleep."
"i know, but it hurts"
"i know"
"anyways,what did you do today?"
"well, after practice was over, i ate then fell asleep woke up, got a shower now I'm talking to you, what you do?"
"nothing, i don't think I'll be doing anything for a while specilly here."
"why?"
"my mom don't let me do anything"
"well baby you can barely walk."
I took a deep breath
"Sidney, I think I told you this, but thank you."
"babe?"
"Sid, just thank you"
"Okay"
"but, i told my brother that i might have seen KY...Le at the mall."
"I'm thinking you did see him."
"not now Sid"
"I'm not starting anything, but what did he do?"
"the same as you but he talking to me, and he agrees with you that you had a right to be mad."
"babe, I don't want to talk about that now."
"me either......i love you"
"i love you too." he said
"i should try to find a way to get some sleep."
"yeah, I'll talk to you later."
"night, babe" i said
"goodnight."
it took me about an hour to find somewhere comfortable. I find if I sit in a its not bad I did get some sleep.
A week later Iws talking to Sidney on the phone.
"when are you coming up here? I'm so lonely."
"I'm not sure, I'm catching a plane to New York today."
"I know"
"it's just I been suck in this house."
"why don't you go do something, or have someone come over."
"i don't know"
"well anyway are you watching the game."
"don't I always"
"yeah" he laughed
Three days later, i was sitting in the living room, my mom was in the kitchen. there was a knock on the door.
"Brittany, can you get that?" mom yelled from the kitchen
"yeah" I got uo and went to the door. I open it.
"h- h- hi"
"hey" he said
"what are- why didn't you call?"
"I thought I surspie you."
"well you did" i pulled him into a hug
"you still sore"
"a little, just don't be that tight." he lossen his arms
"i missed you"
"i missed you too" I kissed him
"Sid, you have a game tonight"
"i know, i wanted to know if you want to come with me."
"really?"
"yeah."
"yes yes yes, let me get changed"
"you look like you moving a little better"
"yeah, but it still hurts"
"i bet" I made it upstairs, changed, and went back downstairs Sidney and my mom were in the living room.
"I don't think this is good idea."
"i don't care, i need to get out of theis house."
"yeah, Anne she'll be with me."
"what about during the game"
"i'll be with Marc girlfriend, can we go now sid."
"yeah, sure snne she'll be fine. i'll be with her."
"bye, mom"
"bye, be careful"
