Chapter 97

Britt's POV
Christmas went by, Sid started up games again, his parents were still here, they were staying for the winter classic. the day before the winter classic. Sidney had a practice at the outdoor rink. then a family and friends skate. that will not be doing because sid doesn't want me to fall, witch i understood what he was staying. me, his parents, and taylor were so happy about the baby. we haven't told the guys yet, or V and Ashley.

After the practice was over, we made our way down the locker room, taylor, trina, and tory changed into their skates. then Sidney came out of the locker room.

"hey" he said

"hi"

"Britt, are you getting your skates on?" Vero Asked

"No"

"why?"

"because I don't want ti skate"

"man, your suck a buzz kill,, latey" she said

i laughed, and looked up at Sidney, Taylor and his parents already made it out to the
rink. We were walking out to the rink.

"i don't like standing next to when your wearing your skates." I said

"why?"

"i'm alreasy some what shrot, this makes it wrost."

He laughed I ooed up at him, he smiled we got to the rink. he kissed me and went on
the ice. I just sat there watching everybody skate around. then some guys from the
team start coming up to me saying 'congratulations'

"thank....you" i said, i looked over at Sid, he just moved his shoulders up then back
down and smiled he told the guys. then Vero skated up to me.

"I would hit you right now" She said'

"really"

"yeah, because your pregnant and your didn't tell me."

"I'm sorry we just told our parents over christmas"

"how far along?"

"about three months."

"aww"

I laughed

"sid, going to have a little hockey player." she said

"yeah...what going on?" I asked looking in the middle of the ice everyone was in a
cirlce.

"i don't know, i'll go see"

"wait" I said, I grabbed her hand "sid, going to kill me,"

we came to the middle of th eice, i came up beside Sidney, i let go of V, and grabbed
Sid arm.

"whats going on?" i asked, he looked down.

"what are you doing out here?"

"I wanted to here what going on."

"Kris asked Ashley to marry him."

"he what?"

"yeah"

"what did she say?"

"yes"

I saw Kris and Ash kiss, i grabbed Sid around his waist.

"come on" he said, we went back to the bench.

The next day, Sid had morning Skate, i wasn't feeling that good, I stayed in bed most
of the morning so maybe I would feel better for the game.

"Hey babe" Sid said, crawing into bed.

"i hate you "

"oh come on" he said, slideing his arm around me.

"I feel liek shit."

hestarted kissing my neck.

"please don't " i said, pressing my face into a pillow.

"your still early in your Pregnacy , the morning isn't going to stop."

"All women are diff--- wait how do you know that?" I asked

He got into the nightstand next to bed.

"this" He said , showing me a book, it was a book on pregnacy/

"you've been reading that?"

"yeah, when I can't sleep, when i get home from away games."



he been trying , this whole time to get over his fears. i smiled

"so tell me what i have to look forwards in the next couple months."

"let me think, haerthburn, baby could start to move. morning sickness"

"oh great"

he smiled

"not funny" I said,

"Really?" he asked, trying to kiss my neck again.

"are you wearing cologne?" i asked

"yeah"

"not again" I said getting up and ranning to the bathroom. I came out of the
bathroom, Sid was laying in bed.

"are you going to take a nap?" I asked

"yeah"

"Okay, i'm going down stairs"

He nodded

Later, we were sitting in the box, waiting for the game to start. i was sitting next
to Vero . the game started nothing happend in\the frist period, Start of the seconf
wsh. scored then we came back, when geno scored again. at the end of the second
period I watched the puck go up the ice, then i stood up.

"want to go get something---"

"sid" Vero said

"what?"

"Sid"

"what about--" I looked down at the ice he was getting up really slowly he was
doubled up all the way to the bech. "what happend?"

"I don't know"

I looked at Trina

"i don't know either"

I sat there waiting for the thitd period ro start, hoping to see Sid back out there.
Vero came back from getting food, I looked over at her, she had a thing of nachos
that had like everything on it.

"Oh" I said, turning my head,then I got a big smell of it. "i'll be back" I went and
found the closest bathroom. I came back

"you okay" ashley asked

"yeah"

"these make you sick" Vero asked, holding them up to me.

"yes" I said putting my arm out.

"sorry"

"its okay"

"oh by the way, sid on the ice"\

"thank god"

In the third, wsh. scored agian, We lost 3-1, we were standing in the lobby waiting
for the guys.

"Brittany" Vero said

"what?" She ponited to the Tv, they showed Sid getting hit, it was the frist time i
seen it.

my mouth dropped "oh my god"

"damn" v said

"oh, thats messed up" Marc said coming between us.

"that the frist time we seen it."

"really?" he asked

"yeah"

I looked int he locker room, I seensid talking too his parents, then he staring
walking to me. He hugged me.

"are you okay?"' I asked grabbing his head

"yes, i'm good"

"are you sure?"

"Yes" i looked at him, "i'm fine" he said

"okay" i said "okay then space"

"what?"

"cologne"

"oh yeah sorry"

"you get sick from your husband cologe" Vero laughed

"ha ha not funny"

"are we going out?" marc asked

"yeah" Sid said

We got to this bar, eventhough they didn't win, they still wanted to go out. i
sitting at a table.

"what do you want to drink?" sid asked across the table.

"water"

"no pop?" he asked

"water the only thing i can keep down."

"gotcha" he said, and walked away.

"I can't believe your getting marriedm everybody getting married before me, i've been
with marc longest" V said

"oh god, are still going off about it."

"yes I am " she said Marc was behind her. "what's up with Marc?" she asked

Sidney sat the water infront of me.

"space" I said pushing him away.

"sorry" he said, and moving around the table.

"Sid, do you know why?"

"why what?"

"Why Marc won't ask me to marry him?"

"I don't know I can't anwser that."

"I just don't understand"

"you talk to much." Marc said, putting his around her.

"did you hear what I said?"

"yupp" he said, she turned around,

"oh" Marc grabbed her hands, and got down on one knee.

"Marc " she said, I mouth dropped I looked at sid he was smiling. I looked back at
them.

"V your--"

"yes"

"will you let me ask you first?"

"yeah sorry."

"Vero, you are the most impaitent, nosy, loudest person I have ever met." he said, me
and sid laughed. "I love you" he said pulling the ring out of his pocket. "and
will..........you...................."

"Marc!!"

"will you marry me?"

"yes" she laughed, he put the ring on her finger, he got up and they hugged.

I felt sid slide his arm around me, his hand went over my smotcah, hold my bump.

"did you know about this?" i asked him, he nodded "why didn't you tell me?"

"because he told me when we came in, and you were with her the whole night."

"okay, i'll give you that" i said, he kissed my neck, i laughed and turned my head
and went to kiss his neck.

"oh no " I pushed him away, he dropped his arms to his sides "i'm sorry, I just can't
handle it."

Later, that night I found sid at the table by himself rubbing his head.

"are you okay?" i asked, he looked up at me.

"yeah, I have a headache, loud music."

"do you went to go home?"

"no your having a good time."

"but your not feeling well."

"but i'll be okay" he said

"okay" i said "hey I haven't felt sick for a while. come on." i grabbed his hand and
walked him over to everybody.

While later isd was gone again. i couldn't find him. I just thought he went to the bathroom. then I felt two hands around me.I looked up.

"hey" i said "want to get out of here?" i asked him'

"our you sure?"

"yeah"

"okay" Sid went grabbed our coat, and went to find V.

"hey"

"huh?

"we're taking off."

"why?"

"i'm tired, and don't think Sid feeling to well."

"okay" she said, I hugged her

"i'm so happy for you" I said "both of you" I said touching marc leg who was sitting
next to her.

"thanks"

I found Sid, he help me put on my coat we were walking out to the car.

"how your headache?"

"it's almost gone"

"do you want me to drive?"

"no I got it."

"okay"

We got in the car, going hom ,my eyes kept getting heavy.. then th the next thing i
know is the door poped open my head fell, two hands grabbed my waist.

"huh?" i asked

"were home?"

"oh, I can walk."

"okay"

he unlocked the door, walked in, I took off my shoes and I almost fell into him. he
caught me. i laughed, he did too.

"oh cologe" I said and ran to the bathroom. i came out.

"i'm going to the get a shower and get this off of me." He said

"thank you"

"your welcome" he went upstair, I followed him. i got ready for bed and he got a
shower. i climbed into bed, and started reading my book. He came out of the bathroom
ran the towel thouh his hair, and though the towl in the drity clothes, and climbed
into bed.

"how do I smell?" he asked putting he chest in my face.

"good, looking good too"

"thanks" he said touching his chest.

I laughed, he put one his arm around my waist. i read my book, he lifted up my shirt.
i looked at him.

"hey baby" he said to my smotcah he ran his fingers down it tickle I moved my smotcah
I went back to reading my book it look like I was reading my book.

"give you chills?" he said

"yeah"

he kissed my belly.

"its me Daddy" my heart melted when I heard him say that "can you move for me?"

"I don't think, he going to move for while." I said

"but it say at this time thay the baby will start to move."

"yeah, but honey, I'm still early in my pregnacy"

"i don't care" I laughed, he kissed my belly again.

"oh, and he, how do you know its a boy?"

"I don't but I thinkit is, why you want a girl?"

"no i think its a girl."

"I though you would say a boy."

"nope"

"okay" I said

I went back to reading my book. I turned a page.

"shhh." he said

"what?" i asked moving my book, he had his ear on my stomcah. "what are you doing?"

"trying to hear the baby heartbeat."

"babe, your not going to hear him."

"her, and that not fair." he said sitting up next to me.

"i'm sorry, but i can't feel him either"

"i''m telling you, her" he said. putting his arms around me, I slide down in bed. i
laughed he kissed my neck. he let go of me. i sat back up.

"oh" he said, then there was knock on the door.

"come in" sid said, I pulled my shirt down, his mom walked in

"I heard you two, wanted to know if you had a good time."

"yeah we did, did we wake you?" sid asked

"no, just wanted to see if you had a good time. goodnight"

"night" we said, she left the room.

"where were we." sid said coming to my lips.

"you were rubbing my belly, and I was reading."

"come on"

"come on SIdney, it felt good"

"okay"

we laid there for a another hour, I put my book down, i looked at sid his hand was on
my stomcah and he was sleeping. I put my book on the nightstand, and turned off the
light.

"honey" I said grabbing hos hand. "babe"

"what?"

"can I go to sleep?"

"oh yeah" he said, he kissed my stomcah, and kissed me. "goodnight"

"night" I pulled my shirt down, he pulled the covers over us, and me fell asleep
