Chapter 9

Britt's Pov

All week me and Sidney text back and forth.

On his birthday I trough I'd call him. It took everything in me to call him. but I picked up the phone and called him.

"hello" he said picking up the phone.

"hi"

"hey Brittany I didn't think I would get a call from you today."

"well i wanted to call and say Happy Birthday."

"you remembered"

"yeah I remembered"

"well thank you"

"your welcome"

"so what are you up to today?"

"I think few of my friends and I are going to get together. you?"

"guys from the team, friends, and family are coming over for a party."

"cool, I hope you have fun."

"yeah, I hope you do too."

"I should get going Jess should be getting off her plane pretty soon"

"Okay, well have fun, tell her I said hi."

"Okay, and Sidney"

"yeah?"

"Happy Birthday again"

"thanks Britt"

"Bye" he said

"talk to you later"

About half an hour later I went ans picked up Jessica at the airport.

"How was it with your family."

"good" she said getting into the car.

"how long is you mom and dad staying there?"

"the end of the summer."

I looked over at her.

"what is on your neck?"

"umm" she said putting hand to her neck

"Andrew?" I asked

"No..Max"

"Max!..Max...ma..Max as in Max from the beach Max?"

"yeah"

"when did you see him?"

"earlier this week, he came to New York to see me"

"what happened with Andrew"

"we broke up"

I looked at her in disbelief. Her and Andrew have been together for three years. don't get me wrong max seem like a good guy but wow.

"Are you an Max together?"

"you could say that"

"Wow..I ...I don't what to say."

"be happy for me"'

"I am, I'm just shocked" I said starting the car.

"yeah, So what have you been up to."

"nothing" I said turning my head towards the road.

"why did you nothing like that"

"because...." she gave me a mean look

"I hang out with Sidney earlier this week."

"you did, he's in town?"

"he was, he had some stuff to do here, and he ask me to hang out. So we went to dinner."

"did anything happened?"

"No" i laughed

Later Jessica, Nikki and I all got together at me and Jessica's. We ordered pizza and watching movies but we just ended up taking about whats going on with each other.

"so Jess how are you and Andrew?" Nikki asked.

"we.. Broke up."

"What!?"

"yeah"

"why?"

"I got a new boyfriend"

"who?"

"Max from the beach."

"Whe-"

"why don't you asked Brittany about her new boyfriend." Jessica said cutting her off.

"Jessica!!"

"who?"

"nobody, he not me boyfriend"

"who?"

"nobody" i said wondering when i would see him again.
