Chapter 14

Sid's POV

That Thursday I stopped at Brittany's work. She was behind the counter.

"hey what are you doing here?" she asked

"I was just passing by, I thought I come in." I kissed her cheek.

"I'm glad you did." She said "I'll be right back." She said and went a waited on some people.

"you pretty busy today?"

"Yeah just a little, so I was thinking because you leave tomorrow do you want to come over my place tonight and dinner and watch some watch some TV?" she asked

"yeah, I like to." some people yelled for her.

"Okay,so tonight around 7:00" she said starting to walk away. I turned around. I nodded

"okay" she kissed me

"see you tonight" i said

Later I was on my to Brittany's.

I went to knock on the door, and it opened.

"Hey Sid"

"Hey Jess, out with max tonight?"

"yeah, so you and Britt will be alone."

"ha ha, bye Jess." Brittany said

"hi" she said to me.

"hey" we both looked at Jessica.

"Okay, I'm leaving."

"Umm I got off work kinda late so I though we just order pizza, and watch TV, is that okay."

"yeah, that fine"

"I'm going to order it now, what kind do you like?"

"It's doesn't matter."

"you sure."

"yeah"

Britt's POV

I order the pizza, and we sat down in the living room. About 20 minutes later the pizza was here. I got up went to get money . I saw Sidney go into his pocket.

"Don't even think about it" I said.

"oh come on."

"no, I got this one"

"no" he said

"no, i got it."

"no" he said grabbing me from behind

"put me down I got to get the pizza."

"no let me pay."

"no put me down."

"mhmmm......Okay"

I paid the pizza guy, We ate and laid on the couch, I had my head on his lap. He was running he fingers through my hair. My eyes were getting heavy. The next thing i know I woke up at 4:00 am in my bed. I rolled over and on the pillow was a note.


Brittany,
I locked up, and you so peaceful when you sleep. I'll call you tomorrow.

I got out of bed went to the bathroom, and changed into my pj's. want back to bed.

I woke up the next moring got ready for work Jessica looked so tired.

"what time you get home?" I asked

"like midnight, what time Sidney leave?"

"I don't know, I fell asleep" when i said that my phone rang.

"hello"

"Good morning sunshine" Sid said

"good morning, hey thanks last night , you l=know for locking up and stuff."

"your welcome."

"I'm sorry, I fell asleep on you."

"No, it's okay."

"I feel bad"

"no reason, you look so peaceful."

"when do you leave?"

"right after practice, you gonna watch the game"

"good" he said I laughed

"I got to go to work."

"Okay I'll talk to you later,"

"okay, good luck"

"thanks bye"

On Saturday night me and Jessica were at home watching the game cheering on our boys.

In the first period Erik Christensen score for the penguins. the second period penguins had three goals. Sid had his first of the season. max also scored a goal. So did Ryan Malone. In the third period Sid and max both had another goal, Sid got a power play goal. Max with a empty netter. The final score was 6-4 penguins.

The next day I called Sidney.

"Great game"

"thanks"

"You should have sen Jessica watching the game, she had no idea what was going on." we both laughed.
