Chapter 117

Britt’s POV
The last two weeks, have been awful, i’ve only talk to Sidney five times, and a few texts here and there. and was coming home today, and its killing me not talking to him. i need to just tell him. i’m sorry and leave it at that. so i put Aiden to bed early, and i thought i start cooking him dinner. Dinner was done. and he still wasn’t home he was supposed to be home an hour ago. I sat down in the living room. everything was mostly likely cold by now. Then I heard the door open. I got Sidney was walking in the living room.
“where have you been?” I asked

Sid’s POV
I walked in the house. there was a basket of clothes in the hallway, a couple rug on the railing. maybe she really does need help. I put my suitcase down. I walked in the living room.
“where have you been?” she asked
“umm....i had to get something”
“really.. like what?”
“these” I handed her a dozen of roses.
“umm...i’m sor--”
“go get a bath, relax”
“sideny”
“go, i’ll put these is water”
“okay” she said, i smiled she walked upstairs. I throw the flowers in the chair. i opened the front door.
“okay, she upstairs, i’m gonna get Aiden ready, and i’ll back right back down” i whispered “anna thanks again”
“no problem, i can’t to watch Aiden” Brittany mom said,
“i’m going to go get him” I went upstairs, aiden was awake in his crib.
“hey little man i missed you” I kissed cheek. I grabbed his bag, and started packing it. I grabbed his blanket, and picked him up. I went downstairs. I handed him to anna.
“theres my little boy” she said, i went in the kitchen put his formula in his bag. Here you i handed her the bag. “you got the car seat out of my car”
“yes, sidney i’ve taken care of a few babies in my time.”
“it just the first time he’s been without her.”
“he’ll be okay” she said, I grabbed him.
“love you bud” I kissed his forehead, “be good for grandma” I handed him back to her. “thank you”
“your welcome, have fun” she said, i smiled, she left.
I went upstairs. I opened the bathroom door. “Britt” she jumped
“it’s just me.” I smiled, she looked at me, and smiled. i took off my shoes, and socks. i kneel down and rubbed her shoulders.
“umm” she said, I stood up, and took off my shirt. she looked at me.
“Sidney, no Aiden could wake up.”
“Aiden awake, and he with your mom.” I said
“What!?” she asked
“He’s with your mom”
“Sidney, he’s not ready“
“He’s not or you’re not”
“Sidney, it’s doesn’t matter” she said, starting to get out.
“no,” i grabbed her shoulders “it’s just going to be us tonight, so we can figure out us.” I said
“okay” she said, she kissed me she grabbed me, and pulled me in the tub.
“Brittany” I laughed, and there was a big splash.
“oh” she said, there was water all over the floor. she laughed, i looked at her, and i started laughing “you’re all wet” she laughed,
“so good to see you smile”
“come on. lets get out we still have a lot to talk about” she said
“okay” i said
we cleaned up the mess and each other. We both changed into some sweats, and t-shirts.
"well I did cook dinner, but it's been sitting out for a while." Britt said "order in?" I asked
"sounds great." she smiled
We seat on the couch, with are chinese. I looked around the living room, there was toys on the floor. aidens bounder, and a blanket. she put her hand on my knee. I looked at her.
“i’m sorry”
“Britt”
“no, Sid, i’m really sorry, I never meant for it to sound like you don’t care, and i know you love him. ”
“Britt, i know, and i did overreact little.” i said “but if you needed help all you had to do was ask.”
“but I shouldn’t have to” She looked at me.
“okay, okay you’re right.”
“I don’t know why, i wasn’t helping”
“because i wasn’t asking for it so you thought i was okay.” I looked at her.
“i’ll help, with anything” I said
“Sidney, I’m sorry, for everything i said.” she said putting her food on the table. turning to face me. “i’m so mad at myself for what I said,” i put my food down “and i never meant for it to come off that w---”
“okay, okay, okay.” i grabbed her face, she looked me in the eyes, i kissed her. “i love you, okay, and i love our son, and it’s okay” I said
“yeah?”
“yeah, everything in the past.” i said, I kissed her again. she hugged me. “and now lets finish eating, and just relax.” she kissed me.
“okay” she smiled
We finished eating, She leaned back on my chest. i wrapped my arms around her.
“So anything i missed in the last two weeks?” i asked
“not really, oh Aiden learned how to pull hair.” I laughed, “sorry for you”
“hey if you keep growing out your hair, you’re not going to be in the clear either”. she said, reaching up, to grab my hair.
“i’m growing it out a little” I said, “you like?”
“yeah, i do” she smiled, and rolled over
“oh” I smiled, she put her hands on the back of my neck. She kissed me. I wrapped my arms around her.
“So, we have no baby tonight?” she asked
“nope, he’s with your parents, they were more than happy to take him for the night.”
“i can’t sleep all night”
“yupp,” I smiled, pushing a piece of hair behind her ear. “oh” she kissed me.
“i love you”
“i love you too” I said.

Britt’s POV
“do you want to upstairs, and put a movie in?” I asked him.
“sure” i got up. he turned off the tv, and stood up. i grabbed his hand. i turned off the light. He put his arms around my waist, as we were walking up the stairs. he kissed my neck. we got upstairs. i turned around he kissed me. we walked in the bedroom.
“Okay, okay” I laughed, “lets pick a movie.” I pushed him away. He laughed. We picked a movie. About ten minutes into the movie. I was out cold. The next morning, I woke i looked at the clock, it was nine o’clock , I smiled and rolled over, Sidney was still sleeping. “Sidney” I run my hand down his back. “Sid”
“umm” he pushed his face more into his pillow. I kissed his ear. “umm.....Britt”
“wake up, hot stuff.......do you want to go get out little boy?” I asked, he rolled over “you’ve gotta miss him.” he opened his eyes.
“i do miss him, i’ve seen him a total of five minutes in the last two week.” he said, rubbing his eyes.
“okay, well get up and get ready.” i said
“okay, okay” he said
“oh, Sid.....thank you”
“you’re welcome” he said, and kissed me.
We got up, and got showers, then made our way to my parents. I open the door. I heard Aiden crying. I walked in the kitchen mom was holding him.
"oh......little man" I said
"oh there mommy."
"mama" I said
"oh okay sorry." I smiled, she handed Aiden to me. I kissed his forehead. I rocked him, he stopped crying.
"talk about mother's touch." mom said Sid laughed.
"hey bud." Sidney, said grabbing his hands,
"here you want to hold him?”
“yeah” he took him from me.
“how was he?” I asked
“he’ll sleep good tonight.”
“was he up all night”
“most of it, i think it was just being somewhere new”
“sorry, did you any sleep”
“no need to be sorry, sweetie i loved it.” I smiled “did you and Sidney work everything out?” she asked
“yeah, we’re good.” i smiled I looked at Sid, he winked at me. “thanks mom for watching him.”
“it was no problem, honey” I grabbed his bag. “everything in there, and his his car seat is in the hallway.”
“ready to go?” I asked, Sidney
“yupp”
“thank again mom”
“yupp.” sidney handed aiden to, and he went in the hallway to grab his car seat. We got to the car. Sidney hooked up the car seat. I handed aiden to him, and Sid put him in his seat.
We got home. I turned around to look at Aiden, and he was out cold. I smiled.
“i’ll get him” Sidney said getting out of the car. I got out too. and went around the car. Sidney got him, I got his bag, and followed them in the house. Sidney went and put Aiden in his bouncer. I went in the kitchen, and got a bottle of water.Sidney came in. He looked at me.
“what?”
“Come here” he hugged me. i smiled, wrapping my arms around him.He wrapped his arms around my neck. He kissed my forehead.

Chapter 116

Chapter 116

Britt’s POV
Couple of weeks went by, I thought everything was going well but i find myself more and more tired each day, and sidney is never home, and i get it, he has hockey, but when he is home he never helps with aiden, or does any house work, and he has never been that kind of guy not to help out, and he has been really busy with hockey, and in a couple of days he going on a two weeks road trip, and i don’t know if i can do it, and he been driving me crazy lately, not just the not helping thing...........okay just the not helping thing. But i guess i am to blame for a little of it, because lately more in the last week, when he comes home, i just don’t talk to him, I don’t know why. I love him, i love talking to him, late talks are one of my favorite thing we do. i just don’t know what to say without freaking out on him.
Also, i’m not saying that he doesn’t pay attention to Aiden, which he does, he plays with him all the time, and Aiden loves it he always smiling, and giggling with sidney. Sidney is so good with him. Its just he never helps.
Sidney came home after practice. i was in the kitchen finishing the dishes.
“hi babe” he kissed my forehead.
“hi” i said
“is this today’s mail?” he asked, picking up the stack of bills on the counter.
“yeah”
“where Aiden?” he asked
“i finally got him down for a nap.”
”i’m going to down stairs, to workout a little.” “didn’t you just get out of practice?” i asked
“yeah, i’m just working out one time a week now.” he said, walking downstaris
“okay” i said, turning around running my hands through my hair, then letting the water out of the sink. i let out a long breath. then Aidem started crying, i grabbed the monitor, and went upstairs.
Later that night, i finished dinner. Sidney was in the living room, playing with Aiden,
“Sidney dinner done.” i said walking in the kitchen,
“okay,” he said, standing up, and putting Aiden in his bounder. We got our food I sat on the couch, and sid sat in the chair.
“its good” he said
“thanks” i said, we sat there in silence, with the tv on, and watching kicking a waving his arms, at the toys above him. We just sat, if he didn’t know something was wrong, he must be blind.
I put Aiden to bed. Sidney was still downstairs, I went and changed. I climbed into bed.

Sid’s POV
I turned off the TV, and all the lights, locked the doors. i went upstairs. i looked in Aiden’s room all the lights were out but a nite light in the corner of the room. I walked in. i looked down at him. i covered him more with the blanket. I walked in our bedroom, Britt was reading.
“he’s out” I said
“yeah” she said, I went in the bathroom, and started the shower.
I don’t know what’s been up lately, but Brittany and I never talk anymore, and i try to talk to her but she gives me one word answers. we don’t even talk about how day went anymore. its not like when we first got married and we fought all the time, we don’t fight, we just don’t talk. and we are both really busy, but i don’t know what’s going on.
I got out of the shower. i run a towel through my hair. i put a towel around my waist. I opened the door.
“Britt, what’s going---” I looked up, and she was out cold. book on her lap. I smiled, i love when she falls asleep reading. I took the book off of her lap, set it on the night stand. i pushed back her bangs, and kissed her forehead. “i love you” I whispered, then turned off her side table lamp.
The next morning, I got up Brittany was still sleeping, I check on Aiden, he was still sleeping too. I was getting ready to leave Brittany rolled over, she opened her eyes, and looked at me.
“hey” i said
“hi” she sat up,
“i got practice in an hour.” i said, she nodded.
“ i’m gonna go check on Aiden.” she said, getting up and walking out of the room. she came back with Aiden.
“i just checked on him, he was sleeping.” I said, she laid him, on the bed.
“hey bud” i sat down next to him. i pushed his hair back. I kissed his forehead. “i got to go” I looked at Britt
“okay.” she said, I stood up, and i put my hand on her cheek, i kissed her. “bye”
“bye” i said I walked downstairs, something was still up with her. I just know what to do. I went to practice. I’m not the one to be off my game, but i couldn’t stop thinking about Brittany. I got home, I walked in the living room. Aiden was in his bounder.
“hey buddy” I kneel down and grabbed his hand. “where’s mama?”
“Britt?”
“in the dining room.” i got up, i walked in the dining room. Brittany was wiping off the table.
"he"’ i kissed her.
“hi” she said
“umm..” i looked at her. “can we..talk?” I asked
“about what?” she asked
"us." I said , she looked down. " we never talk anymore , a husband and wife, are supposed to talk, and that all we ever did, it’s not normal"
"I know."
"well we don't--"
"you don't think I know that." she said
"well why don't we-- "
"maybe it has something to do with the four month old in the living room, and hockey." She said
"whoa, what--"
"Sidney you never help." she said looking at me.
"help with what?"
"really." she raised her eyebrows "Aiden, even housework"
"I help." I said putting my hands on the back of a chair.
"no you don't, Sidney I do everything feed him, change him, give him a bath, I get up in the middle of the night with him. Not saying that I don't love them things, because I really do." she said
" but I'm tired, all I want to do anymore is sleep. One good night that all I want."
"I help, I've changed, and feed him."
"when the last time?" she asked
"umm... " I looked at her," maybe I don't know the last time, but I help."
"Sidney, you’re either, at hockey, or just playing him, and I love when you play with him, it's so cute., but I need more, I need help."
"what do you want me to do, quit hockey?"
"no Sidney, get real , hockey doesn't bother me, it has never bothered me. Just when your home, help, often to change him. Feed him, get up a two in the morning. "
" I can't believe you’re putting this all on me." I said
"I'm not putting it all on you. "
"yes, you are."
"Sidney." I looked at her, "I know you, and I know you never meant not to help, you care about your family, and hockey, I also know I've always told you to put hockey in front of me, but it's different now, we have a family."
"even when you told me to, I have never put hockey in front of you, and now you and him." I said "now your saying I don't care, Brittany.... How.... How could---"
"no, Sidney I didn't mean it like that--- crap." she said walking up to me. Grabbing my hand, I pulled away, and turned around.
"I'm going to Marc's." I said
"Sidney, Sidney." She called. I walked out.

Britt's POV
he walked out the door.
"shit." I said, I just made something bad, worst. I said that his doesn't put his first first over hockey, by saying that he puts his family first. I'm such an idiot. Which I mostly likely one of the wrist things for a man to hear that he doesn't care about his son, and I never meant to say that I know he, cares about us. And he loves aiden. What did i do?
That night, I put Aiden to bed. I went downstairs, and putting dishes away. i picked up a plate and it slipped out of my hand. I crashed on the floor.
“fuck” i whispered. i couldn’t take. I sat down at the kitchen table, and just started crying. i’m so mad at myself. I tried calling Sidney, he would answer. i wiped my eyes. i looked at the floor, at the broken plate. I got up, i picked up the pieces throw them away, and wiped off the floor. I washed my hands. I dried them, then turned around, and jumped, sidney was standing in the doorway.
“Sidney” I said
“i don’t want to talk to you” he said
“honey, please”
“no, i’m sleeping on the couch.”
“Sidney, you never sleep on the couch, when we get into a fight.”
”well, I really don’t feel like talking to you.” he said, getting a bottle of water out of the frig.
“Sidney, can we just talk about it you leave tomorrow, and you’re going to be gone for two weeks. ” I said
“i don’t want to, i still can’t believe what you said.”
“Sidney, i didn’t mean it, i came out wrong.” he shook his head, and walked out of the kitchen, and up the steps. few minutes later he came back down stairs, in his boxers, and a shirt. He laid on the couch, and turned on the TV. I went upstairs. i checked on aiden. Then went to bed. About three in the morning, Aiden woke up, I walked in his room, I turned on the lights. I pushed my hair behind my ear.
“hey buddy” I picked him up. I grabbed a binky, i sat down in a chair. i looking down at him. i gave him the binky, he grabbed my hand. i smiled “oh.....you look so much like your father.” i said he looked up at me. “oh Aiden screwed things up with daddy right now.......i know he loves you, and cares about you......i just wanted some help” i said, staring at the floor. “Daddy, was right he always did put me first before we had, even when i told him not to.” i looked at Aiden. “he never does listen.” i laughed “but i guess that one of the things i love about him.” Aiden eyes were getting heavy. “and, don’t you ever forget, that your daddy loves you no matter what, so do I.” i said, and he was asleep. I smiled. I stood up, and laid him down in his crib. I covered him up. I turned off the light, and went back to bed.

Sid’s POV
“and, don’t you ever forget, that your daddy loves you no matter what, so do it” Brittany said, I heard Aiden crying, and i went upstairs, but Brittany was ready in there. His light went out, i went around the bend. I heard her walk out. I went downstairs. Maybe i was a little rough on her, and maybe i haven’t been helping as much, but i didn’t notice. but she was still applying that i didn’t care.
The next morning, I woke up.I sat up “ahhh, maybe the couch wasn’t the best idea.” I said sitting up. I heard Aiden giggling in the kitchen. I got up, and walked out to the kitchen. Aiden was in his bounder on the table. sucking on his hands. I grabbed his hands “ahh....good morning, Aiden” i kissed his cheek. Brittany walked in the kitchen from the dining room. she stopped and looked at me.
“when are you leaving?” she asked
“noon” i said
“okay”
“umm..... i don’t know” she said, i looked at her. “want some breakfast?” she asked
“sure”
We ate. I finished packing. after i brought my suitcases downstairs. Brittany was feeding Aiden.
“I should get going” I said
“okay” she stood up, and handing me aiden.
“hey bud, i’m gonna miss you” i kissed his cheek, i handed him, back to Britt. i looked at her. “i love you” I said, she looked up.
“I love you.” i kissed her. she smiled
“bye”

Chapter 115

Sid's POV

Brittany walked upstiars. Her mom was still yelling. I walked outside. i kept Carrie busy so she wouldn't go in the house. A little while later Brittany came back outside with baby monitor in her hand . She sat down next to me, and put her head on my shoulder. i kissed her forehead.
“what are they doing in there?” I asked
“still fighting” she closed her eyes. then her parents came out.
“we’re leaving sweetie” her dad said
“oh okay” she stood up. hugged her parents, and walked them out her sister left without even say bye. after her parents left. Adam and carrie left. Britt shut the door. she turned around looked at me, and put her arms around me, and squeezed me tight. then aiden started crying.
“i got him” I said,
“are you sure?”
“yupp, i got him.” i said, start walking up the stairs. I picked him up out of the crib. “hey, buddy, did you hear everyone yelling, crazy people. just remember that all your mama’s family” i laughed, as he just looked up at me. “just kidding, they're good people, well i don’t know about aunt aimee. ” i walked downstairs,
“hey bud,” Britt kissed his forehead, “don’t let daddy fool you he pretty crazy himself.” she looked at me. i looked at her.
“how----baby monitor” she nodded, “i’m sorr--”
“no, my family is crazy” i laughed, she smiled. I kissed her. i walked in the dining room, and laid Aiden in his carryer. i rocked his carryer . i sat down , i looked in the kitchen, Brittany, and my mom was cleaning up. i watched brittany she was moving alot slower, then normal .
“Babe, are you okay?” i asked, she turned around
“yeah, i’m fine, why?” “your not moving so fast.”
“Sidney, she just had a baby.” mom said, brittany laughed
“okay, good point.” i said
Later that night, mom, dad, and Taylor went to bed already. I grabbed Aiden carrier, he was staring up at me.
“hey dude.” i tickled his belly, i walked in the living room. i stopped, brittany was asleep on the couch. I set aiden carrier on the table. I sat on the end of the couch. i put my hand on her back. “babe........Britt” she moved a little. “babe, how about you go upstairs.” she rolled over and looked at me.
“i didn’t want to fall asleep” she said,
“it’s okay, just go upstairs.” she sat up. she turned Aiden around,
“hey bud.” she smiled, she put her head on my shoulder. and looked at Aiden. “he looks so much like you”
“i can’t believe how much hair he has.” i said
“i know” she looked at me, and smiled and kissed me. he started to move, then started to cry. “oh” Brittany said, she stood up, and unhooked him, and picked him up. “shhh......i’m going to change him, and get him ready for bed.”
“okay, i’m good to lock to house up.” i kissed her forehead. she walked upstairs.
The first night, was differently the hardest, up every two hours.

Three months have pasted, hockey started back, we just started the season. Brittany and I are doing fine, for not getting that much sleep still. Aidens’ healthy. Aiden starting to moving around more and more. he getting stronger, he starting to grab things, He’s starting to sleep better, he starts crying in the middle, and before we even get to his room, his right back asleep.
I picked Aiden out of his crib, and walked downstairs. Brittany was sitting in the chair, reading a book.
“look whos’ up. ” i said sitting on the arm of the chair. she looked up at me, and put her book down.
“hey big guy” she smiled, she rubbed his hair back.
“i gotta to get going. we’ll leaving right after practice.” i said, we had away game, we would be home tomorrow night.
“i know” she said, we stood up.i lifted aiden up in the air, then i kissed his forehead
“i’m gonna miss you buddy, and i’m gonna miss you” I looked at brittany
“i’ll miss you too.” she said, i kissed her. Aiden cooed, and started moving in the arms.
“okay buddy, go to mama.” i handed him to her. “love you” I said
“love you too” she kissed me one more time. I grabbed my bag.
“see ya tomorrow.”
“see ya”
“bye bye Aiden” i said, Britt smiled, and grabbed his hand and waved to me. I laughed “see ya”
“see ya” she said

Britt’s POV

Sidney left.
“looks like it just us dude” I told aiden. I put blanket on the floor, and a pillow, and sat Aiden against the the pillow. “mama, will be right back.” i went and grabbed a blanket of clothes, and went back in the living room i sat down on the floor next to Aiden and started folding clothes. After I finished, I looked at Aiden he was just looking at me. I laughed. I didn't really didn't know what to do with myself. So I thought in would be nice to go see my parents I haven't seen them for a while. I got ready, and got Aiden ready. I packed his bag. I put him in the carrier. And locked up, then I hooked aiden carrier in the car. We got to my parents. Aiden was asleep. I unhooked aiden, and grabbed his bag. I opened the door.
"mom, dad."
"Brittany." mom said, coming in the hallway. " my grand baby." she said taking Aiden's carrier. I fallowed her in the living room.
"hi honey." dad said
"hi dad." I watched mom take aiden out of carrier "mom, he just fell asleep." I said
"I'm careful." she said.
"how's everything going?" dad asked.
"i'm starting to get lonely. The season started which means Sid's not home as much." I said.
"and you’re doing everything ."
"yeah, I mean.... He still helps, when he can.” i sat down. i watched mom holding him. he started to whine, and moved a little bit, then fell right back to sleep. i smiled
“he getting so big.” mom said
“yeah,”
“are you done breast feeding?” she asked,
“i started him on the formula, he seems to be taking it well.”
“you look tired.” mom said
“i am.”
“wheres Sidney?”
“practice, then he has away game tomorrow, so we thought come and see grandma, and grandpa”
“i’m so happy you did, i’ve missed him” mom said
“umm....i’ve been wondering have you guys talked to Aimee at all?” I asked
“she won’t talk to us.” mom said
“i don’t get why she mad at you, she the one who got married after, knowing a guy for six months.”
“i don’t know, where we went wrong” dad said
“you didn’t do anything wrong, she just doesn’t listen.” i said
“grandma, grandma” Carrie came running in the living room. Adam following behind.
“Carrie” I said
“aunt britty” she said, i opened my arms for a hug. then Aiden started to cry. i hugged her.
“Brittany” Adam said
“hey big brother.” i stood up, Aiden started screaming, “oh buddy....what’s that all about.” I took him, from mom. I grabbed his bag, and went in the kitchen. i got a bottle out and filled it up. i gave it to him. he put his hand on mine, i smiled at him.
“how you doing sis?”
“i’m good”
“Sidney?”
“he’s good”
“and this little guy?” he asked, touching aiden’s head.
“great” i smiled
“we’re all going to dinner, are you coming?” he asked
“ummm....sure let me just finish feeding him”
“okay” he said, after he was done i packed up, and we left. we got to the restaurant, i sat aiden and he carrier in one of them baby slings. he was still wide awake, which surprise me. we order, and we were all talking carrie was coloring. My phone started ringing i got in out aiden’s bag. it was Sidney.
“i’ll be right, can you watch him?” i asked, mom nodded. i got up,
“hello” i answered it, walking out to the hallway
“hey baby”
“hey, you at the hotel?”
“yeah, we’re getting ready to go to dinner. where are you it kind of loud?” he asked
“oh we went my parents, and us, adam, and carrie are out to dinner.”
“oh, that nice you get some time with your family.”
“yeah”
“how aiden?”
“he’s good” i smiled “he wide awake, he’s been wide awake, for awhile.”
“thats not normal”
“not at all” i laughed “but i’m hoping, that if he stays up, i get a good night sleep.” i smiled
“oh dang, and i’m not home”
“oh please, you’re in a peace and quiet hotel room” i said
“true, well not with James, he snores”
“so do you sometimes” i said
“no i don’t,”
“yes, you do, i sleep in the same bed with you every night, remember?”
“okay, okay but sometimes, not all the time“ he laughed
i laughed “ohhh”
“i should get going, we going to be leaving” he said
“okay”
“i love you”
“i love you too, bye”
“bye” i hung up the phone, and went back to the table.
That night Aiden slept really well, but he woke up at six in the morning, and didn’t go back to sleep. I was running around all day, Aiden wouldn’t take a nap, he was either just sitting there, or crying, mostly crying. i was trying to get clothes done, clean up alittle, and eat something. i couldn’t get it all done. Sid’s game was on at 5. I put a blanket on the floor and laid Aiden down, i laid down next to him. and turned on the game. i missed the first period. i grabbed, one of Aiden stuffed animals, and i started playing with him. i would touch. the stuffed animals, at to his nose. he giggled. I never seen any of the game.

Sid’s POV
I got home late that night, lights in the living room were on, i walked in, i could hear the tv on. I walked in the living room. Brittany and Aiden were both asleep, on the floor. i smiled, and put my bag down. i kneel down.
“babe” i put my hand on her back. “britt”
“umm”
“come on, lets go to bed.” i said
“ummm. what?” she jumped, hitting her hand off the coffee table “where Aiden?......ow” i grabbed her hand,
“he’s sleeping, are you okay?” i asked
“yeah, i was just in a dead sleep.” she said
“go to bed, i’ll take him to his room.”
“okay” she stood up, i grabbed Aiden and stood up. “oh, did you win?” she asked
“yeah” I smiled
“good job” she smiled, i laughed, she walked upstairs.

I walked outside, Tory was rocking Aiden, Aiden was crying. I smiled
"shhh" he said "oh, brittany" he looked at me. "i bet you want your mommy" he said to Aiden handing him to me.
"hey buddy" tory handed me his binky "thanks..........shhhhhh" i give him his binky. he would've take it. . i went to open the door, and sidney walked out.
"oh.....buddy what wrong?" he said carring a thing of food.
"hun.....can you bring his carrier in when you can, i'm gonna put him down."
"yupp, i'll be right in." I went in the house. I rocking him.
"sweetie...do you need help?" mom asked
"no, i got him."
"here, babe" sid said, setting his carrier on the table.
"thanks"i walked around downstairs. i sat down in the chair in the living room. i sat there rocking him, and patting his butt. About and housr later, he just got to sleep, so was I.
"babe" Sid whispered, i looked up "foods done"
"okay"
"did he just fall alseep?"
"yeah" I stood uo, we walkedin the dining room. i put Aiden in his carrier.
"do you think he'll be okay, if we leave the door open?" i asked

we walked outside, got plate. we were all taking, laughing.

Chapter 113
Three days later, Aiden and I were allow to go home.Sidney pulled into the driveway. We walked in the house Sidney was carrying Aiden, in his car seat. I was carrying his baby bag.
"you three are home" Trina came into the hallway. followed by my mom. sid and I took off our shoes. Sid put him on the coffe table. He unhooked Aiden,a nd took him out.
"how are you feeling?" mom asked me
"tired"
"its only the start of it."
"Sid came over to me. put one arm around me holding Aiden. I put my hand on Aiden's back.
"why don't you go get some sleep." sid said "let me feed him first." I said, taking aiden.
"i'll be back, i'm going to feed him." I told our moms, I started walking up the stairs.
"i'm coming too" Sid said, grabbing the baby bag. We walked in his room. I looked down at aiden. hes eyes wide open looking at me. i sat down in the chair. and started feeding him. I looked up at sid he was staring at me.
"Stop staring at me." I said
"why?" he asked "oh no! I wasn't looking at your boobs." he laughed

"I was just thinking how lucky I am." he said

"do you need your butt changed?"

"yes please, can you go upstairs and see if there is a blue hat, that can keep the
sun out of his eyes, while i change him?" I asked
"yupp" I grabbed his bag and walked in the living room, and laid him down and changed him. when I was done.
"there you go" I said, lifting him

"why did they go to the store for?" I asked standing up, picking everything up.

I got in a room, they were hooking me up with an IV, and up to all the monitor. i looked at Sid, he was watching everything they were doing. the doctor came and check me . I was only three centimeter dialated. After all the nurse, and doctor left. I let out a long breath. i looked at sid , he gave me a small smile. i smiled back. Another contraction came. I closed my eyes, let put a little moan.
"breath" he said, i did, he put his hand on my forehead. I looked up at him.
"are you going to be okay, if I go call everyone?"
"I'll be fine"
"are you sure?"
"yeah"
"okay" he kissed my forehead, and walked out of the room. I closed my eyes.

Sid's POV
I walked out of the room, pulled out my phone. First her parents. i pressed call. It rang about four times.
"hello" a half asleep answered

"what's wrong? it's three in teh morning."

'yeah, were at the hospital in pittsburgh."
"what did the doctor say?" she asked

I was now 6 centimeter dilated, I was in more pain then ever. I was on my side, gripping the side of the bed. Sid was rubbing my back. I kicked my parents out a while ago my mom was driving me nuts. I had tears in my eyes. I reached behind me.
"what do you want?" he said

"oh okay" he grabbed my hand, I squeezed.
"okay, Brittany are ready for the epidural?" I doctor asksed

"okay, we need to sit you up." Sid helped me up. I swang my legs around, they hang off the bed. They rubbed some stuff on my lower back. i grabbed Sidney four arms, and put my head to his chest.
"your going to feel a little pinch." the doctor said, i squeezed Sidney's arms tighter. He kissed my head, then I felt the pinch. i held a little tighter.
"okay, Brittany you can lay back down, it should start to work in about 20 minutes."
"Okay, thanks" I said, laying back down.
"your welcome" they cleaned up their stuff then lefted.
I looked at Sidney. I reached out for his hand. I ran my hand up his arm.
"sorry, I squeezed so tight"
"it's okay, your in pain" I kissed his hand
A little bit later, we were sitting there watching TV
"are you feeling anything?"
"not really"
"you should get some sleep, and i'm gonna go talk to your parents."
"okay" he kissed my forehead, and walked out of the room.
I looked at the clock it was almost 5 am. I put my head back and closed my eyes. about a hour later. I slowly opened my eyes. i looked over at Sid. he was sitting in a chair next to the bed. he was fast alseep. i smiled. I heard door open, i looked over. the doctor walked in.
"okay, Brittany"
"huh?" Sid said, jumping his sleep. i laughed
"how are you feeling?" she asked
"okay, little pressure."
"okay, i'm going to check you."
She did that
"Your 8 centimeter, i can see his , your almost there. in the next hour."
I nodded, and looked at Sid. he was looking at me.
"i'll be back in a little to check on check."
"okay" she lefted

Sidney went to talk to my and call his. While he was gone, I was starting to feel some more pressure. He came back, i smiled at him.

About 40 minutes later the doctor came back and check me.
"well Brittany, are you ready to have a baby?"
I smiled, let our a long breath.

The doctor and nurses got everything set up. Sidney went to tell my parents, and calls his. He came back, andwas next to me.

"i'm gonna tell you to push, then tell you to breath. "

"you got this" he whisper in my ear.

"push" the doctor said, then i felted releaved as a cry filled the room. I put my head back, then looked back down as she put him on my stomcah, i tears coming down my face. I put my hand on his belly and my other under his head.
"oh my god" Sid said, i looked at him, he was wipping his eyes.
"Sidney would you like to cut the cord?"
"yeah" she said, i watched him cut the cord, with the biggest smile on his face. then they took him to get cleaned up. I got cleaned up. i was now sitting up. Sid was watching them clean him off. I don't think he has taking his taking off of him.
A nurse turned around holding him in a blue blanket. She handed to Sidney, He turned around. Sid looked at me. i looked at Aiden.
"here" he said, placing aiden in my arms. I looked down at him, He has dark brown hair just like me and Sidney. I ran my hand over his forehead. I was crying. Sidney wipped a tear from my cheek.
"he's perfect" Sid said, he put his head, to mine we looked down at aiden.
"Aiden Matthew Crosby" I said, he kissed my cheek.
"do you want me to go get your parents?" he asked
"yeah" sid got up, and walked out. I looked down. "hey buddy" I kissed his forehead.
"where my grandson?" my mom asked, pretty ranning in the room. she came beside the bed. "awwe he's beautiful" I looked my dad, Adam, Aimee, and Carrie were in the room.
"Can I hold him?" mom asked
"yeah" I gave him to her.
"how are you feeling?" dad asked
"okay......tired"
"did it hurt?" Aimee asked

"oh my god name....name whats his name?"Mom asked. i laughed

Few minute after they left a nurse cam in and asked if she could take hime to the nursesy, I told her yead. After She left Sid looked at me.
"why'd you do that?" he asked

"go home, get a shower take a nap."

this is really, really, really small chapter but it something,I should start having more chapter up finals are over tomorrow and it my last day of High School EVER :( and I graduation is in two weeks. so tell me what you think. Soooo here it is...........

We got home. I took off my shoe off.
"I'm going to bed" i said
"okay, i'll be up" he said, kissing my forehead. I went upstairs, got changed, and got into bed. I wasn't feeling so good. I did get to sleep. I woke up to a sharp pain in the bottom of my stomcah. I sucked in a long breath, and put my hand on the bottom of my stomcah. i put my head back down, looked over Sid wasn't in bed. i was to tired to go looke for him. A while later, I was woke up by another sharp pain, it was stronger this time I sat up. Sid still wasn't in bed. I got up walked in the hallway, I took another deep breath, this one was longer. I though going down the stairs. I looked in the living room, the TV was on. He wasn't on the couch, there and blanket pushed down on the couch. The kitchen light was on. I waslked in the kitchen. Sid was infront of the frig. i put my head on his back, and put my hand on his hips. I felt tears coming, but i think it was more because i was scared.
"hey you" he said
"Sid" I said, my voice breaking up "i think it time" I said
"what?" he turned around
"I think it--" I stopped, as I felt water ran down my legs.
"why are my feet wet?" he asked, never looking away from my eyes.
"my water broke" I said, looking down.
"oh my god" he said, walking past me

"babe, your two weeks early "

We got to the hospital, Sid parked. I opened my door3 he got out grabbed my bag. he came around grabbed my hand help me out of the car. We started walking.
I squeezed his hand really tight.
"contraction?" he asked
"no" he looked at me

About Two weeks later, i was 4th of July we were getting ready to go to my parents.
I put on my shirt.
"I'm glad I get to see my parents."
"yeah, we haven't seen them in a while"
I stood infront of the mirror. i smooth my shirt over stomcah. I looked at myself in the mirror. I had on a pair of shorts, and a tank top. Sid put his arms around me. He had on tan shrots and a black t-shirt.
"are you ready?" he asked
"yeah"
"lets go" he kissed my cheek.
We got to my parents. We walked in the house. No one was in there.
"everyone must be outside"
we walked out back
"Brittany" mom said, she came up and hugged me
"hi mom" she put both her hands on my belly
"look at you"
"yeah"
my dad hugged me.
"how do you feel?" dad asked
"okay" then i walked to the table with mom
Later, I was watching Sid play cornhole, he was parnter with my dad.

"Brittany" I said, standing up, she went in the house

"you've talked to her enough in the last couple years." I looked at Max "you two back together?"
"yeah, for about a month"
"two weeksm she due in two weeks, she doesn't need this" I turned around and walked in the house.

Britt's POV
I walked int he kitchen
"sweetie" I turned around, mom was standing ther
"why is she here?" I asked
"well her mom is still on of my goods friends"
"okay, why did jessica come?"
"i'm not sure"
The door opened behind her. SId walked in
"oh" he said
"i'll leave you two alone." mom said and walked outside.
"are you okay?" he asked
"yeah, i'm ust pissed"
"calm down" he said, putting his his hand on my stomcah/ "i don't if I can handle you going into early labor, and i just relize that your due in two weeks"
I smiled
"I'm I overreacting?" I asked
"what?"
"Overreacting, with her I mean it been a couple years" I saidturning around "but all though high school, I was just her back-up friend, someone to talk to when she had a problem." I said turning back around "but the first person to turn her back on when there was a new boy came around"
"babe"
"then even when all that stuff happend to me, somehow when i think back she never though about me"

"and then when I finaly found a guy who liked me for me, and she tried to take him away from me. I'm so studpid to stay friends with him"

We went back outside

I said and she just stood there lookinf at me in shock, that really said that. I kinds of shock myself too. Then I just walked away, and smile to myself the i felt a pair of arms wrap around me. he put him face next to mine.
"i'm so pound of you" sid said, I laughed, he kissed my cheek
Then we went and finishing eating. Later I was sitting on the grass. with my legs strached out infront of me. i was dark. After I told Jessica what I felt. she lefted. Sidney came over after getting something to drink. he sat down next to me.
"how are you feeling?" he asked rubbing his head on my shoulder
"okay tried" I said, he put his drink on the other side of him, he leaned down and kissed my stomcah. I put my hand in his hair he leaned back up i kept my hand in his hair.
"are you ready for him?" he asked
"yeah, but... i'm scared" I said
"hey " he put his hand on my leg "there no reason to be scared, i'm going to be right there, beside you the whole time."
"thank god, i don't know if I could do this if you were on a road trip."
"well you have nothing to worry about, i'm not going anywhere." I smiled, he leaned in and kissed me, my hand that was on the back of his head, moved to his shoulder. When his lip lefted mine. i looked at him. i laughed, he smiled
"i lov--"
"Sidney" my dad cut him off. he looked behind. "Can you help me with these fireworks?"
"yeah" he yelled "i'll be back" he said getting up

"yeah" he said looking down
"i love you too" i said, he smiled , he went and helped my dad.
Alittle while later , Sid sat back down next me.
"your not going to help light them?" I asked
"no, he said to go and enjoy them with my beautiful wife."
"shut up" i pushed him, he laughed
"you are beautiful" he said, kissing my cheek. then a firework went off. he looked up. I looked at him. i didn't stop looking at him. He's so handsome. he was smiling, I was thinking how lucky i am, and he put his hand on my leg, I smiled, then i felt the baby kicked, which made me smile more. he looked at me.
"what?" he asked
i shook my head "noth--"
"Unlce Sid" Carrie yelled and jumped on sid lap.
"Oh, Sweetie" he said, I was susprize that she was so easy around, i mean we see her, but not alot.she loved sid.
"where daddy?" I asked
"what pappy doing the friework" she said sitting on sid lap.
"oh, tell unlce where the baby is." I said
"right here" she said, putting her hand on my stomcah.
"really there a baby in there?" sid asked, i smiled "how do you know?"
"my daddy told me."
"yeah?"
"yeah" she said "Daddy said I was in my mommy belly, but he won't tell wheere shes at." she said, i looked at sid he looked at me. "do you where my mommy is?"

When the fireworks were finish, sid lifted carrie off his lap.

I fixed my shrit, and ran my small of my back. we sat with everyone at the table we sat, talked, laughed. I looked around at everyone carrie was asleep in adam's arms. i yawned,and sat in a chair. I was started to feel sick. I looked back at sid who was laughing with my dad.
"sweetie, are you okay" i looked, my mom was stanid there
"yeah, i'm fine"

about an hour later, i looked back at sid again
"honey" i yawned, putting my hand out to him.
"yeah" he said, grabbing my hand walking over to me "what's up"
"can we go home?"
"oh yeah" he said "are you feeling okay?" he asked putting his hand on my cheek

"why didn't you say something earlier? " he asked, helping me up.
"you were having fun."

I went to said bye to my mom and dad, then I came up to my brother.

Britt's POV

The rest of the week was great,we relax, visited his family. we got home in Pittsburgh.

I was washing clothes. Sidney had a doctor apppiontment about his concussion, that he
refused to talk about.

I was taking a load of a clothes out of the dryer. I oushed the basket with my foot.

"Brittany!"

"upstairs!"

"Britt.......Brittany"

"what?"

"Brittany!" he yelled coming around the bend.

"Sidney" he grabbed me and kissed me.

"what did that doctor give you?"

"more like what he told me."

"what?"

"guess who allow to start working out" he said with the biggest smile.

"Sidney" I smiled, and pulled him into a hug.

"and he said I can start working out, and I can strat ice trianing like i would
normally" i pulled back, I grabbed his face, adn kissed him.

"I'm so proud of you." he smiled

"when are you going to start?" I asked

"after Marc and V wedding" he said "I feel like I can do anything"

"don't push it"

"I won't"

"but can you take this basket to the bedroom."

"yupp" he picked it up "hey?"

"yeah?" I asked, he looked at me.

"for what?"

"for sticking by me, not talking about it when i asked you not to."

"anything for you." I put my hand on back and rubbed it. "you can fold them, while I
put another load in."

"babe" he laughed as i walked away.

Later I finished washing the baby bedding and a few blankets I put the bedding on the
bed.

"hey, you put it on." Sid said walking in the room.

"yupp, I washed it and a few blankets." I said holding a blanket "see feel" i said
putting it on his face. he smiled

"your getting excidted" he said

"a little, but i'm scared. "

"about what?"

"the birth"

"there nothing to be scared about, i'll beside you the whole time."

"but what if something goes wrong?"

"heyy, theres nothing to be worried about, and you can't think about that." he said
rubbing my shoulder. i closed my eyes. "there nothing to be worried about, i
promise." i looked at him, he pulled me into a hug. I put my head on his chest.



A week later, we were in Canada for Marc and V wedding. We got into our hotel room.

"you look tired." Sid said

"i am, but I have to make V to help her with some stuff."

"when?" he asked, then there was a knock at the door.

"now" I said, sid went and opened the door.

"Sid" she said

"Hey V" She walked in.

"Brittany?" She ran, and hugged me.

"Easy" Sid said, i laughed

"let me see you" she pulled away "girl looks like your going to pop"

"thank you" I laughed

"Look" Sid said "She going with you, don't let her over do it."

"V, I mean it"

"Okay" she looked at me "is everything okay?"

"yeah" I said "Were going." I told Sidney "okay"

We walked out in the hallway.

"whats going on?"

"the doctor told me my blood pressure a little high before we left and took me to
take it easy."

"are you okay?"

I went with Vero, and Sid met up with Marc.

After I was done helping V. I went back to the hotel. Sid wasn't back yet. i got a
shower, changed, then got stright into bed.



Sid's POV

I got back to the hotel after hanging out with Marc. i walked into the hotel room.
All the light were out. i looked at the bed. Brittany was asleep. The blankets were
half way off of her. I took off my shoes, and covered her up all the way. Then took
my oants off and climed into bed.

"mmm" she said, pressingher face in my shoulder.

The next morning, i woke up. Brittany was still sleeping, her back was towards me. i
put my hand on her shoulder nad kissed her cheek. I got up and got a shower. When I
got out. Brittany was up. She was going though a suitcase.

"What are you looking for?" I asked putting my arms around her.

"Clothes" she said, i rubbed my hands on the side of her stomcah.

"how are you felling?" I asked

"okay, tired" she said, rubbing her eyes. "are you readying?" she asked

"yeah." I kissed her cheek.



Britt's POV

We been there for a while, I was talking to V mom.

"So how far along are you?" She asked

"eight months"

"oh, your close"

"oh yes"

"when are you due?"

"July 12"

"Mom are you bugging my friend?" Vero Asked

"no were just talking" I said

"yeah" her mom said walking away

"are you excidted?" I asked

"yeah" she smiled and nodded

"I just can't believe your having a small wedding."

"why?"

"because you and marc, your like the two loudest people I know"

"I don't know"

She laughed

"hey, the dinner was very good, great choices"

"thanks, are you okay you look tired."

"i am, but i'm okay" then I felt someone rub my back. i look behind me. Sid was
walking to a table. He smiled at me. I smiled back, and he walked past me.

"speaking of tired, are you staying with me at my mom?"

"well, I rather stay at the hotel with Sidney, if that okay."

"thats fine, your pregnant, you want to with your husband." She said "i understand,
but hey i'll talk to you later." she said, I walked over to the table, and sat down.
I put my on top of my belly. He was starting kick really hard. I let out a breath.

"buddy, your supposed to slow down." I said, I closed my eyes. then I felt a arm
across my lap.

"hey" Sidney said, I opened my eyes, he looked at me.

"hi" I said, he just give me that look like 'whats wrong?' i grabbed his other hand
and put in on top of my stomcah.

he nodded "do you want to you go?"

"i don't know"

"she'll understand"

"I just feel bad leaving"

"She'll understand, that your not feeling well."

"it's not that, I feel--"

"uncomfable" he said

"yeah"

"lets go" he said, standing up, and holding his hand out for me. i took it he helped
me up.

We said our gooybye. We got to the hotel, and went to bed.

The Next morning, We got up early I made my way to V's mom. i got dress into this
blue dress. i was getting my hair curled. V walked out in her dress. I turned around.

"you look beautiful"

"thank you, you too"

"thanks"

"Sweetie, are you ready to go?" her mom asked

"yeah."

we got there. There wedding was beautiful.

Later we were at the party. I found Sid sitting at a table. I put my hand on his
shoulder, and sat on his lap.

"my feet hurt so bad." I said, putting my arms around his neck.

"did I tell you how beautiful you are?" he asked

"yes, you told me." I smiled "you know what you need to do"

"what?"

"have fun"

"what?"

"have fun, let loose, even since i got pregnant you'e been so up tight, and not doing
anything."

"I'm having fun"

I gave him a look. "look at your friends" I said looking at the dancefloor. where
half of the guys were dancing. "and your sitting here drinking what a coke, anything
else in there?"

"ice" he said

"anything else?"

"no"

"dance, drink"

he laughed, "what about you?"

"i can dance, I'm pregnant, not handycapped" I got up "and you know i'm suspized you
haven't asked me yet?" he looked up at me.

"what you like to dance?" he asked standing up.

"I thought you would never ask." I smiled, and he laughed. he grabbed my hand, and
pulled me to the dance floor, he pulled me close, and looked down. I looked down
then back up at him. he smiled.

"few more week" he said

"yeah"

"you've been okay"

"i've been fine. you know that, you've been with me. Just......a little tired."

"yeah, I could tell."

the music started getting faster.

"you know what?" he asked spinning me

"what?"

"i love you"

"i know that" I smiled "i love you too"

"aww, look at you two al cute, and couple like." a half drunk max said, putting his
arms around us.

"we are a couple" I laughed

"Sid I haven't talked to you in forever"

"yeah, it's been awhile"

"dude, come hare a drink" Max said

"thats what i'm talking about." I said looking at Sid

"okay, come on man" Max said putting his hand on his shoulder, they walked to the
bar.

I went to sit down, I kicked off my shoes.

Danced with V for a littler bit. Couple hours later, I was sitting. I watched Sidney
take a shot. I'm glad he was loosening up. he looked at me. then walked over to me.
he kissed my cheek.

"your beautiful" he whispered in my ear, he was getting drunk

I laughed "thank you"

"you are the most beau---" I put my finger on his lips, he smiled then I kissed him.

"Come on" he pulled me up, and out on the dance floor.

"careful" I said

"I am"

After the dance

"you want something to drink?" He asked

"no i'm good" I said "watch out" I said, as he almost tripped he laughed, and I went
back to the table. i wasn't sure how much longer, I could be on my feet.

less than a hour later. Sid came over to me.

"you want to go back to teh hotel?"

"yeah"

We told Marc, and V Goodbye.

When we got back to the hotel. Sidney tripped in and sat on the bed. I giggled at
him.

"can you unzip this?" I asked lifting my hair, and turning around.

"yeah" he reach up and unzipped it

"thanks you" I slipped put of my dress, andput on a pair of shorts and a shirt. I sat
on the bed. Sid took off his shoes.

"oh god my feet hurt" I said, grabbing my foot. he looked at me, and grabbed my foot
out of my hand and started rubbing it. I smiled then her ran his hand up the inside
the of my leg. I grabbed his hand and shook my head. He smiled, and leaned up and
kissed me. I laughed , then laid down. I got under the blankets. he wrapped his arms
around me.

The next morning, I rubbed my eys then looked at Sid, his face was pressed into the
pillow. I put my hand on his back.

"Sidney" I whisper "Sid"

"mmm"

"Honey"

"what?" he asked, opening one of his eyes

"we have to get up and get ready to go home."

"mmmm" he said, rubbing his face in his pillow

"hungover?"

"stop yelling"

"i'm not yelling" I whispered, and kissed his neck.

"Why do you want to get up?" he asked

"because, our plane is in two hours, adn i want to got home."

Later that day, I was sitting on the dock, reading. then I felt a pair of lips on my cheek. I jumped, he laughed

"easy.....its me"

"what are you doing?" i asked

"i'm going to fish" he said, grabbinf the pole, he kneel down to put bait on the the
line. he asked out the line. i sat there watching him, he looked out the corner of
his eye, the looked at me.

"what?"

"nothing" I smiled, i put my hand out

"help me?"

"yupp" he grabbed my hand, i got on my feet.

"i'm gonna go to the bathroom."

"again"

"yes again, stop making fun of me." i hit him lightly, he laughed

I got in the house, when I was washing my hands, the door bell rang. i dried my hands
real quick. I opened. i opened the door.

"Mike, hi"

"hey, Brittany"

"how are you--- woah-" he looked down. I laughed

"I didn't know you and Sid were--"

"yupp"

"how far along are you?"

"mmm, come on" he walked in. "abouy 36 weeks"

"wow; your almost due?"

"Mike!" I yelled as mike walked down the hill. "how have you been?"

"i've been good, and your going to be a dad."

"I heard you were back in town, and i wanted to know if you wanted to go do
something."

"yeah, ummm....i love to" I said "let me put, this stuff away." I rolled in my line.
I put everything away. i walked in the house, went in the living room, Brittany was
sitting on the couch. i put my arms around her shoulders.

"mmmm.....hey" she smiled

"i'm going to go out with mike for a while, if thats okay?"

"yeah, thats fine."

"are you sure, your could come, eh"

"no.....no i'm not up for it, you go have fun."

she put her hand in my cheek, and moved my face to her lips.

"we're gonna get going?"

"okay" i kissed her. Then we left we went to this bar.

We were there for about an hour and a half.

"Sid looseing up" Mike said

"your still on your first beer." he said "she fine"

"It's just she really far along maybe I shouldn't have come." I said putting my beer

Rest of the night was good. When I got home all the lights were out.

"yeah, its me" I said, walking in the living room, the TV was on, she was sitting on
the couch. She looked at me.

"hey" I went around the couch, and sat down, I put my arm around her, she leaned into
me. she grabbed my hand.

"popcorn?" she asked handing the bowl to me. "I thought you would be out longer?"

"babe, its 12:30"

"yeah?"

"yeah, hey what are you still doing up, I though you be in bed."

"Couldn't sleep" I kissed her forehead, and kicked off my shoes, and put my feet on
the table. We fell asleep watching TV.

The next morning, I woke up, I was sitting up on the couch. I looked over, Brittany
was gone. I rubbed my eyes, and I smelled bacon I got up walked in the kitchen.
Brittany was standing infront of the stove. I put my arms around her.

"morning handsome" she said

"morning"

"want some food?"

"yeah" I let go of her, and turned her around. she smiled. I kissed her.

"what was that for?" hse asked

"I felt like it." she smiled, and went back to work.

Two days later we went to my parents for dinner.

We were sitting in the living room.

"mom, where taylor?" I asked

"She is on a date" mom said, coming out of the dinning room.

"a date!" Brittany said trying to get up to help my mom. I helped her. "thanks"

"a date?" I asked "isn't she to young to go on dates." I said, following mom in the
kitchen.

"this James kid, but Sidney"

"but what if this who ever she with." i said "who is she with?" i asked going in the
kitchen.

"his name is Anthony, he plays football, and hockey, he gets good grade, and he seems
really nice." mom said

"well what if the anthony kid trys something." I said

"Sid, Tay's a smart girl" Britt said putting her hand on my arm.

"thank god you two are having a boy right now." mom said and i watched her walk out
of the room with my mouth open.. I looked at Brittany she was smiling.

"you know what--" i said grabbing Brittany. she laughed. I kissed her forehead.

After dinner, we were walking to the car. I put my arms around Brittany, i put my
head on her shoulder, she smiled. i kissed her neck. .

"want to get some ice cream?" i asked

"don't have to ask me twice" i smiled



We got our ice creams, we were walking away from teh window.

"you know you have been eating alot of sweets lately." she said

"well its kind of hard, with you."

"hey!" she pushed me.



We walked ouver to a picnic table. I sat on top of the table, she sat on the bench.
she put her hand on my knee.

We sat there eatingm then i looked up, I thought i saw taylor standing in line.

"Is that Tay?" I asked, Britt looked up.

"yeah, i wonder if she still on her date?" as soon as she said that, this tall boy
came next to Taylor. "i guess so"

"maybe we should go say hi" I said getting up

"oh no" Brittany Said grabbing my wrist. "Oh!" I turned around, she was now standing
up

"nothing, its just my back.sit down, leave her alone." I sat down, I was watching
taylor and her date. he put her arm around her.

"look there goes his arm."

"calm down" Brittany tightin her hand on my leg. "taste this" she said holding the
cone. I went to lick it, she slammed it in my face, i smiled, she laughed "there that
smile" she said, i went to clean my face. "no" she started kissing my face, I laughed

We finished our ice cream.

"their still sitting there." I said, Brittany stood up.

"and were going to go stright to the car, okay" she grabbed my hand.

"fine" I got up

"When we gget hime, i'm going stright to bed." Brittany yawned, I turned around
walking backwards.

"i like the sound of that."

"and go to sleep" she grabbed me.

"come on, just fool around alittle." I put my hands on her hips.

"no" she laughed,then I ran into somebody i went forwards towards Brittany I put my
arms around her. I turned around.

"oh.....Sorry"

"Sid" tay said, I let go of Brittany, and crossed my arms. "hey Britt"

"yeah, i'm ready for him to be here already." Britt said rubbing her belly.

"who your friend?" I asked looking at the tall boy. when i said that, Brittany
grabbed my tigh. I jumped, and looked at her. she rised her eyebrows, at me. I shook
my head.

"mmmm Sid, Brittany this is Anthony, Anthony is my brother Sidney, and his wife
Brittany."

"hello" Brittany Said

"hi" he said "Sidney Crosby its really nice to meet you, your a great hockey player."

"thanks, nice to meet you too."

we just stood there for a sec.

"mmm....well we were just heading home, you two have fun" Brittany said, grabbing my
arm.

"see ya" Tay said

"yeah, bye Tay" I said

"nice meeting you anthony" Brittany said

"you too"

We walked away.

"what was that?" I asked, walking to the car.

"they need to be alone."

"no they don't"

"you need to calm down." she let go of my hand, getting in the car.



In the middle of the night, I woke up to an empty bed. I got up and went downstairs.
looked in the living room nothing. then the kitchen she was standing in front of the frig. with the freeze door open. I walked befind her.

"didn't we get ice cream today." I said, she jumped.

"don't do that" I laughed

Sorry for no updates, I play softball, and we have been practicing for about two months, but now we have it six days a week now instead of four days a week, and with school, and others clubs. I'm going to try to write and update on Saturday nights, and Sundays. the next month everything was good. Sidney wasn't doing any trianing. the guyslost
the first round of playoffs, everyone was back at there hometowna, i was just me and
sidney.

"babe?" he yelled

"upstairs" i yelled back. I was putting sheets on our bed. he walked in. I looked at
him. he throw his bag on the floor. i smiled at him.

"hey" he said, putting his hand on the small of my back, and kissed me.

"hey" i said

"need help?"

"please"

he helped me put the sheets on, the bed. I went to hand him the cover, he grabbed me.

"Sid" i laughed, he laid me on the bed. , he laid next to me. he moved a piece of
hair from my face. he kissed me.

"Okay, Okay" I said "i can't lay on my back" he laughed "not funny" I said moving on
my side. "I feel like everything just pushed up in my face" he lifted up my shirt and
placed his hand on my belly.

"he's moving"

"yupp" I said "look" I moved his hand and you could see my stomcah moving.

"I know, you want to stay here until after the baby born, but do you think we
couldmaybe go to cole harbour for a little bit, I know you might not be up for it,
but we could have fun."

"Sid, I don't ....would we really have any fun."

"well it will be our last time alone before he comes, he'll be here for our first
anniversary."

"i hope"

"what"

"well, i'm due july 12, he could be late."

"yeah, and we have Ashley and Kris wedding July 10."

"yeah, if i'm laying in a hosipal bed."

"true" he kissed my forehead. "and Marc, and V's is June 29th"

"yeah"

i put my head in his neck, he put his arm around me.

"but i was talking to my mom yesurday, and she can't get over the fact that were
having a baby."

"i can't believe it" i said. "well i can, i just" I said, looking at him "i don't
know" he smiled

"so cole harbour?" he asked

"yes"

"really?"

"yeah" I kissed him.

he got up, then helped me up

"so what the doctor say?" i asked

"nothing, i'm okay"

We finish making the bed. He was leaving the room.

"what do you say we leave in a week?" I asked

"sound good" he said

Over the week we got ticket, adn we were packing. well i was packing sidney was at
the doctors. my mo was over.

"Brittany, i don't think this is a good idea." mom said

"mom, i'm gonna be fine."

"what if something happends, your at a place you don't know that much about."

"Sid and I talked about everything, and my doctor said everything okay."

"I just don't like you leaving the states with you like this."

"mom, i'm not due for about two and a half months."

"babe" Sidney walked in the room. "oh, hey anne" he said, then giving her hug. "hey
you" he came over to me and give me a small kiss.

"Can you check them, that what I packed for you?" i said sidney start going though
the suitcase. "mom, Sid and I just want to get away, before he comes.Sid, been though
alot this year" I said, Sidney stopped what he was doing for a second, then went back
to what he was doing. "he needs this, , if anything."

Sid walked over to the closet, I put more clothes in the suitcase.

"just you on a plane"

"i'll be--"

"anne, I promise you nothing bad is going to happen to her or himm i'll make sure of
that." Sid said coming out of the closet,

"okay, okay, i'm not going to argue"

I just looked at her.

The day we were leavingm, we sat down in our plane. Once we got in the air, and we
allowed to take our seatbelts off. Sidney had his laptops on his lap we were watching
a movie. I had a headphone in so did he. Half way though that movie I took the
headphone out and started to look thoughout the plane. I didn't feel right. I looked
at Sid.

"you okay?" he asked

"i don't feel good" I ran my hands though my hair. I ajusted myself in the seat.

"air sick?" he asked

"i don't know"

"why don't you go to the bathroom."

"yeha" I stood up

"be careful"

"i will"

I went then got back to my seat. I ended up throwing up.

"everything okay?" sid asked

"yeah, i'll be fine"

We laned, his parents picked us up and took up to out house. i was so smpty and
quite. i walked in the living room. and sat on the couch. I still wasn't feeling
good.

"go take a nap" Sid said, kissing my forehead. I took a deep breath, gave him a small
smile.

"i'm going upstairs."

"okay" he helped me up

I went upstairs, got into bed and fell right alseep. Whenever I woke I opened my
eyes, the lights went out. I felt the bed move. I turned my head. Sid was getting in
bed. he looked at me.

"look whos up" he said

"hey" he kissed my forehead and put his arm uder my head "what time is it?"

"ahh, about ten" he looked at his phone.

"ten, I sleep all afternoon"

"yupp"

"i'm sorry" i said

"you have no reason to be sorry"

"I must have been more tired then I thought."

"how are you feeling?"

"Okay"

"What did you do today?"

"went shopping"

"shopping?"

"yeah, we needed food"

I smiled

"and did some fishing"

"did you catch anything?"

"no"

I put my face in his shoulder. I fell asleep. i woke up in the middle of the night.
Sid was asleep, his head was on top of mine. I slipped out of bed, I looked at Sid's
phone it was 1:30. i went downstairs. I went in the kitchen. I open the freezer,
there was a thing or ice cream.

"oh god, i look him." I said

After I was done, i got back into bed. I snuggled up to Sid. he put his arm around
me.

"everything okay?" he mumbled

"yeah" he put his hand on my belly.

"oh hes up"

"oh yeah" I laughed, the was kicking really fast

The next morning, i wooke, I rolled over, Sid back was towards me, he was sleeping. I
watched him. He moved on his back, still asleep. i watched him just breathe. i put my hand on his chest. I moved my hand up. I kissed his neck.

"mmm" he said, I kissed him again. "mmm" he opened hi eyes. "good morning"

"morning" I said, I put my hand on his cheek. i kissed him. he grabbed the back of my
head, and kissed me back.

"ow....oh" I said, feeling a storng pain.

"what?...What?" he asked, his eyes got wide.

"calm down, he just kicked." i sat up "really hard" I put my hand on my stomcah. "you
know 8months, were at 8 months" I said "and" I took a deep breath "i'm ready for him
to be here" i looked down at him.

"yeah" he rubbed my stomach

"whats up" I asked he sat up next to me.

"i've always wanted to be a dad, and when you toldme you were pregnant."

"the lovely way I did"

he laughed "but when you told me, I was scared out of my mind, but now I think i'm
ready."'

I smiled at him

"what made you get over it? "

"I think i was between time, hearing, his heartbeat, feeling him kick, and you."

I kissed his cheek. i put my head on his shoulder, he kissed my gorehead, and put his
hand on the top of stomcah. i linked my hand with his.

Chapter 106

we got home

"go get shower" I told him

"okay" he walked upstairs

I felt so bad for him, all he wants to do is play again,, and I can't do anything
for him.

I want upstairs to the baby's room. i sat on the floor, and I started pulling out
clothes and folding them, and putting then on hangers.

"hey" i looked up, Sidney was standing there "need a hand?" he asked

"nah. i got it" I said, trying to get up with pile of clothes.

"here" he helped me up.

"thanks"

"yupp" I put the clothes away.

"how you feeling?"

"okay--" he said "Britt"

"yeah," i turned around, he put a arm out, his eyes started to close.

"Bri---"

"Sidney" I yelled, i ran up to him, i grabbed him. I throw his arm around me. his
body went limp. "Sid" I looked at him, his eyes were closed "Hun, plaese wake up" 2e
started to get really heavy. I lower him to the floor. I laid him on the florr.
"Sidney" I was so scared to deeath i didn;t know what to do , so I called 911,
because i couldn't carry him to the car. I sat down next to him, with a wet towel on
his head. "Sidney"

When they got there, I followed them in my car, which might have not been the best
idea. i couldn't stop shaking. When I got there I waited for the doctor. I try to sit
but i couldn't even though my back was killing me. I just kept think 'i can't lose
him, I can't lose him'

"Mrs, Crosby"

I looked up, a doctor was standing there.

"yes, " I said "is he okay?"

"Yes, he going to be fine but he going to have to take it easy. it part of having a
concussion, we have him on IV now."

"is he awake?"

"yeah, he been asking for you, down the hall thrid door on the left."

"thank you" I said

I walked down the hall and looked in the room. Sid was laying there with his eye
closed.

I walk in beside the bed, and grabbed his hand, he jumped alittle, and opened his
eyes.

"sorry" I whisper

"no, it;s fine"

"are you okay?" he asked

"i'm fine" I put my hand on the side of his face. I kissed his cheek. "I was so
scared" I said into his ear.

"i'm sorry" he said "but i'm okay" I kissed he temple

"how long do you have to be in here?" I asked looking at him.

"at least over night"

I nodded, "do you want me to call anybody?"

"my parents, and I think doctor at the arena were already told."

"Okay, i'll be back" I kissed his cheek and let go of his hand.

I went and called his parents. I told them everything was okay now, and that they
didn't need to come down. I came back in his room, his eyes were shut. I sat down in
the chari next to the bed. his eyes opend and looked at me.

"go to sleep"

"I dont't want to sleep"

"but your tired"

"i know"

I stood up, I run my hand thouh his hair.

"mmm" he said, and shut his eyes, few minutes later, he was asleep.

Couple hours later, i was laying an the couch that was aganist the wall. I couldn't
get to sleep/ then I got up, on sat in the chair. I put my hands on the top of my
belly.

"go home" I looked over at sid "go home" he said again.

"no"

"babe, go home get into bed"

"no, i'm staying here.. with you"

he gave me a small smile "okay"

I fell asleep in the chair, The next morning I woke up. I opened my eyes, and rubbed
them. I yawned i looked over at sidney, he was looking at me

"hey" he said.

"hey, how'd you sleep?"

"okay, it was off and on. you?"

"okay" I tried to move in the chair. "oh"

"you okay?"

"i'm kinda of sore."

he reach for my hand, i grabbed it.

"i'm gonna go for a walk, okay"

"you okay?"

"yeah, i just got to move"

"okay"

I got up. I walked out of the room.I walked outside.

"Britt" I turned, Marc and Vero was walking up.

"hey"

"are you okay?"

"yeah."

"how sid?" Marc asked

"he's okay"

"what happend?"

"he fanited that it"

"can i see him?"

"yeah" I said walking back in, Vero came up beside me.

"are you sure your okay?"

"yeah, i'll be okay"

We walked in his room.

"look who I found" I said

"hey. man" Sid said

"good"

I looked at Sidney, he gave me a small smile, we sat there and talked for a while. A
nurse camee in and checked on him a couple of time. After about hour and a half Marc,
and Vero left. they walked put of the room. I looked at Sid.

"I'm okay" he said

"I'm just worried"

"you need to stop worrying, its not good for you" he put his hand on my stomcah.

"Mr.Crosby" The doctor said walking in the room. Sid took his hand off my stomcah.
"everything looks good, just take it easy, and you can go home."

"thank good" he said "thanks doctor"

"yes, thank you" I said

"your welcome"

Sidney got changed, he signed some papers.

When we were getting out of the car when we got home i got out and went straight over
to sidney side to help him, but he was already out of the car. We got in the house.
