Chapter 89

They called for my mom and Sid's, Me and the girls made our way outside. i was started to get ready nervous. I was taking deep breaths.

"your going to be okay." Vero said

"i know"

then girls started walking down the aisle.

"you okay?" i looked beside my dad was standing there.

"yeah"

"you look beauitful."

"thank you" I could see the tears in his eyes.

"Dad, don't do that, i don't want to cry yet."

"I don't know if I could do that." He said "are you ready?" he asked as I heard the music start.

"yeah" I grabbed his arm, we turned the bend, i looked up and my eyes fell on
Sidney. he smiled, i smiled, and out my head down, then looked back up, we got down
the alise. dad shook sidney hand. Dad kissed me on my cheek, and handed my hand to
Sid. I handed my flowers to my sister. he grabbed my hand trighter. I looked at him.
he smiled at me.

"today were here to join this man and this women together, they have desided to say

something from the heart.. Sidney your first."

"okay" Sid said, taking a deep breath we faced eachother, he got inside his jacket
and pulled out a piece of paper. he looked at me and took a breath.

"Britt" he said, I smiled "I knew when I met you won't like most girls when you
wouldn't look at in the eyes, or talk to me. but, I got you to." he said "even after

I hit youu wioth a volleyball and about ran you over, and even today I knocked the
wind out of you." I laughed "the point is I fell in love with you, I knew that I was
going to spend the rest of my life with you when I told you that I loved you for the
first time." i feel the tears coming. "when I knew it was time to purpose I
waitedfor a few months for the right moment, Wheni did I was never so nerous in my
life other then now." I laughed tears felling down my face, he reached up and wipped
my face. "i can't' wait to spend the rest of my life with you, and see what it
brings us. I love you, beauitful." Then Sidney looked at the guy that doing the
wedding, then looked at me.

"Brittany"

Aimee handed me, my piece of paper, and I just started crying, i opened the paper I
wiped off my face.

"Sorry" I smiled. Sid smiled and shook his head.

"Si" i took another deep breath. "Sidney" I smiled "before I met you, I was a mess I
didn't know what to do with myself, but when I met you, you opened me up, to a
person, even though i can still be the same person, and you got me to move on with
the rest on my life, even when my past came back to huant me, you were there though
the whole thing, anyways I never thought I would trust a man or love him, or love
anybody, then I found you, well you found me." he smiled, I could see the tears in
my eyes, that you could tell he was holding them back. "and i don;t know what told
me to 'trust him' but i did, and i'm glad i did, and I can't wait to start a family
and spend the rest life with you. I love you.....handsome" he smiled, I wipped my
face. we faced away from eachother.

"Do you, Sidney , take Brittany to be your wife? Do you promise to love, honor,

I looked at Sid, he smiled and put his hand on the back of my neck. I put my hands
on his face,and he kissed me, we broke apart. i looked him with both smile, everyone
was clapping. Sidney turned behind me, away from everyone. I looked at him his hand
went up to his face, i grabbed his hand and wipped a tear off his face, he looked at
me. I smiled, he laughed and he wipped a tear from my face.

"I cpuld tell you were crying" i smiled

"i love you" he said

We turned to everyone. I looked at my mom, she was standing up, wiping tears away, I
looked Sid's parents. Trina was doing th esame thing.

"for the first time i give you Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Crosby"

Sidney grabbed my hand, and we walked down the aslie, we got to the end. Sid grabbed
me. He smiled and shook his head.

I smiled "and your mine." He kissed me. We took Picture with the wedding party and
family by the lake . After they got most of the chair out of the way from the
wedding was in front of the lake. me and Sidney were walking on the dock that were
our picture were getting taking.

"oh god, please don't let me fall." I said holding my dress and flowers in my hand.
and Sidney holding the other.

"i'd never let you fall." he said. I smiled

we took some on the bench on the dock, and more.

When we were done, everyone was in the tent, but the wedding party. they started
calling them out. I looked at Sid, he ran he hand though his haor and put his arm
around me.

"and your my husband" he grabbed me, I smiled, he leaned towards me, I put my hand
to his forehead and wipped it off.

"you hot?" I asked

"yeah, i can't wait to get this jacket off."

I kissed him.

then I heard the DJ start talking about us.

"thats us" I said

We walked out, I gripped Sid hand tighter Everyone stood up and was clapping. I
laughed looking at Sid. He grabbed me, and kissed me.

Later everyone was eating. i took a drink of my champagne, i looked at sidney. he
took a bit of his food, then looked at me. I smiled

"what?" he asked

"nothing" i said, then he put his lips to my ear.

"by the way, you look beautiful" he kissed my neck. I laughed

"you look handsome." I said, he smiled.

After we were done we went around talking, we got apart fromeachother. I sat down
with his grandmothers.

"Hi. Nanny Crosby, Nanny Forbes"

"Hi sweetie." Nanny Crosby said "you look beautiful"

"thank you" I smiled "do you two enjoy everything so far?"

"yeah, it was beautiful" she said

We talked for awhile then I got away from people and got a drink.

"can we please have the bride and groom come to the floor for thier first dance."
the DJ said

I looked at the dance floor. i seen Sidney standing there. i put down my glass down
and picked up my dress, and walked to the dance floor.

"i'm coming" i said, Sid laughed. i stepped on the dance floor, and the song
started 'bless the broken road' Sidney put out his hand out. I gave him my hand, and
he pulled me in. i put my hand on his shoulder and put his on my waist. i looked in
his eyes he pulled my closer. he kissed my cheek. He made his way on the lowest part
of my back, and my handwas on the back of his neck, ranning my fingers in his hair.
i looked up at him.

"i can't believe this" I said

"what?"

"that I get to spend the rest of my life with you." he smiled, then kissed me.

"i love you" he said

When the song was over, he looked at me. i kissed him, then let go.

"now,can we have the father of the groom, and the mother of the bride, please come
to the dance floor"

My mom and tory came to the dance floor, the dong started. Sidney started damcing
with my mom. Me and tory were okay, he never really showed any emotions about the
wedding. Then he stuck out his hand I gave him my hand. we started dancing.

"Brittany"

"huh?" I asked

"I wanted you know that I might not have acted like i'm not happy with all this, but
i am. I love that he is so happy, and I am more happy that your in the family."

"thank you" i said

"I never had everthing against you."

"May I" I looked over my dad standing there.

"you may" Tory said, I smiled and I looked at Sid, he was dancing with his mom now.

A little later, i was sitting on Sid's lap, he had his arms around me. I put my
hands on the back of his neck and kissed him. He pulled me tighter. i laughed and
kissed him again.

"i love you " I said, he smiled

"you two ready for cake?" Trina asked, I looked at Sidney

"yeah" we went up there.

"before we do this, I have a sursipe for you." i said, he looked down at me.

"what?" he asked

"i got you a grooms cake?" they brought it out.

"a what?"

"a cake for you" is aid, the cake looked great.

"oh, wow" he said, walking over to it. i followed him "thats so cool" he said, i
grabbed his hand.

"i wanted to add more hocke, I know we got the chocolate hockey pucks, and the name
plates."

"I love it, it so cool" he said, he kissed me.

"and it choclate, with peanut butter icing."

"peanut butter." he said, i laughed

We cut both of them. i picked up a piece of his cake, and picked a piece of the
normal wedding cake. I looked at him he give me a look. i knew what he was doing.

"ready?"

"are you?" he asked, then we pressed the cake in to eachothers face. We Both
Laughed, he leaned down and kissed me. I grabbed his face with my hand cover with
cake. he laughed. We went backto the table, cleaming off.

"that was good cake" he said, i looked at him,

"ye--yeah, your still wearing it." i said, he still had cake on his cheek. i took a
napkin, and wiped his face off then kissed him

"i love you"

I throw my flowers. Vero caught them, we were standing with marc, Vero walked up to
him, and looked at Marc and give him the flowers, and looked at him with a dirty
look.

sid laughed "oh......oh....man, i think I know whos getting married next" sid said,
i laughed

after that Sidney was going to take off my garder, Sidney pulled out a chair for me,
I put it in the middle of the dress floor. I sat down, he got down on his knees. he
grabbed my feet. guys started to yell. i laughed, I looked at sidney he was laughing.

"what.....what..." he laughed

"what?"

"which leg?"

"right" then he slipped my shoe off, he run his hands up my leg, then he lifed my
dress up and stuck his head under my dress.

"Sidney"

Everyone got louder, then I felt his theet on the inside of my leg, then i felted
the grader being pulled down my leg. Sid came back up with it in his mouth then he
fung it towards a gourp of guys. Max Caught it. I looked at Sid, He held hsi hand
out. I grabbed it, he pulled me up. i wrapped my arms around him, he laughed

I kissed him.

The rest of the night was great, we dance, ate, drank. Me and adam had a dance, so
did taylor and Sid.

a lot of people were started to leave, we were telling people goodbye.

After everyone left, around 1:00 am. I took off my shoes, I picked them up and
looked at sid, he smiled.

"ready for bed?" he asked, grabbing my hand.

"yeah" i said, smiliing

We walking up to the door, i went open the door.

"wait" he said, putting his hand on mone, then picked me up.

"Sidney" i laughed, i kissed him, we made it upstairs.

Britt's POV

We got in the house, we all got into our Pjs. We talked for a bit longer then went to bed.

I couldn't I tossed and turned for a while i went to the bathroom abbout 50 times,
and just started walking around. then i heard a little knock on the door.

"come in" I said, then my mom walked in.

"I heard you walking around."

"did i wake you up?"

"no" she said

"oh" I sat down on the bed.

"nerves"

"yeah"

"they'll just starting"

"no, i've been happening all day, but now i can't sleep because of it."

"what are you thinking about?" she asked sitting next to me.

"you know I always had hope that you would find someone, but I didn't think it would
happen so fast."

"you did, you need some sleep."

"i know" I said, she stood up.

Sid's POV

I got up the next morning, dad and Dan were in the living room max, and Adam were
pasted out on the floor.

"look like there had a good time" I said putting my shirt on.

I check the time it was about 7'oclock.

"i'll be back" i said

"where you going?" dad asked

I got in my car, then the store then I went to our house. i went to open the door,
it was looked. I unlocked it. i looked around to make sure I didn't see anybody. i
started walking up the stairs.

"Sidney Patrick" I heard my mom some what whisper. i turned around.

"hey mom"

"what are you doing?"i'm seeing if Brittany still asleep, i want to gave her
this. " I said showing her a single rose.

"she is, but your not going up there."

"mom, come on."

"you can gave me it and I c an gave it to her."

"bye" i said, walking out the door. i waited for a few mintures, and i walked back
in the house. i made I even more queit this time. I opened the bedroom door. She was
laying there with the blankets up to her neck. i set the rose on the pillow. I
pushed her hair out of her face, i looked at her then kissed her temple, she started
to mave, and walked out of the room.

"V" I said

"what are you doing here?"

Britt's POV

I woke up, I open my eyes I laid there for a couple mintures, i could believe was
the day i was getting married all the nerves where coming back from last night. i
swing my arm around. I looked over at Sidney pillow there was a rose with a white
card on it. I picked it up.

I smiled, it was so simple but I loved it, and was something i needed.

I went downstairs, everyone was up.

"where you get that?" mom asked

"oh" I said, looking down at the rose. "sidney"

"I caught him going up the steps, and I told him to leave."

I laughed

we ate breakfast, It was around 12 o'clock.

"want to start getting ready?" mom asked

All the girls had their make up down, they were started our hair.

"do you have your vail?"

I went and looked for my vail "Trina, do you know where my vail is?" I sked

"it should be with the dress."

we all had our hair, and make up done the bridemaid got into their dress the were

We went upstairs, i pull my dress up, my mom started tieing th back.

"there you go" she said, I looked in the mirror. "you look beauitful"

I put on my shoes, and made my way downstairs everyone was fussing over me,

"they said they'll be ready in about a half an hour."

The day before teh wedding. i woke up. I was laying in bed and Sidney came out of
the bedroom. I smiled.

"hello beautiful" he said

"hey handsome" he laid back down in bed. "what time are and the guys going out?"

"not til late, it just you and we all day."

then the door bell rang. I looked at sidney

"i'll get it" he said

he was down there for a while. i went downstairs, and he was coming though the back
door.

"what--"

"their here to put up the tent up."

"i thought they where doing that tomorrow."

"well there putting it up today, so they can do everything the needs to be done
inside tomorrow."

"oh okay"

"but whant to go to lunch?" he asked

"yeah, i'm goint to get a shower" i told him, and turned around then he grabbed my
hips and pressed him body into me.

"wait"

"what?" i laughed

"may I?" he asked

"come on" I grabbed his hand, and started dugging him upsairs. he did a dumb
laughed. i laughed at him.

Sid got out before me. when I got out he was going downstair. i got dress, did my
hair and make , and went downstairs. sid was standing in the kitchen looking out the
window.

"are you sure we can leave them here, while we're gone?" i asked him

"i called my parents, they going to come up."

"okay"

"just think about it" he said putting his arms around me. i did the same to
him. "tomorrow we'll be out there as husband and wife." he said i put my head to his
chest.

"are you okay?" he asked

"yeah, i'm fine " I said, but I didn't mean it. i was starting to nervous. i thought
he would be getting nervous too. i was postivie that wanted to spend the rest of my life with him, but I was allow to get nervous, right, this is one of the biggest
steps of my life.

"are you sure?" he said looking at me.

"yeah, i'm fine." I said looking at him.

"okay" he said leaning down for a kiss

"Sidney" he looked up and his mom, and dad walked in.

we walked out of the house to the car.

"hey" he said

"wh--" he kissed me, then he looked at me. I smiled

We had lunch, and then we went down to the lake at this bench spot, we went where
there wasn't alot of people. i was standing there looking out at the water.

"are you really sure your okay?" he asked me.

"yeah" I said, turning my head, he took a step towards me.

"your lying to me." he said

I didn't say anything. i felt a tearrun down my face.

"are you having doubts?" he asked

"what no, Sidney I know that i want to spend the rest of life with you" i said,
turning around putting my hand on his arm.

right to feel nervous when i know something meant to be."

"not right now, but no doubt tomorrow when I start getting ready it will hit me." I
put my arms around him.he kissed my forehead.

When we got home they had half the tent up.

"did you tow have a good time?" his mom asked

"yeah" he was getting ready to go out. i was getting for the girls to come over here.

"sid, do you have everthing packed?" i asked him, looking at out bags for the
honeymoon.

"i'm pretty sure, but the everyday things" he said in the bathroom.

"okay" i loved the bags over to the corner.

"Brittany" V yelled

"i think their early" I said

I went downstair, sidney was behind me. Vero, Aimee, and Erin were downstairs.

"mom got her, and told me tp tell you that her mrs. Crosby and taylor we be here

We were laughing coming out of a bar.

"oh, what do we do now?" I asked

We got to the house. I heard girls laughing

"shh...." I said I looked in the gate "their the lake" i said

"oh, that it" Marc Siad started taking off his clothes.

"we're going to jump in." he said, all of them started getting down to there boxers.

I got ddown to my boxer, me made our away around the yard, down to the dock we all
yelled a jumped in the water, they scarmed. we came up.

"you assholes" V yelled

I laughed, and looked back at Brittany she was laughing. she looked at me, and shoke
her head, she reached over and ran her hand on the back of my neck. i put my arms
around her.

"what are you doing here?" she asked

"I couldn't stay away"

"oh, you can come up with something better then that." i said

"we didn't know what to do next."

"so you come here and scared the shit out of us?" she asked

"that was the plan."

"oh" she said, then pushed me under. i came back up everybody was splashing, and
pushing people under water.

"Sidney" i heard Brittany yelled as max throw her in the water. she came back up and
laughed.

she smiled, and kissed then pushed me.

We were getting out, i helped brittany out.

"Sidney" I looked over and my mom and Britt's mom walking down the yard. i moved
behind Brittany as I put a towel, and went around her.

"mom" i said.

"baby girl" adam said, taking carrie out of his mom arms.

"it's almost midnight." mom said

"yeah. so"

"you can't see the bride until the wedding"

"mom" I said

"mom" Britt said

"come on" my mom grabbed my arm, i grabbed Brittany

"I feel like a five year old who jsut got into trouble."

In the last weeks up to a week before the wedding we been getting all the little things done, The whole wedding party was her in cole harbour and my family.

I was sitting in the kitchen reading a book.

"hey" Sidney said coming in t from the living room, he ran his hand along my back,
then got water out of the frig.

"hey" I said and he leaned on the counter across from me. I looked at him. he was looking at me.

"what?" I asked

"so this honeymoon?"

"what about it?"

"we'll leaving the day after right?"

"what about the wedding night, isn't that supposed to be a special night."

"yeah, it will be can we promise something to eachother."

"because your more of a girly girl then me."

"true" she said, and we walked into a store. I was looking around.

she picked out about five lingerie thing, I put the first one on.

I tried the rest of them on, I was on the last on. I really liked it. I came out

I got home

"yeah, its me, i'll be right in." she ran upstair put it on a hanger and put it in
the back of the closet and put a bag over it and went downstair.

"hey, did you get everything you needed?" he asked. sitting on the couch.

"yeah," I sat next to him.

"oh hwy i was talking to max. and he was thinking all the guys going out the night before the wedding."

"you know how we made that promise to remember the wedding night?"

"yeah"

"well I want you to remember the wedding."

"i will, i wouldn't do that."

"i know, i was kidding." i said

"so you wouldn't really care?"

I shock my head.

"just remember all the guys are at your parents that night."

"i won't"

"okay, then all the girls are here that night anyways we can have our own party." I
smiled

"hey i want you to remember the wedding." he laughed

"i will" I leaned over and kissed him
