Chapter 85
Next week, I think she forgot all about the house looking between work and wedding plans.got home, she was at the kitchen table.
"hey beautiful, whatya doing?" I asked putting my arms around her, and putting my head on her shoulder.
"hey" she kissed me. "i'm seeing when the eariest i can get up to cole houbor."
"I thought you were coming up with me."
"Sid, i got to work"

"why don't you queit?"
"what?" i let go her, and stood straight up, and put my head back.
"just for the summer."
"Sidney, a job is what keeps me busy during the day."

"oh, yeah" she said getting up.
Couples mintures she came out. She looked at me.

We got to the first house, brittany wen to get out. i put my hand one her. She
looked at me.
"i'm sorry, about the whole job thing."
"it's okay, i've thinking maybe it would be good, because of the wedding and what
the ponit of me coming three weeks before."

"okay" I kissed her on the cheek, we got out of the car.
"hello, Sarah" i said, she was the one showing us the houses.

"this is my fiance brittany"
"hi" Brittany Said shaking her hand.
We looked at three house, nothing was really for us. we got to the forth house. It
was white its a got 4 bedroom, and three bath when you first walk the stairs are
off to the left and there is a railing that you can look over to the downstairs.
Then, you walk down the hallway on the left was the living room. the firstdoor on
the right was a closet. On the left was a little den type thing then more downon the
left was a big kitchen and there was two big doors leading out to a deck. there is a
inground pool, with a big back yard.
"there a basement"
she walked down the stairs, I let Brittany go in front of me. It was a finish
basement,, with a bar area. there were two bigs doors leading outside to the
backyard.
"i like this" I said
"yeah" Britt said
We got upstairs the first door on the left was a bedroom then there was three
bedroom and the right the left was a bathroom. the bathroom of the right was the
master bedroom with a bath.
We ended up back in the kitchen, brittany grabbed my hand. I looked at her.
"I like it" she said, grabbing my hand thigther and out her head on my my arm.
"me too."
"i'll leave you two alone." Sarah said and walked away. We turned arpund and looked
out the window.
"So do you see yourself rising a family here" I asked her.
she gave me a small smile, looked down and nodded "yeah" she said "can you see
yourself rising kids, and all your supersations stuff here."
I laughed " yeah"
"So what do you two think?" Sarah asked
"we like it" Britt said
"we'll take it." I said, i looked at Brittany. she smiled
We signed the papers, and she tols us it would be final in about three days, and
about three days later our post season ended.
a week later, I came home.
"babe, I got them boxes" I yelled, she come out of the bathroom.
"thanks"
"yupp" I said, we want to pack as mucj stuff as we could for the next couple days,
and get what we could up in th house.
"I quit"
"quit what?"
"my job"

"yeah"
"why?"
"you were right, maybe it would be better if i didn't have a job. "
In the next couple weeks, We got the living room down and we got the bed up, in our
room.
At the end of may we went up to Cole harbour.
About a week and half later, i way laying in the bed waitong for Brittany. She came
in and haned me a bowl of popcorn, i put on my lap. she took her slippers off and
climbed into bed with me. I put my arm around her she slide in between my arm and my
side.
"are you ready?"
"for what?" she asked
"the wedding"
"as ready as I can be right now, you?"
"i'm ready"
she smiled "can we start, the movie."
"yeah"
Britt's POV
Two weeks later it's almost a month until the wedding, and I wanted get Sid a frooms
cake i wanted some hockey in the wedding.
"hello, i'm Alex" he said
"hi, i'm Brittany"
"what can i do for you?"
"i want a grooms cake"
"okay"
"mmm..he's a hockey player. I was think the mellon arena."
"Crosby?" he asked
"yeah, thats him" I laughed "but I thought about having his jersey and Canada jersey
like drapped over the top of it., and with the stanley cup, and gold medal somwhere on it, and other thing like pucks and sticks."
"that sounds good" he said "i'm going to bring out some cake and frosting to see
what you like."
"okay" he got up an dcame back. I tried them.
"mmm..I think he'll like the chocolate with peanut butter licing."

Chapter 84

Chapter 84
After he was done , he took a nap. Then he got dress, and went to the game. We walked in, and we got to were we go our different ways.
"i'll see you after the game." he said
"yeah, and when I see you, i hope to see a gold medal around your neck." i said, he
smiled "good luck"
"thanks babe" I kissed him on the side of the mouth , and smiled at him, ans started
up to the box, where Vero was. i got up there.
"hey, britt"
"hey" I sat next to her.
"you come early with Sid"
"yeah"
"you two okay?"
"yeah, were fine."
"yeah, were fine."
I was the third period Canada was winning by one goal. then at the end of the period
USA scored and tired it up. It went into overtime, me and V ended up standing. Sid came down the ice he hit thr puck against the boards another player got it and passed it back to sid and Sid shot it at the net. i wasn't sure if it went in or not then I seen Sidney throw his arms up adn throw his gloves, and stick on the ice. i throw my hands up, so did Vero. She hugged me. I hugged her, and I looked at the ice, and seen everybody jumping Sid.
we were watching them get their medals. They came to Sid and the crowd went crazy,
Sid waved to the crowd. i smiled and put my hand over my mouth.
"are you crying?" V looked at me.
"yes.....I'm proud of him." i smiled
finally they got in the locker room, me and Vero went down to the locker room.
"Marc" Vero said to Marc Andre across the room
"i'm going to look for Sid."
"okay" she said
I walked around the corner, I seen Sid gaving an interview they was hardly any players around. i leaned up against the wall and watched him.
"now go anjoy it with your team." the interviewer said
"oh, i will" he said, and turned around, i stood stright up,a nd smiled I walked up to him.
"i'm so happy for you." I throw my arms around him. he put his around me. He lifted
me up . when he hugged me. then put me back down.
"oh" I said, he started taking it off.
"no" I said, he put it around my neck, i smiled, and looked at it, thentook it off
and put it back around his neck. , he smiled at me. i grabbed his face , and kissed
him.
"i love you" i said
"i love you too." i put my arms around him and hugged him.
"hey love birds come on" I turned around and Marc's head was poking out behind the
wall, me and Sidney laughed.
Two weeks later, i was coming home from work. Sidney been on a road trip. he came home today I came to the door i went to open the door and it caame open,. Sidney opened it.
"hi" I said
"hey" he said with a stright face. i stared walking in.
"what wro--" I saw Adam sitting on the couch the baby was on the floor in her car
seat.
"oh hey....let me see her." i said walking over thier named her carrie. I was sitting there holding her.
"wheres abby" I said Adam put his head down.
"what?"
"she lefted"
"lefted what?"
"us"
"what, why?"
"she said, she can't do it, anymore and she never wanted a baby."
"what are you going to do?"
"be a single dad"
"Adam, i'm sorry."

Two months later, everything was going good we got alot of wedding things done.

Me and Vero were at my place we were cooking dinner for the guys.
Sid's POV
I put the jacket on. i fixed the collar and button the bottom.
"this day getting closer adn closer." I said
"someone nervous?" Max asked
"no" I said 'yes' i thought
After we did all that, we went back to my place.
we walk in.
"mmm.. something smells good."
"it better, we worked all day." Brittany said putting her arms around me.
"where my baby girl?" Adam said
"she sleeping, shhh." Britt said
"dinners done, guys." vero Said
we were eating
"how it go?" Britt asked
"i'm not telling you that?"
"why?"
"you want tell me what your dress looks like" i said
"thats different"
I smiled " they look great." i kissed her cheek.
Then Carrie started crying. Adam started getting up.

"she going to be a good mother" Adam said
"a great one" then she got up, then she got up and went to adam.
"I think she wants her daddy." she said

sit down. She ran her hand along my shoulders.
Later that night we were ready for bed. i was getting bed. She was throwing one of
my T-shirt over her head.

"i've been thinking, a house."
"yeah"
"well don't you want one before we get married."
"done we have time with playoffs, and plans."
"next week, i'll get someone and we'll look at houses." I said she was getting in
bed.

He unlocked the door. i walked in he shut the door. he picked me up
"Sid"
"Britt" he mocked me, the laid me on the bed. he crawled on top of me. and kissed
me.then down my neck. he went straight for my pants.
"Sidney"
"yeah?" he asked right before taking another kiss.
"do you have a--" he looked at me.
"a what?" he asked, i wided my eyes.
"oh.....no, i didn't we would--"
"sorry" I said trying to get up.
"why?"
"no comdon, I'm not taking that chance."

"but we're going to be--"
"we're not married yet." I said pushing hin off of me.

I knocked on the door. no answer, i knocked again. V answerws the door.

coat. an drun out the door. I took the stiars.
I got down to the lobby.

hooded zip up, she looks like this " i said, showed her a picture on my phone.

After an half and hour later, My phone started ranging. I was freezeing. I finally
found phone.

"no it's Vero" she said "any luck?"
"no, and its getting colder."
"i know we're outside too, i think i see you turn around." I did they were walking
up to me. i hung up.
"what did you guy fight about?" Marc asked
"sex"
"you two faught about sex"
"well that where it started the kids, then I try to force a kiss on her, she did't
like that."
"of course, she didn't her ex-boyfriend physcial, mantal, and sexual abuised her."
Vero said
"I didn't mean. but she never pushed me away."
"i'm going back to the botel to look again." Vero said

me and marc were still looking.

A little bit later I walked around a building.
"Sid, I don't know, maybe we should go back, and see if she shows up."
"we can't, she could still be out here."

We got back to the hotel, MArc and V went back to ger room. Brittany was laying in
bed coughing. I handed her a cup of hot tea.

"i went outside to clear my head and just kept walking, and when I turned around and

The next morning, I woke up Brittany still asleep. she was clear on the other side
of the bed. With the blankets up to her neck. I kissed her forehead, she was little
warm. i went to the bathroom then I order breas=kfast for us. i was sitting there,
and I turned on the TV. Brittany woke up coughing.
"Babe, you okay?" I asked
"mmm" she said, then started coughing again.
"sit up" she did "how you sleep?"
"not good" she said, then there was a knock at the door. i answered the door.
"I got you breakfast"

We sat there.

About a week I was feeling better. I 've gone to evervy of Sidney game. I've been
good, but us we have been better ever since the beginning of the week we have been
together. We talk still, a hug here, and kiss here but it not the same, and I hate
it, i miss sleeping on his chest at night, and getting random kisses, Yes, I have
been apart from him when he is on one, two week road trips but this is different
when he is right next to you.
Sidney and team Canada made it to the gold medal game and it was tonight. i was
getting ready out of the shower. i wraaped a towel around me. Sidney was at
practice. I dried off. i wrapped the the towel trighter around me, and opened the
door, and walked into Sidney who was walking pass.

Sidney and team Canada made it to the gold medal game and it was tonight. i was
getting ready out of the shower. i wraaped a towel around me. Sidney was at
practice. I dried off. i wrapped the the towel trighter around me, and opened the
door, and walked into Sidney who was walking pass.
"sorry " i said
"no, i'm sorry" we stood there
"i'm going to get a shower" he said "for the game tonight"
I moved for him, to get in the bathroom. he started to walk in. I grabbed his arm.
"huh?" I put my hand on the side of his face. he looked at me. i kissed him.

"i'm sorry too" he kissed me and wrapped his arms around me, we broke apart, he put

Chapter 82
Two weeks later, and two days after my birthday. Sidney had a game, after he was leaving for the omplyics.
"babe, i'm leaving" he said in the living room.
"okay, i'll see you after the game" I said kissing him.
I was riding to the game with Vero, because after the game Sid was going to the
airport, and I was driving sid's car home.
After the game, I went down to the locker room. Sidney was done with everything, He
drove to the airport. We got to the airport, and got out of the car. He got his bags
out of the back. we walked in. We waited a while for his plane.
I yawned.
"you tired?" he asked
I nodded, and put my head on his shoulder. He kissed my forehead.
"you can't wait." i said
"huh?"
"you can't for the games."
"oh, yeah"
We sat there for a little bit more. Something was said on the overcome, i couldn't
really hear it.
"thats me." he said I picked my head up.
"you?"
"yupp"
I walked with him. Where they get on the plane. He put his bags down. i grabbed his
hand, he put my arms around him. He put his around me. I put my head to his chest.
All i could smell was him. He looked so sharp with his suit and tie on.. I looked up
at him.

A week later was on a plane to Vancouver. Sidney and the team were doing great. i

Voicemail.
"hey babe I'm here, i'm in room....ahh 1213 mmm call me or something when you get
this love you bye."
"so what do you want to do?" V asked
"i don't know"

So far we both bought a canada hoodie even though i'm american, i;m cheering for
canada in hockey. I also got a canada crosby t-shirt. We were walking down the
street.
"what do you want to do now?" i asked
"i don't know, lunch?"

We went to this resturant. We were looking for a table.
"hey" I said "isn't that Sid, and Marc in the corner."
"yeah, it is." We started walking up to their table. Sidney back was towards us.
marc lefted his head. I put my finger to my lips to tell him to shhh.
Then i put my arms down Sid's shoulders, and around his neck, he jumped, and he
looked up. i smiled and looked at him.

kissed him. Then we heard I door dinged, and door came open. We looked and there was
a older man was standing there I tried not to smiled.

Britt's POV
I got to my parents, me and my mom were in the kitchen.
"that a cute cardigan" mom said
"thanks Sidney got it for me."
"he;s got good taste."
"yeah" I smiled
"mom" adam yelled
"in the kitchen"
he walked in the kitchen, Abby was walking in front of him.
"hey Britt" he said, Abby sat beside me.
"hey" I said "how you feeling?" I asked Abby.
"okay, i've been better."
"Did you two find out what it is?"
"no we didn't want to."
Later we were sitting in the living room.I was wacting Abby and Adam, as all of us
were talking they didn't even looked or touch eachother. I thought they would be
happier together. We all talked a little longer, then my mom got up to go in the kitchen, I follower her. i sat at the table.
"mom. does Adam and Abby look happy to you?" i asked
"you notice that they don't look happy."
"yeah, should we talk to him."
"no, maybe they will act different when the baby comes."

Around eight I left my parents I got have, Sidney washing dishes.
"hey" i said, putting my stuff

"I just back from taking them to the airport."

"Should I even start the wedding plans back up?" I asked, as he walked in the door.
"hi babe, my dad was good how was yours?"

"becasue, I feel like i can't get nothing done." I said "look at this stuff" i said

"Were you really looking at wedding dresses?" he said, in shocked picking up a book.

I called my mom the next day and told her tha Brittany won't look at dresses, that

"we met at the beach, he hit me with a volleyball, after we got talking we found out
we live in the same city."
She laughed "what are you looking for in a dress?"

"strapless, crystals, between a drop waist and some what of priceness"
"what do yoiu want to feel like?"

The next morning I didn't want to get up . I was get laying there with my eyes shut. I heard someone come out of the bedroom, then felt Sidney touch my arm, then get up. I laid there for a few more minutres. then i opened my eyes, and looked up Sid was
sitting on the couch.
"morning, beautiful" he said
"morning, handsome" I out my hand on his leg, and got up went to the bathroom, then
came out, his mom was up now. I sat on the couch beside sid.
"whos all coming tonight?" trina asked
"my parents, my brother, his girlfriend, and my sister, and I think Sid asked Max to
come." i looked at sid, he nodded.
"i need to start getting te food ready." i said
"do want some help?" Trina asked
"yes, please" we got up and in the kitchen The day went on . it was about two
o'clock I was cutting vegables.
"what are you making?" sid asked standing behind me.
"a veggie tray" I said he took a carrot, and throw in his mouth.

The rest of the night was great her family was leaving.
"baby, we'll see you tomorrow."

After everybody left we finished up cleaning. my parents and Taylor went to bed. Me
and Britt made the bed, then went to bed.
The next morning, I woke up to Brittany head on my chest. i put my hand on her back.
"mmm" she said
"Merry christmas." i whisper
"Merry Christmas" she said, I kissed her forehead. she tighten her arms around me,
she looked up at me, and I kissed her. We laid there for little longer, until we
heard someone move in the bedroom. then, my mom walked out.

After everyone was up, we give eachother gifts. britt and I just got eachother
clothes.
Brittany ws getting ready to go to her parents. I opened the door to the bathroom.
she was infront standing infront of the mirror.
"i souldn't be that long at my parents."
"okay" i shut the door and locked it.
"Sid, what are you doing?" she asked ""your parents.
"i have one more gift for you."
"Sidney" she said turning around, having the sink behinf her.
"here" i handed her a box. "i didn't want to gave this around my parents." she
looked at me "open it" she did
"a key" she said pulling it out of the box. "what you do buy me a car?"
"no" I said "we're getting married next summer, and later i think we would want to
start a family. and every married couple should have a house."
"you brought a house"
"no, not yet we'll go house hunting together,"
"thank you" she hugged me "i love you"
"i love you too."then there was a knock on the door.
"sidney"
"i'm coming mom." I looked at Brittany and kissed her one more time/

The next morning I didn't want to get up . I was get laying there with my eyes shut. I heard someone come out of the bedroom, then felt Sidney touch my arm, then get up. I laid there for a few more minutres. then i opened my eyes, and looked up Sid was
sitting on the couch.
"morning, beautiful" he said
"morning, handsome" I out my hand on his leg, and got up went to the bathroom, then
came out, his mom was up now. I sat on the couch beside sid.
"whos all coming tonight?" trina asked
"my parents, my brother, his girlfriend, and my sister, and I think Sid asked Max to
come." i looked at sid, he nodded.
"i need to start getting te food ready." i said
"do want some help?" Trina asked
"yes, please" we got up and in the kitchen The day went on . it was about two
o'clock I was cutting vegables.
"what are you making?" sid asked standing behind me.
"a veggie tray" I said he took a carrot, and throw in his mouth.
"hey" i said
"hey" he treased me, mouthfull, then kissed me cheek.
"hey do you two know what that tump was last night?" Trina asked
I looked at Sidney, and smiled he looked at me. "Sid fell off the bed." I laughed.
"you fell off the bed?" she asked
"yeah"
she staeted laughed, I laughed.
"i'm leaveing" he said
After we were done. i got a shower and got dress.
Later my parents, and Aimee came.
"hey mom, dad, Aim." I said "you know Sid's mom and dad.but this is his sister
taylor."
Then my brother, and Abby came.
"Adam" I said, and hugged him.
"abby" I said "your getting so big" I hugged her,
"i know, next month." she said

Everyone was having a good time. i was in the living room, with my dad, and Dan.
"you got a great son here" Dan said

"he talked me a few months before he asked her, i was always worried about her, but
when he talked to me, and what he did for her last year, i know i don't got to worry
anymore."

"you and your wife have rised a wonderfull daughter."

"whatchs talking about?" brittany asked, grabbing my upper arm.

"they bruned out." she said pointing to the lights on the wall."I can't reach them."

other hand on my chest and I put my hand on her lower back and pushed her against
me. We interwinded our fingers with eachother. her handslide up to the back of my
nack, and kissed me. i kissed her back. then i heard someone clear thoat. we looked
Adam was standing there getting something more to drink.
"really" Britt said, I smiled.

Chapter 79

Chapter 79
In the summer before I came up for the big stanley cup bash, Sidney had olympic practice, there were picking the team later in the year, and sidney hot called in october to carry the olympic torch though nova soctia.
i didn't get to go to with him, becuase I had to work, but I watch it on TV watching him run with it , and all the people that were there.
"how nice is it, that you be here with friends and family sharing this moment"
"yeah, no it's a great day and having friends and family is geart just wish me whole
family was here." he said
and the interveiw went on, after that the next day he stated a road trip. he was
gone into the beginning of December
I was in the bedroom putting clothes away. i got down to put something in the
bottom. i got up, then arms went around me, I jumped a yelled. i turned around and
almost fall into the dresser.
"sidney don't do that." I yelled at him, he was supposed to be coming home later.
"i'm sorry, babe"
"it's okay, you just scared me" I said
"Sorry" and he hugged me.
Christmas was coming up, his parents, and taylor were coming in. i finished up my
christmas shopping a week ago.
"i'm going picking up my parents, and taylor, then i'm bringing my mom back here,
and dad, and tay are going to practice with me."
"okay, so sleeping your mom, and dad get our room, tay on the floor, and we're in
the living room on the blow up."
"yeah"
"and, their okay with it?"
"yes, their fine with it?"
'Okay'
"stop worrying" he said
"it's the first christmas with your family."
"your going to be fine"
"and my family"
"it's gonna to be fine, okay" he said grabbing face.
"okay" I said, he kissed me.

About a hour later, I just finished putting new sheets on the bed.
"Britt" sid yelled, i walked out of the bedroom.
"hi, trina"
"hi, honey"
"well, I got to get to practice." Sid said
"bye" she said
"see ya, babe" i said, he winked at me, adn lefted.
"how was your flight?" i asked
"good, do you need any help with stuff fro tomorrow?"
"nope, not right now, I thought we could go to lunch, and do something else."
"that sound great, but first where your bathroom."
"oh, sorry right there sorry it not very big apartment."
"no, it's a great apartment, its just normally you and sid."
We went out to lunch, then we went shopping and i'm not the person who likes shops,
but it was fun with her, we got in the car. I check the time.
"wow, its late"
"yeah, do you just want to got get something for dinner?"
"yeah, that would be better."
we got back to the apartment.
"well, well look whos home." Sid said
"yeah" i said, smiled at him.
"we brought dinner, Brittany told me about this wing place, so we got wings."
"Britt, knows her wings" sid said "and, if there are from where I think they are,
these things are awesome." he siad getting up, and going over to the counter, where
I fet down the bags. "did you get them sweet hot things?" he asked
"yes, i did" I said, putting my hand on his back.
we were done eating
"those were amazing," tory said, throwing hos plate away.
We all were sitting in the living room.
"so what do we do now?" taylor asked
"we can play a game." Sid siad
"okay"
"we have uno" he said
"okay"
We got ready I was in the kitchen gettig a drink, Sidney came in
"you want something?"
"yeah"
"hot chocolate?" I asked
"yupp, your going down." he turned around and looked at me.
"really?"
"yeah, really"
"same bet" I said
"you got it." he smiled, and stuck out his hand. i shocked it and laughed, then handed him his hot chocolate. we walked back in the living room.
"Uno" Sid yelled everyone laughed. i put my card down.
"Sorry, Sid i'm out " tay said i laughed
After the game I was changing
"So I won" Sid said
"yeah you did"
"yeah, where my kiss?" he asked
I smiled, and kissed him on the cheek, " I love you"
"I love you too."
He set up the blow up matress he patted the bed for me to sit down. i sat down with
tyhe sheets in my hands. he kissed me., I laughed
"help me?" I asked
"yupp" we put on the sheets on, and he grabbed me. and fell on the the bed.
"Sid" I laughed he kissed my neck "Sidney"
"goodnight" his mom yelled from the bedroom.
"goodnight" we both said.
"lets just go to bed." i said
"okay" we liad in bed, we both ended up in the middle of it. Sid head was in my
neck. we fell asleep.
I woke up in the middle of the night for a second. Sidney didn't have his arm around
me anymore. I moved little bit, i was falling back asleep, then I felt sidney move.
then I heard a 'tump' I eyes shot open. i rolled over, ans Sidney wasn't in bed. I
looked over the side, Sid was on the floor.
"are you okay?" I asked holding back my laugh.
"yeah" he said I stated laughing, he stood up he laughed
"you think that funny." he said
"you don't" i laughed he climed back in bed, he wrapped his arms around me.i
laughed.
"shhh....we have to be ----- shhh your parents." I said
"okay"
