Chapter 72

Chapter 72
The rest of the weekend was great. teh hockey season was coming to a end, and playoffs were starting. The sereies ws against philly they the sereies 4 to 0. they move on to the next sereies against washington. The first two games they lost. then game 35 and 5 they won, then game 6 they lost. Now game 7.
I watched the game at home they killed them. I was so happy for them. after the game, I went straight to bed.
Around midnight, I woke by someone pounding,
"what the hell?" I thought to myself, i got out of bed, and went to the door, looked
out the window.
"Adam" I wishper, i open the door.
"Adam"
"Britt.....Britt" he said
"Adam, are you okay?"
"I don't--" he said, and his eyes started to gloss over.
"come in, sit down." he came in.
"Britt, i;m sorry I didn't know where to go."
"Whats wrong?" i asked
"it's abby"
"what wrong, is she okay?"
"She pregnant"
"what?"
"i don't know what to do, we only been together for about seven months or so."
"I throught you guys weren't doing anything."
"one time, the comdon broke."
"adam"
"i don't know what to do?" he cryed
"want do you want to do?"
"I want to be there but I don't know."
"why don't you stay here tonight"
"okay" i got him some blankets about 30 mintues later he fall asleep.
Around 2:30 i was still up, and I heard a car pulled in. I waited to see if it was
Sid then I heard the door knob start to move he walked in and saw me sitting at the
table.
"I didn't think---"
"shhh"
"what?" He asked and pointed over to the couch.
"whats he doing here? "
"around midnight he was knocking on the door." I said he sat down across from me. "I
got him inside and he was saying he was sorry, then I asked what wrong, he said Abby, i asked if she okay, she pregnant."
"oh my god"
"yeah"
"I throught you said they w--"
"first time, comdon broke"
"wow"
"i think, he just scared and confused."
"i bet"
"your off tomorrow right?"
"yeah"
"why don't you take him out on like guys day." i said "I think he need a day with a
guym he alway had me but i think he needs a guys day not a adam and Brittany day."
"yeah, i'll take him"
"thanks"
"let get to bed." he said
"okay" we stood up he put his arm around me.
"hey by the way, way to go conference finals again."
he laughed "thanks babe"
The next morning i was in the jitchen. Adam woke up.
"hey" I said
"hey"
"how you feeling?"
"better"
"you want some coffee?"
"no, thanks"
then I seen Sid come out of the bathroom.
"hey adam"
"hey" Sid walked toward me.
"Brittany told me." he said, putting his arm around me.
"yeah, i kinds figured."
"you okay?" Sid asked, i put my hand on his smocah
"yeah" he looked at us, then put his head down. I hit Sid in the smocah and got out
og his grip and went more into the kitchen.
"hey adam, i was think lets do something today." Sid said
"like what?"
"i dont' know, we'll find something to do."
"okay"
"okay, i'll go get dress, and we'll go."
later that day, Sid and Adam were coming back for dinner.
there was a knock at the door, I opened the door.
"Abby."
"hi, Brittany"
"hi"
"is adam here."
"he's out with sid, my boyfriend, but he'll be back." I sad "come in."
she walked in.
"he told you"
"yeah, I think he just scared."

Sid's POV
We were on the way back to me and Brittany's place.
"Adam, have you thought what your going to say when you see here."
"no" he said "Sid what would you do if Brittany got pregnant?"
"i know, i'd be there no matter what."
We got back and walked in. brittany was sitting at the table, there was a girl
sitting across from her.
"Abby" Adam said
"Adam" She said, britt got up.
"mmmm.....Sid come in the bedroom and i'll show you that thing, i told you about." I
looked at her, and she grabbed my hand.
"oh thata thing"
"yeah, that thing, oh my come on." she said, and pulled me in the bedroom.
We went into the room I lied down on the bed. She lied down too, put her leg on
mine, and her hand on my chest.
"you guys have fun?"
"yeah, i was hopeing to spend the day with you."
"you got me tonight."
"yeah, i do" i kissed her.
Britt's POV
A few mintures later.
"okay, you guys can come out now." Adam yelled
we got up, and went into the living room.
"you two okay now?"
"yeah, we're good." Adam said looking at Abby
"okay great, lets eat now."
We ate, then they left.
"your all mine now." Sid said
"i'm going to get a shower then, i'm all yours."

Chapter 71
The month went on, I was working, Sid had games, imterview, and media stuff, Its the middle of March. Sid was on a road trip but he was coming home today. I was t waor we been kinda slow all day.
"Brittany" I looked up from the counter.
"Jessica"
"hey, how have you been?" she asked
"good, you"
"Okay, how you and sidney?"
"great" I said I was supiszue when she brought him up, I haven't seen Jessica in
months.
"so, i'm thinking you heard about me and Max?"
"yeah, that was a while ago."
"yeah, i've gotta in over it."
I didn't say anything until. I asked
"what are you doing here?"
"i'd missed you, and I wanted to say i'm sorry for what I did."
"and that would be?" i asked
"for asking Nikki to--"
"so you did do it."
"yeah"
"I can't believe you" i said coming out from behind the counter.
"Britt"
"no, you know now importment he is to me, and i can't believe you did something like
that." I said "and after all the times you left me for who ever was your boyfriend that week, and all the ones i didn;t likt."
"brittany, I should have never have done what i did."
"but you did"
"I wish didn't"
"I.......I......can't" I felt someone grab my arm. i look it was Sidney, and Max was
behimd him.
"Brittany, i'm really sorry"
"you were my best friend"
"Britt" she said
"no, just go"

"go" i said, she walked around us

"Sidney, i'm fine, sit and go get my notepad"
they sat down, and I took their food. Well they ate I went behind the counter. i was
staring into space. then I felt someone hand on my shoulder.
"babe"
"she was my best friend."
"I know."
"why she do something like that?"
"i don't know, but your going to be okay, and you have me."
"yeah, i'll be fine." I said standing up straight "go finish your lunch"
"okay"
A week later, i went to my parents for the weekend. i walked in our two dogs greeted
me at the door.
"Shadow" I said the bigger dog. I kneel down, and I little one was jumping on me.
"gizmo" and he started crying.
"they missed you" i looked up nad my mom was standing there.
"hi mom " I got up and give her a hug.
We went into the living room and sat down, and gizmo jumped on my lap.
"oh" I grabbed his face.
We sat there a while, and talked. then my brother came in.
"mom."
"in the living room." I stood up.
"Adam"
"britt" he gave me a hug. "where have you been?"
"working"
"fun,fun,fun"
"yeah, really"
he laughed. i looked behind him, there was a girl.
"oh" i said looking at him
"oh, yeah Brittany this is my girlfriend, Abby, and Abby, this is my sister

Chapter 70
Britt's POV
Two weeks later, I haven't seen sid for about week. He been on a road trip. He came home last night, but I left for work before he got up.
When I got home later that day. Sidney wasn't home yet.
"Britt"
"in the bedroom" i walked out of the bedroom.
"hey" he said
"hey, how was practice?" he hugged me.
"good"
"so, what are we doing tonight?"
"well, i was going to go out with the guys tonight."
"oh." I said
"this that okay."
"well you haven't been home for a week."
"I know, but I already told them I go."
"it's okay, go have fun."
"are you sure?"
"yeah"
Later the night, Sid was getting to leave. i was sitting on the couch, we haven't
talked much since earier.
"i'm leaving" he said putting on his coat.
"Okay" he camae over and kissed me on forehead. I can't believe he been gone a week
with the guys, and he comes home and goes out with them.
I don't care if he goes out with the guys. it's just he's been gone for a week.
The next couple weeks, into feburary went on and he started going out with the guys
after games, i told him to go out with the guys after game a long time ago because
i'm not drinking age yet, but now he been going out alot, and it not like him. We
barely been talking too. a hug here and a hi there.
There day of my birthday. I worked late that night, I walked up the stairs to our apartment. I looked up, and I seen Sidney leaning on the door with jeans and a nice white shirt with the selves rolled up, and looked like a dozen red roses.
I walked up to him, and looked at him.
"i know you been mad at me." he said, i didn't say anything.
"i sorry, i've been out so much lately."
I didn't know what to say.
"babe" h ewalked up and put his hand on my cheek.
"sidney" I put my hand on his.
"huh?"
"your hand is cold" I laughed he smiled
"i'm sorry"
"it's okay" I hugged him. I pulled apart.
"these are for you?" he handed me the roses.
I smelled them. "thank you" I said "It's really cold out here."
"okay, hold on."
"okay"
"close your eyes"
"what?" I asked
"close your eyes"
so i did.
"okay, what now?" i asked he grabbed my hand I heard him open the door.He lead me in
the apartment.
"okay, open them"
I did, there was rose pedal all over the place, and chanlde lite, and the table was
a sit with dinner.
"oh, sidney"
"Happy Birthday, and I really had to make up for some stuff I did."
"thank you, and it's okay"
I put the flowers inn a vase, when we were doing eating , we put the dishes in the sink.
"what now?" he asked, putting the last dish in the sink.
"I was thinking of a few things" I said blowing out the last chandle
"oh, really" he said
i nodded
"bed?" he asked walkinf towards me.
I nodded
"to go to sleep?" he aske right in front of me.
"not quite yet" i said putting my hand on his chest. he walked behind me, and he
picked me up.
"sidney" ilaughed he carried me to the bedroom, he out me down and I looked at the
bed, It was covered in roses
"sid" I turned around and put my arms around his neck, and kissed him.
"oh" he laughed and lied me down on the bed. i started to unbottin his shirt.
"i love you " i said
"i love you too and don't ever forget that."
The next morning, I woke up, sidney wasn;t in bed, rose pedal were still on the bed.
I got up, and wnet out in the living room. Sidney was cleaning up rose pedals.
"hey handsome" I said he turned around
"hey beauitful"
"need some help"
"yes, please."

Christmas went by everything was going great.
Now New Years is coming up. I was shopping with Vero.
"you should get a dress for tomorrow."
"no, i'm going to wear the black one i have."
"one that Sid seen you in i bet."
"well yeah"
"you need a new one, come on" she grabbed my hand and we went into a store.
Sid's POV
I got home, Brittany was cooking dinner. I went into the bedroom.
"babe, whats in the bag?" i asked seeing a beg on a hunger on the back on the door.
"a dress"
"for what?"
"tomorrow night"
"can I see?"
"no"
"why?" I asked walking into the kitchen.
"i want to wait for tomorrow."
"okay, well is there a certain color tie I need to waer?"
"yeah, red"
After we finish eating, we sat on the couch for a while then went to bed.
The next day were getting ready. she was in the bathroom. i was trying to get my tie
straight.
"i can't get this" i said then Brittany walked out of the bathroom. i looked down to
her legs then up to her eyes. "Damn"
She laughed "come here" she started fixing my tie.

We got there, it was at this club. most of the guy were there and their girlfriends.
V came up to Britt.

Walked over to the bar.
"i need to see both of your i.d's." teh bartenders said

I showed him mine, and got my drink, and we walked by the guys.
"Sid" Max, Marc Geno, and some other guys yelled

"oh, Damn is this Sid's Brittany in a dress." Max said

Then the music started up.
"come on Brittany" Vero came over and grabbed her, and stared pulling her on the
dance floor. Brittany grabbed my arm.
"come on" she mouthed to me.
I shool my head.
Later that night. I fanilly was dancing with Brittany. Then a slow song came on.
Iturned he around. she looked inti eyes. i put my arms around her waist, she put her
arms around me. and put her head on my chest, and I could feel her whispering the
lycis, it felt so good to have her in my arms. it felt like we were the only to
people in the room.
When the song was over I looked down at her and she looked. I kissed her.
The night went on, It was alomost midnight abd I couldn't find Brittany. everyone
started to count down.
"10......9.....8......7.....6.......5" I was going through the crowd looking for
here.
"4.....3.....2." she came up to me. she smiled and laughed.
"1" I grabbed her moved the piece of hair from eyes. She put her hand on back of my
head i my hair. i put my hands on her hips. i smiled and kissed her, she kissed me back. we broke apart.
"I love you" she said over the crowd sceaming and yelling
"I Love You Too" I whispter i her ear. she smiled an d she hugged me.
Now New Years is coming up. I was shopping with Vero.

Sid's POV
I got home, Brittany was cooking dinner. I went into the bedroom.
"babe, whats in the bag?" i asked seeing a beg on a hunger on the back on the door.
"a dress"
"for what?"
"tomorrow night"
"can I see?"
"no"
"why?" I asked walking into the kitchen.
"i want to wait for tomorrow."
"okay, well is there a certain color tie I need to waer?"
"yeah, red"
After we finish eating, we sat on the couch for a while then went to bed.
The next day were getting ready. she was in the bathroom. i was trying to get my tie
straight.
"i can't get this" i said then Brittany walked out of the bathroom. i looked down to
her legs then up to her eyes. "Damn"
She laughed "come here" she started fixing my tie.
"you look beautiful" I said
"thanks you, butt i rither still be jeans." i smiled
"there you go " she said i looked down "and you look handsome yourself."
"thanks"
"Vero doing?"
"how'd you know?"
"she just like that, and you were with her yesturday."
She smiled "here" I held out my hand. she gave me her hand , and I turned her,
"ready to go?"
"yupp" she said
She walked in front of me to go to the door.when I grabbed her coat. teh pinched her
in the butt. she jumped.
"Sidney" I laughed
We got there, it was at this club. most of the guy were there and their girlfriends.
V came up to Britt.
"does he like the dress?" she asked her
"yes, he does" I said putting my arms around Britt.
"oh, Okay" V said and walked away.
"you want something drink?"
"no, thanks"
Walked over to the bar.
"i need to see both of your i.d's." teh bartenders said
"oh, i'm drinking" Brittany said
"okay"
I showed him mine, and got my drink, and we walked by the guys.
"Sid" Max, Marc Geno, and some other guys yelled
"hey"
"oh, Damn is this Sid's Brittany in a dress." Max said
"shut up" Britt said pushing him away.
"you look great" he said
"thanks" she said
Then the music started up.
"come on Brittany" Vero came over and grabbed her, and stared pulling her on the
dance floor. Brittany grabbed my arm.
"come on" she mouthed to me.
I shool my head.
Later that night. I fanilly was dancing with Brittany. Then a slow song came on.
Iturned he around. she looked inti eyes. i put my arms around her waist, she put her
arms around me. and put her head on my chest, and I could feel her whispering the
lycis, it felt so good to have her in my arms. it felt like we were the only to
people in the room.
When the song was over I looked down at her and she looked. I kissed her.
The night went on, It was alomost midnight abd I couldn't find Brittany. everyone
started to count down.
"10......9.....8......7.....6.......5" I was going through the crowd looking for
here.
"4.....3.....2." she came up to me. she smiled and laughed.
"1" I grabbed her moved the piece of hair from eyes. She put her hand on back of my
head i my hair. i put my hands on her hips. i smiled and kissed her, she kissed me back. we broke apart.
"I love you" she said over the crowd sceaming and yelling

Chapter 68
The next day, after work i got ready and went to game after the game over I went to the lounge.
"Vero" I said
"Brittany, it been a long time."
"i know, how have you been?"
"great, you?"
"i've been good." then Sidney came up behind me.
"of crouse, she been great she been with me."
"oh" I laughed, and turned around.
"i'll see you britt" Vero said
"okay, see you."
"great game." i said to sid
"thanks"
"so, are you going to mario tonight?"
"yeah, i think."
"okay"
"you like when I stay the night."
"yeah i really do."
The rest of the month went on Sid was staying at my place more and more, he was even
staying game days and taking nap here.
Now it was the middle of November. We were lying on the couch. Watching t.v.
"Sidney"
"yeah?"
"I been thinking you been staying alot lately." I looked down at him.
"yeah?"
"why.......don't you.......move in?"
"move in?"
"yeah, I really like having you here, and I......if you don't want to It okay I
undestand."
"Brittany" he said cutting me off "I want to."

"really" he said I smiled. grabbed my hips and pulled me down to him. I laughed.
next week went on, and we were moving him in.
"oh, these are some tight boxers." I laughed
"yeah. they are."
Sid had away game, but later that week. Sid was home. I haven't been feeling to well
I have a sore thoat, headache, stuffed up nose. It was the day of thankgiving. i woke up from knocking on the door. i still lying in bed. i sneched.
"oh" I said
"do you want me to get it?" sid asked mummbleing into his pillow.
"no, I got it." i sat up and looked at the clock.
"do you have a morning skate?"
"yeah, i know, i got to get up." he said the another knock.
"who could that be?" I asked
I stood up, then a headache hit me.
"oh"
"you okay?"
"yeah" then they knocked again
"i'm coming" I yelled "oh, I shouldn't have done that." Sid chuckled
"shut up" I said and walked out of the rom to answer the door. I opened the door.
"mom, dad" I said
"hi, honey"
"I....mmm..I didn't know you were coming, oh..mmm.. come in." they walked in.
"Since. you weren't coming up for thanksgiving we tought we come down."
"okay"
"are you okay?" mom asked
"yeah, I just have a headache" I throught to myself and a sore thoat stuufed up
nose, and a i feel weak.
"whats with all the boxes?" dad asked
"mmm....yeah ah....s---"
"britt, who is it?" Sid asked coming out of the bedroom rubbing his chest.
"oh, I see" dad said
"yeah"
"mr. Taylor, Miss. Taylor"
"well, we all can be together for thanksgiving." mom said
"actally, Sid got a morning skate." i said
"well wehn he comes back."
"he has a game tonight." I said
"well how about you two come to the game tonight." sid suggested.
"i love too" dad said
"yeah" mom said
"Mr. taylor would you like to come to the morning skate."

I got into bathrom, filled up the tub. I gotin and i was in there for about half and
hour. i got out, got dress, and went into the living room.
"feel better?"
"a little" she handed my tea and I sat on the couch cover myself up.
"so when did he move in?"
"earlier this week."
"oh, whos idea was it?"
"mine"
"really?"
"yeah"
Sid's POV
The end of practice. i was coming out og the locker room Brittany's dad was talking to some of the guys.
"are you ready?"
"yeah"
We left, when we got back. we walked in laughing.
"shhh" her mom said "she sleeping" I looked over her shoulder, brittany was in a
ball on the couch in a blanket.
"how long had she been sleeping?"
"not long."
I walked over to the couch and picked her up , and carried her to bed. i pulled back
the covers and lied her down, and covered her back up. then went into living room
and talk to her parents for a while then I went in the room, for my nap. i climbed in Brittany put her head on my chest.
"are you cold?"
she nodded into my chest, and wrapped my arms around her.
"I don't want to get you sick."
"your fine."
When I got up I got a shower, ate, talked her parents for a little bit. Then I went
back in the bedroom to get dress. i seen Brittany sitting up on the bed.
"hey babe"
"hey"
"your finally up."
"yeah, but i feel like i'm going to fall right back over."
"why don't you going back to sleep?"
"your game"
"just go to sleep."
"Sidney"
"Just go to sleep." i said and rubbed her back and she lied back down.

Britt's POV

roo,. Picked up the remote, and saw a note on the coffee table.
Brittany,
your most likely mad at me for letting you come to the game, but i don't care, you
need sleep, there soup and stuff in the frig, eat, and feel better.

I turned on the TV and it was still the first period. i watch the game ate. I ended of the game. i fell right back asleep.
I woke up the next day in bed, got up and went in the the living room. i felt a lot
better. Sidney was lying on the couch.

Later that day I walked into my place,
"something smells good" I said
"hey babe" he said in the kitchen.
"hey" I went into the kitchen and put my arms around him.
"remember what happend last time."
I laughed.
"do I have time to get a shower?"
"yeah"
I went into the bathroom, got a shower. Came out come out and went into my room. Sid
bag was sittingon the bed I got changed. the went into the living room.
"just in time." Sid said
"so you planning on staying the night?"
"well, yeahjust for this week." he kissed me on the cheek.
the week went on then a month. Sid been doing training camp and he's back at mario's
and ive been warking. the first game was coming up.
The weekend before the first game sid picked me up, and around seven.
"where are we going?" i asked
"you'll see."
When we got there, it was the same park where we had our first date. i got out of
his car, and it is where we went to see the movie, and there were still having
movies. sid was in the back of his car.
"Sid--" he handed me a blanket he got out with another blanket and basket. i smiled
at him, and turned around. he put a arm that had the blanket around me. and whisper
into my ear.
"happy anniversary" I stopped and turned around and smiled at him hugge him. he
laughed.
We put the blanket down in the grass and we sat down.
"so what do we got, popcorn" I asked
"no" he start pulling out stuff.
"you got a whole picnic."
"yupp"
We ate , after we were done we put all the food away, i looked at him.
"what?" he asked
"i love you"
"i love you too."
We ended up his arm was pillowing his head. I was in between his legs with my headon
his chest.
"thank you" I whispered
"for what?" he asked
"everything, everything that you did for me, and not giving up on me."
"Brittany" he said sitting and I sat up with him "look at me." he put his hand on my
face, and I looked at him. "we been through our hard times, and our good times, but like i told you a few months ago, i;m not going anywhere." he said and wrapped his arms around me. We watched the the rest of the movie. when i was over we were walking back to the car.
"so are you staying the night?" i asked
"I think so, cause i have game the day after tomorrow."
"i know i'm so exicidt." I said
he laughed
"you should have seen me whe I was a kid i got so happy. I would get butterflies."
"yeah"
"yeah, i love it."
"why didn't play?"
"becasue when i started liking i way through i was too old to start."
"your never to old to start "
"i don't know, but i did get a street hockey syick, i fooled around outside."
"cool" he said "but, I have to tell you if I stay I have practice tomorrow, and I
know your off tomorrow."

We got back to my place, we just went too bed and went to sleep.
The next morning I woke up to sidd getting out of bed.
"sorry babe" he whispered.
"it's okay" i said sitting up and he walked out of the room.
He came back in and fell on the bed.

"what are you going to do today?" he asked
"i don't know"
"you'll find something to do."

side of my waist.
"what are you doing?" I asked

I laughed and kissed me, he leaned me back on the bed, and he wrapped his arms

"why?" he asked
"you have practice today, you have to get ready."
"okay, i'll go get a shower" he started getting up.
"I don't get it your going to a shower, then your going to get all sweaty. "
"well truth is I was going hopeing you were going to join me." he laughed. i smlied
"first, no not today, ans second drity." I throw the pillow at him, he caught it. I
laughed.
Sid didn't get a shower, but I did. I was in there, I washed thee sampoo out of my
hair.
"Britt" Sid said
"no Sidney you can't join me."
"no, i wanted to tell you i'm leaving" I turned around and seen Sidney head poke in
the shower.
"oh okay" I kissed him, then i smiled at him. "are you going to mario's after?"
"yeah, i'll see you tomorrow after the game."
"yeah"
"okay" he kissed me
