Sorry it took so long. finals are over, and school is over in a week. so i should more update coming.
Jessica and Nikki yelled at me to answer the door. I got up and went to the door. i got up and went to the door, I took a deep breathe and opened the door.
"Hey" I said to him and the six guys standing behind him.
"Hey" he said
"This is Jessica and Nikki" I said
"Hello, nice to meet you two, I'm Sidney, this is Evigeni but everyone just call him Geno, this is Max, Kris, Brooks, Jordan and this is Marc." He said
We all said our hello's to everybody.
like 30 minutes later
We have the food cooking, Jess put on some music, the guys, Jessica, and Nikki were talking and I was by myself in the doorway.
I was standing in the doorway and I looked over at Sidney was just standing there by everyone but he wasn't in like the circle there were talking he had on tan shorts on with a t-shirt on with a jacket with the selves rolled up. With flip flops on. He turned his head and I quickly looked away and walked outside. I fliped the food thats on the grill. I was looking out at the ocean on the deck.
"Hey" a voice said
I jumped and looked behind me it was Sidney.
"Hi" I said
"I didn't mean to scared you"
"It's Okay"
"Thanks for asking us to come over looks like everyone having a good time."
"Yupp are you having a good time?" I asked him
"yeah, you"
"yeah"
"you didn't look like it" he said
"I could say the same for you"
"I just wasn't inserting in what they were talking about" he said
"right"
"it's true"
"Okay"
"Yeah"
"So anyways you a penguins fan?"
I just nodded
"So you know who I am"
"Yeah, Sidney Crosby right"
"yeah"
"your friends sound like there know a thing about hockey?"
"They not really into sports"
"So your into sports"
"yes"
"nice, you play any?"
"yeah, softball"
"really?"
"yeah, why"
"you don't seem like the person that would play sports."
"whys that?"
"you just seem so quiet, and so kept to yourself."
"yeah I am, but when I am on that Field I feel like a different person.i let go. "
"where do you play?"
"first, and catcher"
"when did you start playing?"
"Ummm.... About the forth grade"
"When did you start playing hockey?"
"when I was about three."
"Wow, and how old are you now?"
"yeah in Canada that what you do. 20, how old are you?"
"20"
"hold on, I got to check on the food"
"Okay"
I got up and walked over to the grill. I can't believe that I was talking to him aand I don't have a problem talking to people. But I can talk to him.
The food was done I out it on a plate.
"Sidney, the foods done" I told him
"Okay" he got up and walked towards me.
I went to pick up the plate. and he said
"I got it"
"thanks"
"yupp"
We walked in and everyone was still where we left them pretty much. We walked into the kitchen got the rest of the stuff out. Then Sidney goes.
"YOO FOODS DONE" he yelled.
I giggled and he looked at me.
After we got our plate everyone went outside I sat in the coner and sidney came over and sat by me. We talked and laughed about the most random stuff.
"foods good" he said raking a bit.
"yeah,thanks"
"yupp"
We both finsihed are food at about the same time.
I turned to him.
"Here I'll take your plate in" I told him.
"No, i got it" I said
"Okay who am I to argue with a girl." he said.
I laughed and took his into the Kitchen. Jessica was in there.
"So you and Sidney are talking alot. It looks like you don't have a problem talking to him."
"yeah, I know, It seems so easy to talk to him."
"All I have to say it about time you talk to a guy."
" yeah, yeah, yeah, I know" I said starting to walk out the door.
"I just saying" she yelled
It was starting to get dark and getting chilly out and Jessica and some of the guys were trying to start a fire. I was sitting on the deck with sidney, talking.
"so you like in or around Pittsburgh?"
"I live in Pittsburgh now but I grew up about 30 minutes away from pittsbugh."
"Nice"
"yeah"
"you know you really don't talk much."
"I know"
"yeah"
They were still trying to get the fire going and I was getting cold, I started to rub my arm trying to get warm.
"I'm going to get a hoodie" I said getting up.
"wait" he said grabbing my wrist.
"here" taking off his jacket.
"no I can get my own"
"no really here"
"are you sure?"
"yeah"
"Okay" I said taking the jacket and putting it on.
When I put it on all I could smell was him, and he smelled so good too. Were just sitting there and stated asking the simple question.
"what your middle name?" he asked
"Nicole, whats yours?"
"Patrick"
and we asked many more.

Chapter 3
Around 5:00 i was getting ready Jessica, and Nikki are getting thing ready downstairs, and outside. I have no idea what to wear I love jean and T-shirts but I do own a lot of nice clothes and I wear the, but i don't know, and why I'm I acting like this.
Finally, Jessica came upstairs
"Are you ready yet?" She asked
"Does it look like I'm ready" I said holding a shirt in one hand and holding jeans in another hand.
"Do you need help?" She laughed
" Yes, and it not funny."
"Yes it is, I have never seen you act like this about a boy" She going thur clothes.
" I was thinking about this" I said pointing to the outfit on the bed. It was a black shirt and light blue jean shorts and black flip flop.
"But I don't know if I can pull it off" I said
"You can" she said grabbed the clothes and getting them to me. I walked into the bathroom put the clothes on, did my make up, and did my hair then I came out of the bathroom.
"You look cute"
"Really"
"Yes, you look fine"
I put my head in my hands.
"What am I doing, I can't do this, what if he doesn't even like me? What it he's only coming because he feels bad because he hit me with a volleyball and he ran into me?"
"I think he likes you, he was truing to try to you at the beach."
"yeah but he hit me with a volleyball, he migth feel bad."
"I don't think so." she said
"I don't know"
I went downstairs with Jessica and helped get the rested of the thing together.
I am so scared, I asked him to come over and if I don't talk to him that would be mean, but what do I talk about. But will he even talk to me, why I'm I acting like this all I know about this guy is that his name is Sidney Crosby and he plays for the penguins. And all he knows about me is my name is Brittany and I don't talk much.
I'm sitting in a chair in the living room in my own thoughts when I heard the doorbell ring. I felt a lump in my throat grow.

Chapter 2
I got back to the house, I was thinking to myself why didn't I look at him, he could have been really cute or why didn't i say a little bit longer maybe we could have got talking about something else. I don't know, I didn't even look at him, he sounded cute Ugh I don't know.
I didn't leave to go back to the beach for a while it was like i was scared to go back. I laid out my book so it could dry, and put some of my stuff away.
Finally. I got my bag and went back to the beach. When I got back to the beach. Jessica and Nikki came up to me.
"Are you Okay?" Nikki asked
"Yeah" I said.
"You left pretty fast, What was up with that?" Jess asked
"I don't know."
"he was trying to talk to you" Jess said
"Really?"
"Yeah"
"He's cute girl." she said
"I really didn't notice."
"Yeah, you didn't even look at him"
"yeah" I said as I looked our towards the guys,
"So which one is he?" I asked
"The one with the light blue shorts on."
His back was towards us he had dark brown hair with few curls, very fit body, his shoulder are amazing.
He went to turn his head and I looked aways so he didn't see me looking at him.
We stayed a little bit longer but when we leaving I'm walking along the side of the restroom. And as i turned the bend.
It felt like i hit a brick wall and i dropped my bag but before i hit the ground, I felt something grab me and pull me back up, I looked up and saw the most beautiful set of hazel eyes looking down at me.
"I am so sorry I should I should really watch where I am going." he said still holing me in his arms.
"It's Okay I wasn't really paying any attention where I was going either."
Then I looked away quickly
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean - " he said letting go of me.
"I'm Sidney"
I faintly spoke up
"I kn- I mean I'm Brittany"
"Well its nice to meet you Brittany."
"It's nice to meet you too."
"Your the girl I hit with the volleyball."
I just nodded
"I'm really sorry about that"
"It's Okay"
He bent down and picked up my bag.
"You're a fan?"
"Yeah"
"that's cool"
"Yeah"
"You don't talk much do you" he asked
" No not really" I said
My friends called from the house and turned and I looked at them. And turned back to him.
"I should get going" I said
"Yeah, me too." he said handed me my bag.
"Thanks, nice to meet you" I said staring to walk away. he just nodded
But then i turned back around.
"Hey what are guys doing later?" I asked
"Nothing as far as I know." he said
"We were thinking about cooking out later and if you guys aren't doing anything and if you want to maybe you and your friends could come over later and hang out or something" I said
"I don't see why not, I'll ask them but i think we'll be there. "
"Okay we are in that house." I said pointing to the house
" Okay see you around like what 6:00?" he asked
"Yeah that's good"
"Okay"
"Okay"
"See you then." he said
"Yeah Bye."
"Bye"
As I was walking up back to the house. Started to think about what I just did. "I think I did something really dumb" I said
"What?"
"You know that guy the hit me with the volleyball?"

" Well I just ran into him and I asked him and his friends to come over for dinner and to hang out."
"Do you think that was dumb?"

Chapter 1
I woke up to the sun shining thru my window. It is the middle of the summer. I am in Floria on vocation with my two friends Jessica, and Nikki.
I got up went to the bathroom and went downstairs of our beach house. I grabbed something to drink, got my book that was sitting on the table, and stared reading it, About ten minutes into my book Jessica come downstairs rubbing her her eyes.
"Good Morning Jess" I said
"Good morning Brittany" She mumbled
Her and Nikki have never been morning people. but me on the other hand. Has always woke up early but i have my days where i can sleep in but not often.
"your up early" I said
" yeah the sun was coming thur my window and wouldn't let me sleep."
"it was shining thur my window too"
"but that's not why your up, your always up early."
"true."
"is that a book?" she asked
"yeah?"
"gave me the book."
"No"
"Yes" she said taking the book out of my hand
"Why are you reading on you r summer vocation"
"Because I like it" laughing because I know where she was going with this.
"You know what you should do this summer?"
"What?"
"Find a guy, not just that meet someone new." I just rolled my eyes
" You haven't been out with a guy in forever." she said
"We talk about this all the time, I'm happy"
"But your always by yourself."
"I'm not always by myself. I have you and Nikki."
"Okay, but when you not with us who are you with?"
"Umm.."
"Yeah, that's what I'm saying"
" I just feel bad because every time Andrew and I go out and you come with us. Him and I are always together your somewhere by yourself."
"I'm fine" I said getting out of the chair and going outside.
I sat on the deck of the beach house looking out at the ocean. I have always been the quiet and shy one. When it came to talking to people, and talking to guys is my worse. When I'm not with my friends or family. I'm by myself in my own little world. I like to be by myself. I don't mind it. I do wish that I could break out of my sell but its hard for. I don't know why.
Jessica walked outside
"Brittany will you do one thing for me while were her" she asked
"what?"
"Have fun, meet someone new, let go" I just looked at her.
"Okay, I'll try" I said
"Promise?" She asked
i just looked at her again.
"promise" I said
When all three of us were up, we got dressed, and went out to get something to eat, then went to the beach.
When we got to the beach we found a spot to place our things. When we we were doing that. There were a whole bunch of guys setting up a volleyball net.
About an hour later, I was sitting in my lounge chair on the beach. Jessica , and Nikki were talking to these boys that they just met. I had my head down reading my book. I grabbed my water, taking a drink of it. I started to hear someone start to yell and then i heard someone yell head ups. I looked up from my book and saw a guy running towards me.
Then, a volleyball hit me. Water went everywhere all over me, my book, and my stuff.
My friends came running over.
"Are you Okay?" they asked
"Yeah" i said
The guy came running up
"Oh my god, are you Okay" he asked coming down beside me.
"I'm fine" I said taking off my sunglasses off but I didn't look at him. I have a problem with looking people in the eyes.
" You're all wet now" he said
"It's a bathing suit it supposed to get wet" I said
"yeah"
"But books aren't supposed to" he said
"It'll dry" I said getting some of my stuff together, still not looking at him.
"I'm really sorry volleyball isn't really my sport."
"It's Okay." I said picking up my bag which had a penguins sign on the side of it.
"Penguins hockey huh?" he asked
"yeah" I said starting to walk off
"Are you sure your okay" He asked
" yeah, I'm fine, thanks." I said taking some of my things back to the house.

i will have the first chapter up soon but i don't have time now. i have to go to softball practice, then i have a party to go to , so sometime this weekand i thinking tonight but i matter how long i am at this party. i am going to try to put update during the wekk but school and i start my sofballl games.
